    For first time wash on unprotected car, wash it twice if you want good beading. Or wash the car again in a week to add another layer and much better beading

      If you are using Polar Seal and Aqua Wax too, I would use a different shampoo first. I would use this on washing sessions where you just want to use one product, a quick fire and forget solution. in my opinion there isn't much point using this if you are going to apply more protection afterwards, you may as well just use a normal shampoo -- the value in this comes from combining two steps into one. If you use Polar Seal and Aqua Wax or similar, they will last weeks and months before they need a top up - so use this 2 in 1 shampoo as a top up wash to maintain and restore the protective layers.

    For me this product not there I seen few reviews of this product and the protection not there. I used the gtechnic ceramic wash over the winter and I thought it worked very well much better than this. Also I wouldn’t be using these products in summer u have water spot issues. Personally if u want stick with autoglym then use the popular polar seal performs much better than this or gtechnic ceramic wash

    Great product review, that’s going to compliment RCS for sure 👍 😀😀

      Yup, almost like a 2 in 1. It won't replace dedicated protection like RCS in terms of durability, but if you only had this one product and used this once a week or once a fortnight, I think you'd be happy with what it provided and how long it lasted.

    This isn't a ceramic sealant, it's a ceramic infused wash, to use on paintwork already ceramic coated.
    On it's own, it will give limited ceramic protection, but used in conjunction with a ceramic coating, or ceramic detailing spray, it will be effective as a top up.

      HI Robert, that sounds like a good thing to do - get in touch with Autoglym directly for help. They will be able to assist you and understand where things went wrong. As you can see, there was no such residue on my car in the video, nor on any of the others the product was tested on during development (or it would not have been released!). I'm sure the excellent customer care team will be able to help you out.

      I understand from colleagues that we have already responded and advised you that it appears to be watermarks and provided guidance on how to remove them. Hopefully all sorted.

    Does "we" mean that you are employed by Autoglym or any of their associated companies? You've increased its value by £20, well done

      Thank you 👍 You are being too kind, I have a tendency to ramble on a bit. Hope you got something useful from the video though - the bottom line is, i think its a great product that combines cleaning and protecting very well. If you can get past the fact the shampoo doesn't foam then you will be rewarded with a superb finish.

    Did I miss the bit where you added product to the bucket and then washed the car with it saw the bit where you moved the car then the bucket was half empty then the camera panned back and you had done the other side of the car only bit I saw of you using the product was bonnet

    • @markfromautoglym
      @markfromautoglym  Před 2 měsíci

      Yes, the product was added to the bucket at the start of the video. I didn't think a video of me washing the whole car would be that interesting (plus battery was on the way out!)

    Hi, I've just had my campervan ceramic protected today. Does Auto Glym do PH neutral products as this is what I need to use to wash it?

    • @markfromautoglym
      @markfromautoglym  Před 5 měsíci +1

      Hello, yes, we certainly do. All of the Autoglym shampoos are pH neutral. You can use this shampoo, Ceramic Wash & Protect, Foaming Car Wash, Bodywork Shampoo Conditioner or Ultra High Definition Shampoo. The choice is yours!

    Tried this a week ago and I'm not impressed, it certainly does not sheet water like this in the video, think I'll stick with Shampoo Conditioner

    Turtle wax graphene paste wax is so much better then this. I am an autoglym person but you do have to, try different types and turtle wax go me.

      Hey Stu, with respect - that's not comparing apples with apples. This is a wash and protect product, it isn't the same as a paste wax. That would be like comparing the paste wax you mentioned with a 5 year ceramic coating - they just aren't the same thing.
      I would expect any decent, dedicated paste wax to perform better on the protection front, than a 2 in 1 product like the Ceramic Wash & Protect shown in the video. The shampoo is doing the wash and the protect, the dirt has to be rinsed away, but protection has to remain. There is a lot of clever stuff going on. With paste waxes you are literally smearing on protection, like you would butter a slice of bread. You can control the amount of wax applied with the applicator, you can really cake it on. The beauty of the product shown is it combines two stages into one, we aren't trying to go up against dedicated protection products here.
