Maybe Street Fighter 6 can reignite the spark and magic of this time. The CEO tournament in Daytona Beach, Florida was pretty epic, with the crowd singing along to the versus screen showcase (and the boos and jeers when it was skipped), to MenaRD beating Nephew with Blanka.
+Anton Kolesnikov It was Mago vs Uryo two insane Japanese player's that had an insanely close game. It was vanilla also so an early match in SFIV history that went very close. A really good match.
+Michael Twinn Pretty sure that was the Grand Final for the first Godsgarden, one of the first tournaments in SFIV where all the Japanese top players took place. IIRC Mago was in the loser's side and went all the way.
Tokido standing up in front of the projector is one of my favorite SF moments of all time. Easily one of the best pop offs.
