- IN 2010 The Fighting Game Community was at the peak of its revival. At the same time, arcade culture had began to slowly fade away. Run It Back is the story of the FGC during this time, leading up to the infamous first SCR in 2010. The FGC was in its prime, and the culture it sprung from was at its end. The story follows three players, rising star Jorge Medina, veteran James Chen and newcomer Brett Leharr, as they prepare for the upcoming tournament. Along the way they face harsh realities of how tough this scene really is. The story also follows LEVEL|UP and their journey on planning one of the most infamous tournaments in eSports History.
This was my first big video project I ever did for the FGC(with the exception of those Evo Intros). Yes, the camera is shaky. Yes, the audio isn't treated, and yes, sometimes it gets dark. But the footage, the story, and the people involved, are not to be missed. I hope you enjoy it, I'm really glad I found it. It's a time capsule back to a different time. Enjoy Episode 1. - Hry

I am loving this. As someone who got into the FGC with SF V. I appreciate any history pre-SF V. It really shows how the FGC grew over time with the players and itself.

Its common for old vets and players back in the day to pronounce it as "Ru". I understand it can be jarring if you're not accustomed to hearing it tho.
