Back in the late 1950s and early 1960s LSU and Ole Miss had become an epic rivalry, with both teams at the top of the polls. After three tough, low scoring losses to LSU, Ole Miss finally beat LSU 15-7 in 1962. After the game, the Ole Miss QB summed up the way the Rebels felt by saying "We simply got tired of losing to these folks." As an LSU fan I have much the same feeling about this game.... 😂 The best thing I can say about it is "Damn, sure took us enough tries." 😂

This is the type of game that you remember exactly where you were when you watched it. This game is what made me fall in love with this sport.
Edwards-Helaire and the O line were the MVPs of this game. That spin move and the final rushing TD were unbelievable. And the 3rd down catch that he made to extend the drive in the 4th qtr was awesome too
He's a hoot to watch. He runs like the Tasmanian Devil, more like a tornado than anything else. 😄
That 3rd and 10 play when it was 33-27 was one of the most clutch plays I’ve ever seen and i’m a bama fan

This will go down as one of the greatest QB duels in the history of the SEC if not all of CFB. Burrow and Tagovailoa were crazy in this game.

I've always tried to soak up the moments and be grateful to witness these Championship runs. Most teams, good teams too, never even sniff LSU's level of sustained greatness. But this team seems different. I'm really enjoying reliving all the moments of last year's championship run, more than previous years. Maybe bc I'm not in my 20's, or technology makes it easier to bask. But I'm with you. All my youtube sessions seem to end up watching some sort of video from this perfect season.

LSU dominated for the most part. A team on a mission and playing with heart, grit and determination. They hadn't beaten Alabama in 8 years and in their minds a victory against Bama was long overdue. Especially after Alabama dominated LSU and held them scoreless in Baton Rouge in 2018. Always a heavyweight fight when Alabama and LSU meet. The best of the best. Auburn and LSU is always physical as well, no matter the ranking of either team. Congrats to LSU on bringing home another natty in 19 and props to Alabama for clawing, scrapping and fighting throughout this game and for their 11 win season and bowl win over Michigan. Love these match ups. The SEC dominates college football.
Even though we lost, this is one fantastic game to watch. I love watching the enthusiasm as Bama battled back to within 6 points in the 3rd. Hats off to Joe Burrow and company for their season. Definitely the best team in the country that year.

@@Fenistamagic It's still hard for me to not say that Clemson was the beneficiary of a pass interference call in January of 2017, but it's also a play that rarely gets called, so you gotta defend it. Clemson won that championship. I try to call it like it is as well. Props.

As a Tide I am convinced of two things. First LSU fans were starting to sweat when Bama was slowly bringing that score up (how many times has Bama done that ultimately leading to a win?!)
Second, I am convinced that after last years loss to us, that same night Jo ventured deep into the depths of the Bayou and sold his soul to the Devil. The proof is how good he played in every other game after that loss.
All jokes aside I don't think we will ever see another college team as special as this LSU team. It sucked falling victim to you (after almost coming back) but as a fan of the sport what a joy it was to watch!(except that part when we loss LOL) RTR!!!

It could have been so much worse. That punt return was a lucky one (the dude is a beast, but getting turned around like that and having open grass) and the 4th and 1 where LSU has delay of game. And the fake out on Stingley for the big TD, and also playing man at the end of the game????
Hopefully someday another team might be better. It doesn't matter who, as long as it's from the SEC, the only thing the south can truly be proud of.

This was the greatest college football game ever played. This win meant more to LSU fans than anyone that's from outside of Louisiana could ever imaging. Thanks to all the players from both teams for putting on the greatest college game in history.

LSU’s 2019 defense may have had its issues. But every single one of the starters on that defense is on a nfl team now

First, this was a great game and I love rewatching it... but it also had the funniest closed captioning I ever saw. I'm either cheering or laughing with tears running down my face for the entire game.
Even though I'm a bama fan and my team lost this game, this was till one ofthe greatest college football games I've watched. Amazing qb play by both sides, Amazing rb play by both sides, and amazing wr play by both sides. An amazing game in all!

That throw and catch at the 2:22 minute mark by Burrow to Hellaire, which was 3rd and 10, with Bama rallying back and having all the momentum; was the play of the game. If they didn't make that play Bama would of got the ball back and took the lead, instead LSU got the 1st down and then a TD. That was a game-changing and game-saving play for LSU.

He caught a TD to geaux up 33 to 13 before half, spun on a defender and ran in, a bama tried to rip the ball and he just went through him. And lastly, he and the offensively line bust through the weakened wall for a 1st down so we can kneel it. So satisfying. 😁😁😁😁

True Bama fans weren’t surprised man our starting ILB were injured, and Tua was not 100%, our o-line couldn’t run block most of the time. can’t expect your best players to get injured and win big games

IMO the play of the game as the game was the 3rd and 10 shoestring catch and run by CEH. bama had all the momentum and i think bama would've tied it after the FG would've put us up by 8. that catch and run imo Iced it.

The two best games last year for me was LSU vs Alabama and Clemson vs Ohio state but out of those two the LSU vs Alabama game was so entertaining
This game has become THE PERRENIAL game of college football the past decade. It led last year in viewership of regular season games with 17.5 MILLION. Next closest was an Ohio St game with 12 million. It's been this way for years now. You know why it's like this? EVERYONE KNOWS THAT THE ATHLETICISM OF THESE TEAMS ARE THE TOP THERE IS.

The older Bama fan at the 1:30:10 mark says it all for Alabama. This was right after the LSU TD with six seconds left in the first half. That look he gives to the cameraman...priceless! It told you "we're not going to win a national championship this year."

This was the battle of 2 of the best teams that we have seen in college football for a very long time, Everyone of these players has a ship some even have multiple.
The first time I saw Joe Burrow play i believe he was a junior. He was very slow, uncoordinated, weak, actually clumsy looking. What a difference one year and a new offensive coordinator makes. Joe will go down as one of the great QB's ever.

You got the feeling that LSU was coming after Bama in this game. They would have played any team, anywhere this season and Alabama kinda just got caught in the destruction.
