What’s poppin, Observers? It’s me MT and welcome back to the Heavy Spoilers show! This is gonna be a breakdown of Episode 6 of Rick and Morty Season 7…a clip show episode that airs out the dirty laundry of the Smith family. So get ready to stamp your Adventure Cards because we about to jump into it, Gang!
And the episode starts with Rick on the ground drunk off of his old bony ass... Likely as a result of the events of last episode that saw rick finally eliminate his long time enemy Rick Prime for the murder and multiversal erasure of rick's wife Diane. Morty, in an attempt to both cheer up his grandpa and get back to the space adventuring life finally Cashes in all of his Morty Adventure cards... A concept at first appeared earlier in the series in Season 3 Episode 4…as part of an agreement between the two that allows Morty to choose one in every ten adventures. And after Rick refuses to honor his promise I'm letting Morty cash in on any adventure of his choosing, morty whips out his adventure notes... Which includes the names of all the incidents that Morty has counted towards the receipt of an adventure card stamp.

This episode is like the instant replay insurance comertials. Other than that, it felt rickish.
Okay so I was going through your channel and I just realized that you haven't covered the entire series, you only started on season 5 episode 2 for some reason. Unless I'm just not saying something or maybe I'm doing something wrong but it's just kind of odd to me. Like I was about to go on a marathon only to find out I'm starting with season 5 episode 2 instead of season 1 episode 1. Anyway love the channel keep up the good work hopefully one day you'll go back and cover the rest of the series cuz that would be awesome.

I really was caught off guard when, Rick came back from killing the Space Jam versions of themselves, even if those versions wanted to die😮😮😮
One of the biggest wins this episode is how Jerry just finally owned up to his embarrassment, I thought it was hilarious
Jerry has been on a roll this season. Notice in the Jerrick hybrid it had Jerry's body with a crazy six pack and Rick has been treating him with way more respect.

Churri being left on a planet and swearing revenge has to be a Wrath of Khan reference
It is. Khan tells Kirk, “I shall leave you as you left me, as you left her, marooned for all eternity at the center of a dead planet, buried alive! Buried alive…”
Churry’s line is similar. I want to know how Churry returned to Earth so quickly. Hopefully we’ll find out what the wrath of Churry is all about soon.
Loved this episode - kind of a remix of Morty mindblowers with better jokes. This season is 9/10 for me ❤
First time for a long time I laughed so hard at a Rick and Morty episode. Loved this episode.

I believe the look of the Observers is a reference to the Guardian of Forever from the Star Trek episode “The City on the Edge of Forever”.

This episode more or less qualifies as one of the routine anthology episodes like Morty's mind blowers, the Story train/Storylord episode, and the Interdimensional Cable episodes.
To me, by far the funniest episode rick and morty ever had, especially that "normal" gun that shoots bad people skit.
Honestly, this is one of the funniest episodes the show has had in a really long time. I’m actually loving this season so far.

I just watched Rick and Morty Opening. And I'm just realizing that we're going to get Doofus Jerry, I think he'll be teased at the end of the season. It would make sense after Rick Prime is defeated. I could imagine Evil Morty fighting Doofus Jerry and losing.

I think that episode was the Meseeks and Destory : Giant World court and jail episode. The more famous follow-up episode was Vindicators 3 episode.

That 3rd gun we saw Rick give Morty didn't shoot out clones of Jeffrey Dahmer specifically. Rick said the gun shoots bad people, as in the ammunition it shoots out is bad people. So the next time Morty fired the gun it could've shot out Adolf Hitler or Osama bin Laden.

Actually, the cards thing begun in season one, after Rick lost a bet to Morty. Morty gains the right to choose one each every nine adventure. The first time Morty uses that was in the Vindicators episode

This episode was just a showcase of previously pitched ideas that didn't make it across the seasons and you can tell with the animation differences between certain clips, which this episode itself felt like, a bad boring pitch that somehow made it through, people hate hearing this but episode 5 (and not because of canon) has been the only good one so far, the rest havent quite interested me tbh
Very disappointed in your lack of star trek recognition. The observer? That's the guardian of forever that is. Churry's speech about abandoning Morty? That's a clear reference to Khan's "i shall leave you as you left me, buried alive" from Wrath of Khan
