Wow this River Dive was incredible! While snorkeling in the river for river treasure, we found some really interesting things including an iPhone X, an iPhone 7+, a Wallet with Cash inside, some Valentinos sunglasses, a dog's leash and collar, a jar of peanut butter, and other fun stuff. I tried to return both the phones and the wallet, but my luck ran out, and I couldn't reach the owners!

The Story of the Dog Leash

The other day I was walking my dog along the river. It was beautiful, sunny, and warm outside. My dog Ben and I went to where it was a little more shallow. I didn't think the current would be so bad since It was shallow, but I was wrong. Before I even knew that it was bad I let Ben jump in and cool down. I had one of his favorite balls, so I threw it and and let him go for it before he got in. He jumped in, and him and his ball went hurling down the river. He was bobbing up and down and I screamed for help. Nobody was around. I thought for sure he was gone. I yelled in desperation for him to come and started sprinting as fast as I could. I threw my phone on the ground and took off my shoes. I jumped in with his leash and started swimming down the current as fast as I could. At last I reached him, and hooked him up to his leash. My feet were scuffing the rocks as I tried to reach the grass. I was balling my eyes out whilst trying to get out. I didn't know how long it would take me to get out because the ground was more raised than the water. People saw me and Ben trying to get out and they ran over to us and helped us out. When we tried to get Ben out his collar slipped off with his leash still on it. It floated down to the bottom, but I didn't care. As long as I had my sweet black lab, Ben, I would be okay.
