As a Blackhawk’s fan I have watched him all season. He is a very talented and determined player. Bedard is amazing.

As a Blackhawks fan who watched him in his junior career was remarkable. Clear vision for the game and just an incredible player. Bedard’s on something other guys aren’t. 🔴⚫️⚪️

his passing isn't talked about enough i watched him all year and he can be in a situation surrounded by two or three players and there is no room to make a play and he makes a pass where most players would just throw it into the corner

He could have easily had 3-4 more points today. Beautiful passes

He should have had at least 2 more assists as well!

To clear the air on Binnington..
Against playoff teams, their back up (Joel Hofer) was 5-5. And Boston, Florida, and Carolina are still in the playoffs, so he had some tough matches.
Against non-playoff teams, Hofer was 10-7-1, so passable but not great.
For Binnington, he got the job done against non-playoff teams, going 16-6.
Against playoff teams, he posted less than 10 regulation wins in 32 games played, going 12-15-5.
Did he play well, as far as GAA and save percentage is concerned? Sure. But not better than the guys he faced off against.
It's clear that St. Louis missed the playoffs as a team, but even then, playing against the best, Binnington showed why his team didn't make it.
He's been great in the world championships, but St. Louis as a team and Binnington as their starter weren't good enough this year.
And hell, I say that as a Minnesota fan who knows he had their number all season.
There were three playoff caliber teams in the Central, each with top tier goaltending. The only ones who MADE the playoffs.
