@@Philthypulls I think it’s fine. I think most people hear crap about the voices, other CZcamsrs talking crap, and blah blah. Then that makes your brain not like it as much. I honestly can’t tell the difference because I don’t think about that stuff.
I honestly forgot that the voices were new actors, they worked so well in this episode
If I really pay attention to the voices, I can tell the difference but I'm not watching the episodes waiting with baited breath to notice every inconsistency. Honestly the only people who care enough to notice are pissed that J.R. got kicked off the show

I don't know if anybody else caught this, but that "alien whale" is actually some kind of alien spider that was the first creature to ever try to kill Rick and Morty in episode 1 season 1

This episode quashed any doubt I had if I would still like the show. Had me actually cracking up and totally forgot the whole voice deal the entire 24mins…
This episode was actually awesome!
Once you let your mind get passed the new voices, it is totally classic rick and morty.
To add, I thought the ending was awesome and tied back to the one previous episode really well.
They can use random azz stuff from past episodes to get themselves out of trouble.

I disagree. I think using random stuff from previous episodes degrades the show, but this episode was definitely much better than episode 1. Actually got a laugh out of me

I don't know bro maybe its the fan in you that sees it this way because I keep hoping as well but Rick's personality shift man you can litrally feel and see that it's not Roiland like dont get me wrong the actor's are genuinely trying,for morty it works because he has been slowly going through a Huge character development and he gives the vibe that He is tired of Ricks crap since the Vat episode. So it works ALOT but Rick heck, he does not drink anymore its his infamous take a sip out of the flask and constant burp after every smartass remark and He is much more neater than usual. He gives off the final episode of season 6 RIck vibe more than the RIck we are used to. I just hope this turns into one of those and most of the episodes have recycled tropes heck even summer kept calling it out most evident was that whole ''Crow phase'' refference. but as a genuine fan I have faith things will get better or one will adjust eventually
@@Finalboss_Saibot You sound very passionate about the show. Personally I can't really say I am a big fan, I really liked the first seasons and enjoy the character dynamics. I'm not bothered by the new VAs, just a little emotionally detached from the show due to the inconsistencies of the writing, especially seasons 5-6.

bros I have a thought: what if Rick-in-Jerry offed himself instantly not because it's terrible to have Jerry's brain, but because it gave Rick some, I dunno, vulnerability towards emotions so he was unable to bear his past traumas over Diane and everything? Maybe Rick didn't off himself all this time cuz he copes with intelligence or something?
If anything it would be other way around.
Rick probably thinks about all the ways he could have prevented it whereas in Jerry's mind it would be 'why did this happen?'.
Besides we've seen Jerry be a pretty terrible person plenty of times.

Also Jerry's "Rick" hairstyle is based on the father's hairstyle in "Relative Insanity", which is also a precursor to R&M.

3:00 That wasn't a glitch. R2 did that to save Obi-Wan and Anakin. Rick wasn't very smart at the beginning, blowing his brains all over the shelf. But that led to the episode, so I guess it wasn't all bad.

Um aktually, I think that's a Krull Glaive, not a 5-point alien shuriken. It's also a subtle additional reference to Liam Neeson as he played the Cyclops in that movie, Krull, from I think 1984. Date is off top of my head. It might even be late 70s.

Honestly didn’t even phase me that these were still the new voices. Honestly everybody needs to stop knit picking, the voices are very well and accurate to the characters and should be embraced it’s nearly impossible to tell their different unless you’re really looking for it

This episode was one of the best ever! The first episode of this season personally felt like a real let down, but this one... Oh my! They should have started the season with this episode instead of the mr. Poopybutthole one. Only good thing in that episode was the birdperson guest role and birddaughter cameo.

I think the $57k bill is from a real-life occurrence of this by some rich guy- I can’t remember if he was a rapper or athlete, but he raked up a grand total of over 57 grand, with a massive tip at a New York club (I could be remembering the details wrong). It was insane though, for some reason I distinctly remember there being over $200 in smart water purchased. 😂
