- 40 minutes of Tim Tebow's college highlights as a Florida Gator.
I included a couple extra bonus Tebow moments in here -including The Promise- which I wanted to do to help showcase what a unique athlete he was, and some of the different things he brought to the game of college football. I try to reserve these longer videos for players who are the best of the best in CFB history, and Tebow definitely qualifies. Let me know what you think of the video in the comments, and any other legendary players you'd like to see featured on the channel!

Praised for his skill and hated for his faith, no matter how you slice into him, as a force, Tim Tebow is the GOAT of College Football.
Whatever you’re doing to look this good, keep it up.
"hated for his faith" major culture war vibes. I hope you've eased up on the victimhood fetish after three years.
In a time when 1st round picks are sitting out to prevent injury it makes me sooo nostalgic to see a guy with the Heisman trophy finishing runs the way he did. Rare Breed!!!
To be fair running and finishing runs is what running backs do, which is what he was. Don't mean it in a bad way, he was a Football player, not a QB.
@@MB-xq9hu Not true at all. Tebow was also a great passer in college. People seem to forget that because of his struggles in the NFL
@lukevenable356 I am a Miami hurricanes fan so I watched in horror as he won twice and was a great person at the same time, but to call him a great thrower of the football is not true, clutch player yes but not an accurate thrower of the football.
@@MB-ji6qi At one point he led the nation in completion percentage. He was absolutely a very capable passer at Florida. His slow delivery just did not translate well at the next level
There will never be another quarter back like Tim Tebow again that dude was a beast
Hard to explain to people just how dominant this guy was. You had to watch it for yourself those few years.
The Single Greatest College Football Player That Ever Lived.
this isn't joe burrow highlights
@@Himmyjewett Burrow may have had the best SINGLE season for a QB in college football, sure.... But best overall college football player ever? Burrow isn't even close. Let's put our critical thinking caps to good use here
The best College Football player of all time .
Probably so.
When he ran over the LSU safety and then got a push from two team mates, that was beautiful. Perfect team work in the middle of pure chaos. People dont understand how chaotic it is to be in the middle of that fray and still diligently keep the ball moving forward.
One of my favorite runs
One thing about tebow was that he gave 100% every game he played. God and team always stayed humble.
God... You forget how emotional Tim's voice is when he gives that epic post lose speech. Every team should be looking for a QB that cares that much!!! People argue about him still but Tebow was the face of college ball from his freshman year on, and he lost sooo few games. In my mind he was one of the most must watch players ever in college for me. I'd say Tebow, Reggie Bush, and Johnny Manziel were the biggest three players who got screwed by the NCAA not having any type of NIL deal...
one of the greatest college players of all time
Thx for putting in the time and effort to make this great video.
As an LSU fan I have to give props to Tim Tebow. Most intimidating player I can ever remember facing. People like to clown on him now because of his struggles in the NFL and all the Christian stuff, but he was unstoppable in college
About time there was a good highlight video
Tim Tebow. Florida Raised. Makes us so proud god only gator nation can understand.
I am a Tim Tebow fan. Thank you Tim
Watching Tim Tebow got me interested in college football. Every game he played in was very exciting.
Thank you for your videos Colton. They’ve been a great value during this pandemic. Pray things are going well for you!
I appreciate the kind words, and I'm glad I can help out. I love making these videos for y'all and more are on the way. Best to you and yours as well!
The highlights of his first couple seasons when he ran dudes slap over are COLD
NFL ruined his career. He had so much heart.
I love Gary Danielson - "I'm not familiar with this style of quarterbacking"
Jaguars better no this Tebow has been and still is all heart and strength and ready always , a blessing to the NFL
Tebow was so entertaining guy was a power back playing qb 😂. If an NFL team figured how to make an offense for him man it wouldve been something.
Also, shame on Urban, if he really wanted to give Tim a chance, should’ve been where he belonged, come on man, he is a beast.
DUDE YOU WERE THERE FOREVER
Tebow made Riley cooper a dog😂
He should've been In Jacksonville a long time ago their revenue in sales would've increased for fans to see him as the hometown hero, wasn't the best qb but say what you want he helped broncos get to playoffs in the most unlikely way and win against the Steelers
Sun Sports, oh the nostalgia lol
His throwing motion at Florida look completely different than it did in Denver
they made him change it when he got to the nfl
Tebow wasn’t the kind of guy you wanted to mess with, he had the kind of talent that deserved to be left alone. But they definitely got into his head and tried to make him a pocket passer. Completely warped his throwing motion.
Tebow was too special for him not to play. It's a shame no one took a chance on him and built around his talents.
The most overly hated and under hyped player to come out of college. And people thought Sam Bradford was worth a draft pick. 🤡🤡🤡
This was like 2008. Why does it look like it’s from the 80s
For some reason this comment made me think about the Adam Sandler movie Grown Ups 2. The 80's.... that was 70 years ago.
6:05 Look Like Patrick Mahomes
"Only Mahomes"
I know everyone looks good in highlights, but is it just me, or did Tebow have a way better arm in college than the NFL?
Sports media pundits started the narrative that Tebow couldn’t throw and it became all anyone could talk about when it came to him, to the point where when he got to Denver they made him change his throwing motion and it ruined him.
His arm was fine in college but his release was a bit too slow. NFL game is very fast.
He's was like the Jalen Hurtz of his era except he was a better runner and one of the invigorated players in collegiate football history. If he was given a fair shot with speedy receivers like what Tua has then he would have had a pretty good NFL career and be a sports icon that everybody would would try to get to advertize their products.
We were cheated as fans and sports enthusiasts.
The REAL NFL player who was discriminated against for taking a knee
Thank you for submitting the worst comment this channel has ever received.

Tebow could have been the greatest quarterback of all time
God on cleats
TRAVESTY THAT HE ONLY WON ONCE THATS B.S. BEST QB EVER IN COLLEGE
@9:08
There was nothing wrong with Tebow as a QB the NFL coaches failed him because they want to change his throwing style. If he was winning National Championships and a Heismen why would you try to change him?
Gator fan here. Because his release was too slow. Every single NFL front seven defender was one of the fastest men on his college team. NFL QBs need a much faster release, ESPECIALLY if they have “run” in the back of their minds all the time. They weren’t trying to change everything about him. They wanted to make his release faster. It’s necessary for the NFL game.
You can't tell me Tim couldn't throw or didn't know how to throw. The NFL ruined his arm and rhythm.
Thanks... I've said the same thing over and over they just didn't want him to be what he could be.. thanks to John elway
Look at how far back he brings his arm, he isn’t that accurate. Dude can throw, dude can not throw at an nfl level
@@Starwarman1 He did have an extremely long release and other weird throwing mannerisms but they weren't his main issue IMO, his reads and working thru the progressions was horrible. The guy had unbelievable talent and ability but the fundamental basics of being a QB just weren't there for some reason. A lot of Urban Meyers QB's have had that same problem, unbelievable talent but can't understand the basics. It's kinda like having a kid who is amazing playing a musical instrument but can't read music.
What you think about his move to TE? It's a less technical position but given his age and lack of experience I'm still iffy on it.
@Edmund Blackadder I'm excited for Tim Tebow and Trevor Lawrence going to be there 🏈
I’m sorry Tim Tebow had the ugliest throwing motion I’ve ever seen. Doesn’t mean he wasn’t underutilized in the nfl
Do Peyton Manning tennesee
NFL ruined the nicest ever college athlete of all time. Tebow coulda been great in the nfl if they woulda just let him play like they did at Florida. I always say Tim t and pat white was 10 years to early. Lamar ain’t got shut on either one of these guys. Makes me sad seeing how the nfl is now and how white or tebow didn’t have a nice career smh.
MLK JR WAS FROM MARTINIQUE 🇲🇶 NO SPEECHES

God Bless turn to God. You should also read and spread the Gospel. God Bless you and your family. Repent and accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior who died on the cross for our sins. Turn to the Lord ask for forgiveness and sin no more. Thanks, Faith, Trust, Love, Focus in God. Trust and have faith in God’s plan. Don’t use Gods name in vain or call yourself and worship other Gods for it is a sin. Repent for all your sins even one’s you may not know and ask God to show you those sins. I am nothing without God and his Goodness.
If I ask God for an Ohio State National Title do you think he'll grant it to me
U are challenging
Bless his little goody two shoes ass.
I didn’t think it would be so painful to watch that stupid jump pass again. Time heals all wounds my ass. 😂 Geaux tigers!
John Elway ruined his career, John Elway ruined his rep, shame on him: His ego ruined Tebow’s career, shame on him. No respect for horse face, zero
I’m powerless against that smirk of yours.
Yeap horse face I was a fan until I saw how he treated Tebow I lost all respect for horse face Tebow and wureffel two of the all time greats in college football period.
😂😂😂😂😂
Anybody with common football sense could see he couldn't throw, even at Florida.
Florida was exceptionally talented for that era. He was an eye sore of a thrower though. It was never going to work in the NFL.
Exciting player to watch though.
Tebow was such a great college QB .But as a Broncos fan I can tell you as good as he was in college he was that bad in Denver no kap
Tebow's ONLY time starting in the NFL, with a 30th ranked Oline, 24th ranked defense, posted a winning record, AFC West Division Title, helped franchise reach the playoffs for the first time in six years, reached round 2 of the playoffs & beat #1 Defense in his playoff debut; with the most pass yards.
Tebow is the only QB ever drafted by Denver to ever win a playoff game. Stop the cap he was amazing that year. Btw he never started another game after 2011 and his playoff heroics vs Steelers
@@dannysmith6642He also took over the team when they were 1-4 and had notoriously conservative John Fox for a head coach. That's why he only dominated the last 5 minutes every game. Fox was always scared to win, even with Manning
I don’t know why the 2006 fiesta bowl Florida versus Ohio State was so badly filmed. There are many other games that you can search that are older at Florida or any other college that have better camera quality than that championship game.
