    I was such a huge Tim Tebow fan since watching him during his College days with Florida. I am a huge Dolphins fan as well and I thought that Miami would’ve taken a chance on him in the draft. We were well known for the Wild Cat offense back then with Ronnie Brown in the backfield. Tebow would’ve made such a huge hit in Miami while also being able to stay home in Florida. This man has had such an amazing career wherever he went and I would have countless bar conversations with others defending him to the end. He is an inspiration to many and his faith in God has shown to many, that God always has a plan for you no matter the circumstances. Thank you, Tim Tebow. Thank you for always staying true to your faith and to yourself. God bless.

    • @johnnyscarpetti2322
      @johnnyscarpetti2322 Před 3 lety +2

      TM6 no problem, man. As a Dolphins fan, nostalgia is all we have for the time being. Lol. Since the Marino era, it has been a very long 20 years since we had a quarterback worthy of contention within the AFC East, let alone the other 28 teams. Several coaches, countless running backs, and a defense that hasn’t been stellar since Zach Thomas and Jason Taylor along with CB Sam Madison, took the field in the mid to late 90’s to the early 2000’s. Sure we can have the talks about the what if’s like Drew Brees at Quarterback instead of Daunte Culpepper back in the early 2000’s but like many other teams with the same what if questions, it has been gone and long past. Moving forward, I hope the Dolphins continue to consider to rebuild around Tua while also choosing to sit Tua for the entirety of this season to let him fully heal and continue to learn from the sidelines. No need to rush him in there. Championship teams weren’t built in a year especially with just one position after trading most of the team over the course of 2 seasons, except the Dallas Cowboys back in the late 80’s with Hershel Walker and the numerous picks that Jimmy Johnson and the Cowboys received from Minnesota to draft future hall of famers like Aikman, Emmitt, and Irvin. We all know that they ended up winning 3 championships after that. 92’, 93’, and 95’, respectively. The more time Tua has to learn on the sidelines, the more of a chance Dolphin fans will have to finally have a worthy franchise Quarterback. To conclude towards your Patriots, regardless of the many “reports” of the team throughout the last 20 years, kudos to the 6 time Super Bowl Championships that will be herald as one of the best teams to hold that achievement over the past 2 decades. Trust me, it sounds better for the time being, then what we have. Dolphin fans have to go all the way back to the 70’s to boast about our only 2 Super Bowl wins with one of them being the only team in NFL history to go 17-0 and win the Super Bowl against Washington. Patriots were close years ago with going 19-0 before the Super Bowl but we all know what happened against the Giants that year. I digress, football at its core is a team sport. A chess match that sees 85% mental and 15% physical on any given game day. The aspect of the game is the reason why I am a fan of the game and a student of the integrity of the history that has brought us over 100 years of professional football no matter what team we all cheer for!

      @biglordebunnyrabbit627 Před 3 lety +3

      Johnny Scarpetti My goodness, the Dolphins damn sure could have used him. All you had to do is Taylor the offense around him. But, no, the NFL needed a pocket QB. Dude could legit win a game off pure will. That fact should never have been overlooked.

I mean the guy was a great playmaker tbh, and had five 4th quarter comebacks, in one season. I wouldn't call him a horrible qb, cause he wasn't horrible, just average imo, with the redeeming quality being playmaking ability and obviously being clutch af lol.

    • @PatrickKendrick1988
      @PatrickKendrick1988 Před 3 lety +9

      Drew Gamezzz watch every single one of his games, start to finish (not just the waning moments of the fourth quarter when the opposing defenses were in prevent D), and tell me he wasn’t overall a bad QB. Because he was. Luck played a huge factor in a lot of “his wins”, particularly against the Jets, Miami and Chicago. Take a close look at his losses. A good number of them were absolute blowouts. And most of his wins were because the opposing team played prevent D. If you stacked the box and forced Tebow to throw, he lost 99% of the time. That’s not the hallmark of a good QB. Tebow is out of the NFL because those who understand the game realized this. He’s not being blackballed for his beliefs like many like to claim. He simply isn’t good enough.

    • @drewgamezzz8482
      @drewgamezzz8482 Před 3 lety +1

      @@PatrickKendrick1988 I never said he was being blackballed lol, but again, I just was saying purely off physical talent he was a good player, you're right, he wasn't the best qb, but he was one hell of a football player. And to me it doesn't matter who the wins were against, it was still pretty impressive to have that many comebacks in the 4th quarter in the same season, which like you said, if they weren't so bad they wouldn't have had to come back from that many points down haha. Im not really arguing with you. I just think it sucks that someone who was such a good football player didn't last as long as he could've in the NFL. Though I still believe if you put him in the right offense and staff, I think he still could've been a decent qb. But either way he didn't make it, and tbh I don't think it had a thing to do with his religion or any of that, thats kinda stupid to believe that someone was blackballed from the NFL for loving and praising God too much lol!

      @@df6148 The playoff win over the Steelers was exciting, but Tebow got totally exposed the following week against the Patriots. The fact is that he lost 4 of his last 5 games as teams figured out how to expose his weaknesses. His more fanatical followers showed they weren't Broncos fans when they refused to support Manning, who was light years better than Tebow.
