The flexibility of switching languages is big up fr me.At home with himself.Natural ,pure and non-coerced .Brilliant and encouraging.
I am so happy you mention the late Brian Chimwariro your teacher who happened to be my workmate and friend at kwekwe High school. He told me sekuru vana bharanzi vepa Zisco havazivi kuti mufana uyu(Benjani) anogona bhora.
Most people slouch or cower in that seat. Benjan just looks really comfortable, like a really naturally confident person. Love it
Don’t regret not listening during your school days Benjani, otherwise you could have ended up being a teacher and struggling. Not everyone is gifted academically and pat your back 1000x for pursuing football and now you are a blessing to do many🙏🏽🙏🏽
I like how bro Benjie drifts from Ndebele, English, Shona street lingo and u bro Trevor is all going with it. Such a great interview. These two are incredible in this interview.
Parents should teach kids on how to handle fame - Benjani. We've seen a lot of footballers die paupers because of fame that got to their medulla. Captivating conversation. Nothing beats hardwork, Benjani could've been one of those not super talented players but his hardwork made him a star. Not everyone gets a chance to play for top teams like ManCity and score against the mighty Red Devils. Siyabonga Malume Trevor for this episode. Hope you'll be able to bring the likes of Nsukuzonke to the couch soon... Singaba happy njani! Cheers.
Magwegwes finest. Both representing at national and international level. We are proud guys.
Homeboy
Wow I still remember you Benjy when I was playing for Lobengula Queens ( imbarambara)..Cool and well behaved guy. I wish you all the best in your coaching job. Achimwene I salute you!!
Watching from Swaziland and I'm not even conversant with Shona but I enjoy the content from Zimbabwe. Benji....what can I say? I was a huge fan when he signed for Jomo Cosmos and looked head and shoulders above EVERYONE else. It was just insane and he was a huge inspiration. Then he took on the EPL and indeed, him and Yaya Toure laid the groundwork for present day, all conquering Manchester City. Not many SADC footballers make it to the highest level now and it makes you appreciate just how good these guys were. Love and light to you and your future endeavours
But he is speaking in Ndebele not Shona
@@nathdevillie7029 read again...I referred to content from Zim....
He's speaking Ndebele not shona
@@thabosibanda4869 context my bro...check the whole statement, I refered to content from Zim..that is, content in general. Meaning I watch Trevor's channel a lot...not just the Ndebele stuff.
@@nathdevillie7029 Infact , he switchin between English , Shona and Ndebele
I once met Benjani in Byo CBD long back, l greeted him and he remembered me and asked me about how my brother were and all....very humble guy , he does not forget people.
I like Benjani's response.There is wisdom there !
You shined out there for Zimbabwe bro. We respect you Benjamin
What was done for this guy called Alibaba Dube.He deserves to be honoured in a big way for his immense contribution to Zimbabwean football.
every success story his name pops up, a book should be written about him
Being successful and being humble at the same time its a Pure Blessing . Inspired
Such an inspiring interview. Benjani is a product of discipline, hard work, and mentorship. I also enjoyed Benjani's composure, confidence, and switching from English to Ndebele to Shona. Lovely. Trevor as always, excellent at knowing the background of the interviewee, asking relevant questions, and making Benjani feel at home.
Well done Benjani and Trevor.
Trevor, it will be great to have part 2 of the interview covering more of Benjani's life and his investments, charity etc.
What a gentile giant in Benjani,I thoroughly enjoyed this interview. How I wish Trevor had asked him about his family life,fortune/investments etc

I think we needed part two for benjani mostly the Europe and EPL games Trevor ,you were cutting that exciting part coz we see these games on TV and Benji was now explaining the parts which are behind the scenes
Yes, you are right. There is a part Trevor cut Benjani when he was explaining how he almost destroyed Arsenal in the Champions League. There is that game where their keeper, David Seaman almost got hurt 😂😂😂
Well done achimwene. Mwana wakwithu. Stay humble and uplift the young ones. Let's not forget to uplift where our parents came from - Malawi. All the best bambo
Our Soccer Legend. Great interview highlighting the importance of continous hard work, never giving up and persistence. Much thanks to Benjani and Trevor for this excellent lessons-filled conversation.

Great interveiw!! ...So profound and inspirational.
Much more impressive than I imagined
In Zimbabwe, I have never seen a balanced program like In conversation with Trevor. It is in this program where you get to see every Zimbabwean who has made an impact in the society invited. Even those who are making unpopular policies are invited to come and explain their side of the story. Keep it up Mr T.
Thank you for your kind words
I pray one day we will see these legends occupying the Zifa offices to try and pull our football as Zimbabweans from these doldrums we find ourselves in.
Awesome interview. Good point from Benji when young players are signed overseas they really need to be coached further in culture and social life of other countries.
Great stuff Trev& Benji. .Great lessons and insights from you Benjani...you're such talent and inspiration.Keep up well done..
I like the way he switches from english to ndebele and shona. A true patriot and a living legend.
I think it high time for me to revive my Ndebele language - I miss talking isiNdebele. The Benji and Trevor communicated in isi ndebele was just wow
Benjani is such a likeable character. I like his composure and humility.

For an hour I was a soccer fan. Great interview! Great man!
Humble soul. Keep it up.
Would have wanted to hear more about Benjani's views of Westehoff, the man who really made everything possible. Impressive that the national coach attended a trial match to scout for players...
One of the very few successful yet so humble man Zimbabwe has been blessed with.Successful,Hardworking,Humble and motivational defines the man.Thank you malume Trevor for the interview.
Ngowakithi lomuntu. Love you Benjie
Our soccer legend
Thank you once again Trevor Ncube and wonderful stories from Benjani. This was good gents.
I remember his UEFA Champions League game against Arsenal. David Seaman struggled to keep his banger out of goal. That was even going to be the season's Champion league goal
Thanx Trevor, I rarely comment here but I think this was a huge catch. Benjani will be a motivator for our kids and every budding sports person out there. Benjani is one star who has shown how beneficial it is to be humble and play your cards well. Thanx.
Thank you for watching and sharing your feedback. Much appreciated
Great interview! One thing that comes through loud and clear is an age old truth that for some reason we as people choose to ignore. That is the fact that 1. People only see the success side of your story but never the struggle that built it and 2. You can do hundreds of good things but if you do one bad thing society will forget about all the good you have done and focus on that one bad thing.
Great interview!
Great man yet so humble. A lot of lessons from the legend, people will only see the success part and not the failures.
Great interview really liked the language switches and his humility .Great human he is
I like this guy he’s so humble and down down to earth 👏🏿👏🏿🤣👌👌🙏🙏
I enjoyed the interview, our legend undertaker.
Great Mpenjani we'll done. You have progressive aspirations.
Haibo haibo guys what is this? When did Zimbabwean Podcasts get this good just come from two others ones and the content, the dial between host and guest is amazing.
Which ones, so others can enjoy the goodness too?
Wise words Benjani!
Thank you very much for this conversation. I enjoyed it.
Fantastic interview with the Undertaker

Great interview. Hope football administrators and other stakeholders are listening.
Great interview. Thanks for the inspiration.

Proud of you legend
His advice was top notch thank you Benji. This was so natural and relaxed. English, Shona and English.
Trevor you are great and am enjoying your interviews. Have watched all of them and have repeated a few.
Thank you for your support 🙏🏿
I remember this dude in his prime at Pompey he was a prolific goal scorer. He then went to Spurs if not mistaken where he never lived up to his potential and dissappeared from the limelight.
Humble and focused guy. Let’s learn from this man.💪🏾
Great interview Trevor... Thanks Benjie for the great interview. Thanks for the emphasis on hardwork n discipline. The honesty in your journey to fame, the highs and lows, the level headedness in times of pressure.
Benji came from B and max, and heard to dynamics keep doing number 9 wangu💯✊🏾
Great interview. I'm loving the pure bulawayo english accent and how he switches from english to ndebele then shona here and there. Typical kasi guy
i was impressed by that too wow, i wish every zimbabwean was like that
Yes that was brilliant also paying homage to his teacher Mr. Chimwariro giving him a break at Chegutu...
Jeki ndoda
he has what it takes
Haha yes
Benjani you are a real star.i was very young wen u played soccer.all I head was he was a best player n ur history.but I salute you for the archivements you have hold up to now.despite having all that fame....you are a star .some die poor having kids all over , sick thinking coz they HV money....now look at you ,your successes.....keep it up.
Just one thing ,kindly teach these upcoming footballers ,artists that fame should b hold right not recklessly like they are doing
Wow, this is amazing.
Legendary stuff!!!
Enjoyable conversation - genuine
Oh our legend, thank you so much, Trevor, this is great. Kudos.
Great conversation, alot of wisdom nuggets being dropped . I like how Benjani opens his eyes wide when he's explaining something, that there is a look of a hustler🤣🤣
I wish we could have people like these every week on the show. Very genuine, humble and inspiring...

Phakama baba Rise against all odds until even those that speak otherwise concur that you are indeed great!!!
Insightful!
I love the honesty
Great interview 👍
True Zimbabwean l love the language switch
Great interview
We wanted to know Benji the person as well. Does he have kids, is he married, his investments etc. He also talked about the Manchester derby. Wanted to hear more about the bodyguards. Scripts are okay but its also good to go with the flow.
Great interview. I'd appreciate it if you put subtitles when people use other languages (shona or ndebele etc) so that we won't miss out on some of the things being said.
This is so inspiring and indeed a great interview. Well done Benjani, I just liked the way you express yourself, the humility in you. That`s very great.
Good roll model, keep up the good work you are doing.
Phenomenal
Eish!! His former teacher Mr Chimwariro was supposed to see him coaching Ngezi Platinum since that's where he took him in Chegutu. It's unfortunate we can't question God's plans.I hope Ngezi Platinum will give him time money to establish something strong.
