    5:16 - How the CSMA/CD in the original 802.11 wireless networking protocol works. CSMA/CD is deprecated in the latest 802.11 standard, 802.11ax (Wi-Fi 6), and replaced it with OFDMA. Is OFDMA in Wi-Fi 6 is comparable to proprietary TDMA?

    • @TPLINKTECH
      @TPLINKTECH  Před 4 lety

      802.11 is adopting CSMA/CA, not CSMA/CD. The way it works has never been changed from 802.11b to 802.11ax
      OFDMA is dynamic multiplexing frequency and time together and controlled by the sender, usually the access point. The access point can send the data in different sub carrier at the same time instead one at a time. The TDMA is usually set to fixed time slot, so the client has reserved resources for upload. They are in different concepts.

    What program can I use to control bandwidth over IP, and manage outages due to non-payment. Thank you

    • @TPLINKTECH
      @TPLINKTECH  Před 4 lety +3

      APs and switches can be used to control bandwidth and blocking client devices. We don't actually have anything at least in the US that specifically blocks devices due to non-payment. You may want to go to TP-Link.com and then contact your local sales team for a more precise answer.

    TP-Link common problem : automatically gets resets configuration to factory settings after a while. Is it got fixed?! (Or is there any reason like due to temperature,..?)

    • @TPLINKTECH
      @TPLINKTECH  Před 4 lety

      It should not be auto restoring to factory unless its taking a surge that is wiping the memory. make sure its properly grounded and if so contact support.

    • @TPLINKTECH
