99% of cancer starts in the mouth, if you have to swell in your throat, change in your voice, or pain in your ears and throat, then you may have cancer in your mouth.
2:32 What tests are used to detect head and neck cancer?
1. Panendoscopy:- A Panendoscopy is a test to look at your upper airway.
This includes your mouth, nose, voice box, and top of your food pipe.
2. Doctors perform PET/CT Scans to detect cancer and make a diagnosis. Determine whether cancer has spread in the body.

My wife had SCC on Lt lat border tongue, cT2N0, MDSCC- DOI 0.9cm. Was operated on 27/7/21. Thereafter she recd post op RT to b/l face neck to a dose of 60Gy/30# with 6MV photons using IMRT technique between 03.09.21 and 19.10.21 at Tata Memorial Hospital Mumbai.
We go every 3 month for her check up TMC did only blood test no ct or mri done. Is it ok?
