  • In this video, I am sharing just a small asana flow (involving just three asanas, #malasana #virasana and #bhadrasana, that could be practiced throughout the month for the betterment of menstrual health, and to alleviate the period pain. Please use props to begin practicing, if you are finding them slightly challenging to practice.
    Period pains are excruciating. While it is necessary to get a medical opinion/treatment on chronic period pains, it is also necessary to practice Yog for the pain-free period.
    Women, please listen to your body, breathe deeply, and honor your needs. Rest well during your periods, and include yog practices throughout the month. Regular practice of these poses may help provide natural pain relief. Additionally, consider incorporating mudras, meditation and deep breathing techniques for your well-being.
    Limitations & Contraindications: knee or ankle or hip pain/injury.
