The head & neck cancer symptoms are divided into two types:
1. Premalignant Symptoms
2. Malignant symptoms
A prolonged white or red patch in the mouth can result in leucoplakia, erythroplakia, or oral submucous fibrosis that can result in cancer.
Laser surgery is done with the help of which the red or the white patch is removed. After this treatment, the patient is risk-free from the possibility of oral cancer.
Other signs of oral cancer can be mouth ulcer for more than 3 weeks, difficulty in swallowing, pain in the ear, or hoarseness in the voice which can be an early stage of possible laryngeal cancer. Lump in the neck, lumps in lymph nodes is also a symptom of head and neck cancer.

Sir my father was operated due to squamous cell carcinoma,half mandible has been removed. Now he is facing trouble in eating and chewing and cannot be able to drink liquid. Sir do we have some solution for this. I also wanted ki wo kuch kha PE sake.Sir can denture be placed in absence of mandible? Please reply sir.
No denture can’t be placed.
We need to reconstruct the mandible same time when surgery was done.
But it wasn't reconstructed by the treating doctor neither did they advise sir. He was operated on the 15 April 2022. What can be done now? He is suffering a lot plus continuous dribbling of saliva, what can we do sir?
