When my son was in kindergarten he wanted to pull a prank on his whole class so he wore mismatched socks (his idea). It was so cute.
omg thats adorable!! 🫶🏼💗❤
Do I live in America? NO
Am I a teacher? NO
Do I listen to every single episode and love every second. YES I DO. ❤
No literally same
Same I’m literally in school
I remember my mom told me this story. When she was a middle school social studies teacher, her student put a rubber snake under her desk so when my mom stood up to teach the lesson, she was standing in it. One student asked my mom, “What are you standing on Ms. Wooton?” She looked down and saw the rubber snake and she said, “That’s just a rubber snake.” Her students were so disappointed and she said, “You mixed me up with the teacher next door. She’s afraid of snakes and I’m afraid of spiders.”
I remember when I was in high school (Texas) during my senior year the seniors in shop class went out and found vehicle parts that matched our principals car and re-assembled it in the court yard while having a tow truck move his actual car from the teachers parking lot to just around the corner. The shop class teacher was impressed that he gave them all "A"s for their final grade.
One year when I was a long-term sub, I convinced my Middle School students that there was a mouse loose in the classroom. I played the sound of a mouse scratching and squeaking on the speaker system but hid the window so they couldn't see it if they came to my desk, then once they noticed we all searched around the room until pretended to catch the mouse in a coffee mug to let out the door- said mouse was a crumbled up piece of paper that said "April Fools". Some of the kids got really freaked out and I felt bad but almost all of them said it was one of the better Pranks that had ever been played on them.
I read "mouse" as "moose" the entire story, and really questioned your students. Lol 😂. I am a teacher.
@@taylormathis2085 In my district the Moose are very very tiny 🤣
This wasn't my graduating class' senior prank, I believe it was the year before. A group (I truly don't know how they managed this) ended up putting A LOT of crickets in the principles office. That following Monday she voiced over the intercom saying these people needed to come forward before the police got involved
For the the last day of school i gave my bald science teacher shampoo, conditioner, and a comb 😂
I love listening to these ❤
Best senior prank: At my child’s high school they hired a mariachi band to follow the principal everywhere for one day. 😂 Love your podcast!!!
The vomit stories reminded me of something that happened with my younger sister. One night I woke up and walked into the hallway. I saw her sitting up in her bed, so I asked if she was okay. She says “I don’t feel good” and immediately throws up all over herself. I’m so sensitive to that and I almost threw up after seeing it. Since my dad is sensitive to it too, I knew I had to wake up my mom or risk 3 people throwing up that night 😂
33:55 gabe’s airplane spit story. i laughed so hard.
I live in Florida and we have huge bugs. In my 8th grade science classroom during homeroom, my best friend saw a wasp and immediately screamed and ran across the room. My teacher then swatted at it and pushed it out of the classroom so it was in the hall. Later in 5th period it was swarming outside her door and we all had to walk by it. My school did nothing about it. We have a huge bug problem but they do not care.
love listening to these
The secret folder prank is clever (although I probably wouldn't include the "Students Who Smell Bad" one. I knew a few people who were very self-conscious about that because their parents were heavy smokers and nothing gets that smell out. Or kids who aren't able to get clean clothes and regular showers).
Love listening
Great amazing discussion

Watching your every single video just loved it..! ❤️
GREAT!!!!!! episode!!!!!
I remember in middle school all of my teachers gave their classes an enormous amount of homework. It was an incredibly ridiculous amount of homework. At the very end of the last hour of the day the last teacher said "April fools, no homework for any of you". They definitely tricked all of us.

Once, while I was in class it was April fools and all that, a kid came up to the teacher with a mini water gun and said: please don’t send me to the principal’s office! My teacher also gave us a fake word puzzle lol.

My son loved it
Back in my K-12 student days I had SO many teachers do the "read every question first" tests where the last question says "write your name on the test, don't do any other questions, turn it over, and wait.
The one that was different that I really remember was in grade 4. We did this daily language exercise where there would be a paragraph written on the board when we came in and we had to copy it out, then we all read it out loud and discussed it. On April Fool's that year, the paragraph was a ridiculous-sounding biography of a Viking king named Loof Lirpa, which if "April Fool" spelled backwards. The prank was that we discussed that thing in earnest until someone noticed.
Lovely
My senior class prank happened when I was away on a school theatre trip 😂 I graduated 2010 and a few seniors released 10,000 super bouncy balls into the main hall from upstairs.
