So, we're a few days into XDefiant's first season and there's been some good and some bad so today I wanted to take a bit of time with you here this weekend and give my rundown and review of what we've had on offer when it comes to XDefiant and Season 1. the amount of dev to player communication & transparency is unheard. patently waiting for killcams to come to game. most fun I’ve had on an fps since B03
Talk is cheap though, a lot of what they've said either hasn't come to fruition or has been lackluster when launched, hopefully the situation improves in the future

Ranked should be more rewarding IMO, wish it was at least 2XP or you'd get tokens when ranking up.

The no hit points when your hitting someone center mass for an extended period of time is so frustrating. I enjoy the game but that makes me not want to play
I’ve had this issue with a few guns, especially the marksmen rifles… shots I know should’ve hit, don’t register. It’s annoying, sticking with the AK, and it’s INSANE. Most enjoyable AR!
That's why I only play a game or 2 like twice a week. I can't get into it when I'm at extreme disadvantage

I just updated my Internet to fiber. I'm now getting 2gb UL with 200mg DL and 3-6 ping. I'm fully wired in with the new fiber LAN cables and fiber display port as well. That being said, I'm still having issues with getting shot way away behind walls and shooting someone point blank but not damaging them at all. I'm also getting disconnected from the game completely with no errors if I push (X) too many times after I die. Even pressing (B) in the menus too many times, I get kicked from the game.
Having very low ping can make it worse
I am having the same issue,my ping is 60 Europe server,I thought it s my connection but it seems it's not, it's a game issue
Even if you had the best internet available you would have the same issues
I think it’s quite simple really, what this game can fall back on is its gameplay and everything with it is quite enjoyable at least speaking personally for me. I think the gaming community and honestly society in general is always want something new and I get it but like you said all this stuff has been out since beta tests like a year now and once again me personally, I’m still very much enjoying everything. Trying to get all guns gold, using different factions and learning different playstyles. If you’re stuck using like 3 meta guns and 2 meta factions/abilities then of course it’ll get boring.

there is an echelon bug where you can't use your ability anymore, and devices glitching just cancelling out
If ur to close to a wall you can’t use ur scan. And I’ve used cleaners fire bomb and sometimes it just doesn’t even work. It’ll slam down and start a cooldown timer but doesn’t even produce fire or damage 🤦♂️ literally everything is busted in this game
The amount of communication from the devs is better then what we get with the triple A titles. Where we basically never get heard.
Apex and cod ik for sure because I've played those alot and seen its ups and big downs throughout their cycles

I wish there were gun challenges and things like that to work towards. I've already unlocked all the guns and operators (except what's on the pass and the new faction) and it kinda sucks that the only thing I can do with the guns is level than up. I'd love a reason to try some of the weapons that, even after 50 hours, I haven't touched.
The hit reg and net code got worse. How does that happen? 😂 insane the pillows I shoot and the bullets around corners by 10 feet.

Yea I kinda agree. just seems like 2 additional maps and a singular gamemode is really not a whole lot to look forward to in an 90 day timespan
Thankfully an xdefiant CZcamsr who doesn't speak like he's on speed! I play for the fun and enjoyment, anything unlocking along the way is a bonus.
Feels like old school call of duty, and I’m loving it. Been enjoying it a lot more lately as well!

What I love about this game is the player base. The entire squads that play and pub stomp in unranked and then you see them in ranked and they get destroyed! Just shows that they can’t handle it.

A seasonal camo would be sick and would be cool to have and look back on in 12 months if Xdefiant is still going strong as it will show you are an Xdefiant OG. Its 700k xp to unlock new faction so maybe do 1.5 million xp to unlock a sick season 1 reactive camo. 1.5 million xp seems a lot but the season is 90 days pretty much

@@user-nx1qw3wk7r i dont mean 1.5 million for every single weapon either i mean if you reach the 1.5 million xp target you get the seasonal camo for every weapon
The only I can say. I love this game since day 1 when it came and beta play test. The only thing I can say is hopefully do something about The hackers inside ranked and pups matches.
Im just after some help here really…I consistently go over 25 kills in unranked and have a 1.3kdr avg. I then load into a Ranked game and get bent over, I struggle to get over 10 kills and die around 20 times a game without changing much. Is it going to even out after awhile??

I unlocked L111 yesterday, LVOA is decent though and a gun I will actually use.
Ranked is unplayable. A third of my matches start with a man down; hit reg is so bad, and you lose RP even if you started with a man down. There are 0 positives with that system right now.
Facts. Ranked is cooked. Which sucks cause I am not a ranked play typa guy in any game ever. But I wanted to commit to ranked and this is how it goes 😂😂
@@user-nx1qw3wk7r I filmed myself getting into a 1v4 ranked lobby, and I jumped around with the enemy team the entire game...lol
The m16 still two burst's fantoms. Also cleaner's incendiary passive helps on some weapons but hopefully there will be some more weapons in the future that don't take extra shots to reach 120hp as viable counters against them, I think right now there are very few.
The clubhouse is broken . The footsteps on this map are crazy loud when someone is above you . Well this issue appears in all maps but clubhouse is the most broken because there is a lot happening above us
RANKED IS ABSOLUTELY COOKED
The map meltdown for escort always glitches out when I play objective. Also experiencing frame rate dropping.
After all of the delays I’m actually pleasantly surprised at how solid XDefiant is.

you can destroy the spider. don't know if anyone knows this, but as soon as the spider jumps you time your hit with melee button and hit it at the right moment and it utterly destroys the damn thing
Considering the amount of times the thing has seemingly jumped through my gun id be inclined to say it still sucks.
Most of my play hours are going into Bomb when it releases.
I really like XD, and I think the devs have proven that they really care about this game and they’re so transparent. They got my respect
Jesus, I'm loving this game, but thank you for not just simping for it. We criticize it because we like it and want to see it improve. True XD patriots.
We need a no ability/no faction mode so bad. All of the abilities are not very fun to use but very frustrating to play against.
I thought I'd get annoyed by the teething issues so I took a day or so off, and I was wrong. I played today and it was pretty glitchy at times. But I enjoyed it. It feels folksy. I love XDefiant.
Looking at some of these comments, I'm kind of glad that I'm not the only one who noticed a huge uptick in cheating, especially in ranked.
It seems like nobody was talking about it yet half my games, one or two people are going 60-2 while everyone else has kills in the teens or less. I even had a few games where players on the enemy team were calling out their own teammates and asking us to report because it was ruining the game for them too. They couldn't get any kills either and it makes it not fun for either side.
If u a console player disable crossplay. I never saw an cheater in my lobbies
Still some of the ESPRESSO labels in into logo animation are written wrong, with X. Just an FYI mate.
i dont know why the new maps never shows when i play any one have the same problem
I hope the missing updating stats are actually going to be counted whenever they fix it.
If not that will be terrible. Hours of stats getting better not counted.

the amount of hackers its a concern. people flying throw the map, on rank. taking points even before the game starts because the fly out of the spawn. that and the no double exp its making me dont wanna play. dunno in console. but Pc its a hackker party
It's gotta be a pc thing, I've yet to run into the first hacker on Ps5
Ranked is forced cross play everybody has to play with PC you can’t even choose input based for no MnK that’s for quick play only
Im on PC and I have only seen 2 hackers, im lvl 70. Dont know If im just lucky with my server, were do u guys live?
@@Joelice you maybe got lucky . i play 5 games on rank and got 5 hackers(2 of the game on my team actually ) . i play on spain so its maybe the server dont know really. but battle eye its kinda a shitty anticheat. i stop playing R6 because of that , having hackers 6 months free and then a wave ban is not healthy for the game. and after the wave ban one weak later you have the hackers back

I planned on only playing Ranked when it came out, but not in this state. Its glorified pubs. They need to put in a actual rule set, with bans and restrictions, and domination isnt a competitive mode. Hopefully update before season 2.

I can’t stand the inconsistency in the gameplay experience. It’s a coin toss for if you’re gonna have hit reg issues every single firefight.
Dying behind cover/walls still the most frustrating thing for me. Ranked is also a bit of a joke in its current state; there needs to be a limit on abilities or some bans. Also, yesterday i loaded into a ranked game where it was myself and one other vs 4....wtf!?

happened so many times last nite.. one match, the ENTIRE team left... forfeited... what bullshit.. never seen that in COD.. so yea.. i am saying this isnt as good in that respect.
several more times,, half or more of opposing squad leaves, because.. OMG>. they were losing.. and so they didnt wanna hurt their stats..
well, how about.. if you leave.. your k/d you left with goes with you, and while not a win or a loss, your next match, WONT count at all if its a win, but your k/d will count no matter what.
people need to stop bailing on matches left and right, totally f*cks up the game, and ruins it for all players involved.

I’m skipping this season because the BP is lack luster IMO. I’m continuing to play it nonetheless because I’ve been having fun with it. I’m willing to bet they’re gonna reward us with something for all the issues at hand once resolved.
At this point it’s obvious that they can’t do anything abt hackers just like cod can’t but it’s still not enough to stop me from playing

It’s weird to me that the battle pass has lower quality and less interesting skins for THE SAME weapons, later in the pass. I’m not talking free versus premium, I’m talking about both premium.

Heres my thing... This "they're working on it" or "let them cook" mindset people seem to have is absolutely unacceptable imo. This is UBISOFT were talking about here. They have the funds for servers, they have the funds for devs, they have the man power to hot fix 90% of these issues and they just straight up are not doing that because its cheaper not to. Why are we ok with them pushing this slop?

I still see a lot of casuals in the game. And I rarely see sweats and problems (just the netcode problem).
For a company that prides themselves on listening to the community, it's pathetic that the Spiderbot is still in the game, instead of saying oh maybe in a few weeks we will adjust the problem. THE WHOLE COMMUNITY HATES THE SPIDERBOT, SO REMOVE IT. Ffs man, it's the worst thing ever added to an FPS game and the game has been out for what almost 2 months now..... AND ITS STILL HERE. Either be like Activision and just say fuck the community, we do what we want or be what you are pretending to be and when the community says something, you do it. Also this nonsense about potential fixes in the future is crazy, this ain't a $20 gaming company, fix yo shit now, don't talk about fixing it later

First off, 95 % players don’t play at the same rate you tube and content creators play.. there’s lots for us that aren’t a bunch of sweats.. the “general player base has lots of content”

The game totally sucks on PS5 you play on PS five with the net code. You might as well quit bullets don’t register don’t know if you kill them or they lagged or you lagged it’s a joke. They don’t fix all these things it’s gonna go the way of stadia I deleted it and just cause it’s a free game don’t mean it’s worth a shit

@@Caralh.o I don’t play Warzone that shit is trash so I can’t speak on it. For xdefiant it’s just the mp7 acr, mk ii and snipers. It’s BS and I can’t use things like the m16 to level up cause it can’t compete. And everytime I pull out the mp7 I can compete with them. You could say it’s a skill issue but I only play a few hours a week and would say I’m above average at it.
AntiCheat in this game just sucks. Az least 1 cheater in every game. Phatetic
S1 is a flop and huge fails no matter how much they communicate the game is bad and the update broke everything that was fixed and it even added way more bugs. The game is plagued with cheaters and hackers and Ubisoft has yet to address it or if an anti cheat is coming. I won’t be playing until S2 maybe it’ll be an ACTUAL GAME by then and not a very extensive beta also map rotation in this game sucks this has the worst map rotation ever ! I know they said it’s 10 maps and 2 new or something like that but I play the same 4 every single time I’m over it

They're fixing most of the problems and hacking problems they will most likely talk about soon, now that more people are noticing. I noticed them straight away but not everyone did so it weren't talked about enough for them to know its a big problem

The only issue I had with this game (not to mension netcode but this is a problem they cant fix easily) was the fps drops but they fixed it in 1 day. Idk what issues are you all talking about (say them I want to be aware of the problems).
If CoD ever had an update that broke the game as much as season 1’s they would have already had a fix out by now. Instead everyone talks about being “patient”. This update destroyed the netcode and is a complete flop and may tank the game.
Cod has hundreds of devs and millions of dollars. Xdefiant doesnt

Brand new game, whenever COD does a new season they always have bugs and issues. The devs have been alot more transparent than COD devs so let's let them work, if we like the game we can take a break and be patient
