He didn't cry foul in any way after Richt ordered his team on the field the previous year and failed to get punished by the NCAA or Florida law enforcement. He kept his peace, stated that he and his team would handle it, and they brought justice to America and got revenge on the illiterate buttsniffers in the best fashion I can ever remember in a football game. Calling all 3 timeouts in the 4th quarter to let everyone know that we remembered and this was how it was getting handled. That's how you do it with class, something that doesn't exist in the state of georgia.
They definitely can't the way the college system is setup and being in the SEC. Now if Uga was in the ACC or in the NFL system they might have done it at the end in say, years 2002, 2005, 2007, 2012. But Richt will probably get one more shot at it with QB Jake Eason coming in next year, but the O-line has to be as good as Bama's for it to happen. If he can't do it with Eason he's probably done.

And as usual, the refs let UF get away with a bunch of stuff. Starting with 7:55 which shoulda been a penalty on Spikes for unsportsmanlike. This game was the SEC punishing Uga for the 2007 dance. And I think at a certain point the players realized the refs were on UF's side and they just gave up. I mean, imagine if the refs had called a game like this against Nick Saban, and what his response woulda been. This is where Richt being too nice hurt us.

Looking back on this game, I think the two big factors were: 1) Florida were angry and 2) Georgia were very likely tired. Georgia were playing their third ranked opponent in a row, and essentially their second road game in a row. Three ranked opponents in a row is brutal for anyone--I think that might have been why Alabama lost to A&M in 2012 and why the Gamecocks bellyflopped against Florida in the same year.
