I think she does just fine, But I'm a Drag Racer also (35 plus year racing) so I get her !! 👍

I used to have a 1967 Chevelle Super Sport, loved that car. Now I have a 1971 Convertible Corvette.
I had a 65 Chevelle SS just sold it to fix my 72 checy Cheyenne truck but 66 and 67 are my favorite old cars

My first car was a 1966 Malibu! What a blast it was to drive. Straight 6, 3 on the tree! I had so much fun at high-school when one of the girls would ask if they could take it out for a spin 🤣🤣🤣
"Where's the PRiNDL?" they all would ask. I would have to respond, "didn't you notice that it has 3 pedals? It's a stick shift. ". Then, "But the selector is on the column.?." Me; "Yup, it's a 3-speed on the column. Can you drive a stick?".
The reply was always "no." They'd get out disappointed and walk away.

Yes, I also miss Tony. But like others have said, give her a chance, we may all be surprised! I think it would help if they did some back to basics, hands on hotrod projects that the normal 9 to 5 person can relate with! The majority of people into this hobby cannot afford these cars! I remember when Hotrod magazine would have a step by step articles on a project car. It would be great if they started with an obtainable car, put an affordable drivetrain in it (LS maybe) and see what happens! Just a thought?

she is not a real mechanic nor hotrodder. Id rather see her pops on the show, hes the real hotrodder. But pops must of pulled some strings and they installed her on the show unfortunately.

What an awesome episode! My take always, Lucky’s Chevelle is awesome, Tony’s NJ trooper car needs more work and I hope his Philadelphia Eagle’s experience the same fate as his car! Last but not least good old hot rodding schooled the super car crowd!

Ok guys & gals I gotta say nice job I love the new show and the direction it’s heading I just watched lucky and his galaxie wagon I’ve watched this show for some time but you took a Campbel and it paid off lucky is Mr easy going dam glad to see him moving up and Alex well there’s a touch of class am 62 years old and I’d be scared to death I’d say something out of line around her in the shop !
But it looks like things are just fine it’s a great year so far Iam hooked from Ky with love have fun along the way life is just a ride !
Lol Alex you should know Lucky's car is quick. Even with boost the import can't compete with the torque of the 8 Banger ;-). Keep up the good work peeps shows are awesome.

I really thought the Caprice would do better, but then again Tony had it and he pushes it too far. Needs a trans that shifts right. But I love that Chevelle. I learned to drive in a '66 Chevelle, no power steering or brakes, 6 banger and power glide. Nothing to write home about, but this car started my addiction. Had a neighbor who was a mechanic who taught me general maintenance and I took it from there. I also knew that Porsche was gonna lose to Mobile Tech Lucky and his Chevhell. Nice job Alex, but like you said, you brought a knife to a gunfight.😁❤️ Boost is your friend, but the drivetrain needs to plant that power efficiently.😁❤️

Somebody please explain the significance with one of them always acting like they don't know what they are about to do. Yes I realize it's scripted. Everybody can tell that it's scripted so what's the point?
Apparently a producer that are stuck in the past. These scripted tv shows feels so old fashioned and awkward when you have gotten used to the modern "reality" content you find on YT channels. Both Lucky and Alex are much better than this.
