WHO AM I?
Hello! My name is Colin, or Key, I've just started recording some videos in the free time I have in grad school! I've been playing video games for most of my life, but I tend to stick to more story-heavy or action RPG's (The Witcher, Divinity, Assassin's Creed), I also love RTS games (Total War, Civilization, Age of Empires), and I do enjoy sitting back and playing several shooters as well (Apex, Halo, Battlefield). I look forward to putting out more content soon

You're doing an incredible job of talking while gaming, it's pretty impressive. That being said, I think the mix of commentary while playing makes it harder for you to get to the point and not forget ideas nor go in random direction. I think it would be better if you talked over a pre-recorded gameplay instead of playing while talking, but don't let me tell you what to do, if you like it that way its awesome :)
There's definetly a niche for honest/simple commentary (ex: Sam Sulek, Niko (Mincraft youtuber), and more). You're commentary on imposter syndrome was really interesting and I'm sure it'll reach many people!
It was very difficult talking about stuff that wasn't the game while gaming for sure! I think you're definitely right; it's funny because one of my best friends helping me with this told me the same thing. I really appreciate the advice and the comment! I think I might mix live talking and for important topics (like the imposter syndrome) talk over prerecorded gameplay. I love Sam Sulek! That's kind of the direction I'm trying to shoot for. What subject do you teach? I'm a GRA/GTA in computer science at UTK. I've tried to help some students with the same thing. I battle with it too. Great video!

I'm in the behavioral neuroscience/classical research psychology section of psychology and I teach sense and perception and behavioral neuro classes. Thank you on behalf of your students for helping them through this. You got this too, brother. It's a tough road but I guarantee you'll be so blown away how far you've come in just a few years. College is a waste of money if you have your own vision of a business only you know about and know everything about just saying i dont know who needed to read this but its true
Honestly, unless you're going for really advanced degrees, I believe that apprenticeship models are so much better for learning skills that you actually need.
