We head to Advanced Adapters to tear down and rebuild our Atlas transfer case. While there, we get the opportunity to show just how a transfer case works, the benefits of an Atlas transfer case, and how you might be driving your rig all wrong!
Hope you all enjoy the video! - Auta a dopravní prostředky
It was a honor to let me work on your transfer case, nice meeting you guys , I need to get some of your merchandise from you guys
Anytime!! Thanks for taking the time with us.
The big guy's knowledge but mostly his attitude won me over and honestly I wasn't even shopping for an Atlas. I just clicked for the cool ZJ. I'll be calling about a Comanche.
The atlas is on a very long wait list... 12 weeks out. Wish I knew about that before I planned my trip to Moab in June with my TJ. My 4banger stick needs that 4 speed for that slow crawl. I needed it yesterday!!
@@tjtuck4520 send all bribes to the man above 👆🏼 and maybe that wait will shrink 😉
@@aron6998 I'm trying!!! Still waiting on a 4 speed......
It’s refreshing to hear from a technical expert on a product versus a random customer service person that has never used the product (general consumer items, not Atlas) they represent.
That guy is definitely an expert! An atlas would take some time to get used to but pretty cool. Happy Trails to you both.
Jelly is NOT NEEDY!! She LOVES you very much. That look on her face is "are you guys going to be all right without me?"
You guys should be getting royalties from ATLAS!!! You just sold "TWO" Atlas' T-Cases for our Jeep JK Rubicon Recons.
EXCELLENT video!!! Tanks
As a truck driver I feel that I was thrown back in time driving a 5 & 4 transmission what a trip , now I can do that in my Jeep Oly crap .
I was thinking the same thing.I flashed back 30 years.getting lost in a 5 by 4.Scrape scrape,it took a minute to get it right or a week.
Outstanding, as usual. Very informative, didn't know I need one, now I do know.
Ah poor Jelly she just needed some love. I have never seen an Atlas torn apart, I have never seen an Atlas that failed so why tear a good one apart. Good information explained very simply.
Great knowledge and another great video I’m dealing with transfer case issues now don’t know what’s good for my truck lol just dropped 1800.00 on transmission this 4 wheel life ain’t cheap be safe can’t wait till next video guys
Great educational video. Thanks for sharing!
I have had a four speed Atlas in a V10 F250 for a decade and love it. Great video -Thank you.
Exactly what I’m looking at doing. 00 ccsb v10 F250👍 it’s cheaper to upgrade than replace with a new truck
This is very nicely explained. Thank you for this video
Awesome video like always, I really like when you guys do the learning videos since I'm new to all this. Thanks, keep it up!
Detailed enough to learn, fast paced enough to not glaze the eyes. Excellent video.
Thanks!
Thank you. I have also heard a lot of hassles with atlas. This really clarified it. Awesome video. Learn something new everyday.
Videos like this are what made me a fan of this channel. I came across this channel right after you guys did the Hemi swap, and then the axles and RockKrawler suspension. These informative, and I could even go as far as saying educational, type videos are awesome for people looking to modify their Jeep(s). This particular video about the Atlas answers a lot of questions I had about it. So thank you for this type of content, with the added action of actual off-roading and the icing on the cake that is the absolutely adorable Jelly Belly!! Keep doing what you’re doing guys, I for one love it!
Love these kinds of videos super cool thanks guys.
Holy hell how tall is Steve!! Sick adapters and transfer case thanks for the demo and info!!
Great job. I have an Atlas and just learned a bunch. Thanks
Thank you so very much. I also thought it to be just confusing & more trouble than it's worth. Thanks to y'all I've been corrected. It's very useful & not confusing @ all. Y'all take care.
Awesome and totally timely. Thanks, Guys. My wife and I wheeled w/ Jake and Megan at Winter 4x4 Jamboree this past weekend. Stay safe out there. Looking forward to watching you two at KOH.
Great video guys! I actually learned quite a lot, even just about regular transfer case, very informative
Dig the video! Very informative.. need to start saving to put on in my jku
Thank you, Brittany, for explaining how neutral is like the clutch. I didn't understand how it worked when not in a manual.
Mine is on order for my ‘13 JK, should be here by the end of January. The shifting tutorial will come in handy, thank you!
The Atlas transfer case is where it’s at!! That thing is badass! I learned a lot about it in this video so thank you for that. Jelly is such a cutie patootie! Much love from Louisiana
Super informative and interesting. Love that you guys do stuff like this to help educate new and old wheelers. I’ve heard of atlas and have buddies with one, but only now completely understand what’s so special about them. And of course...now I have to have one 🤣 thanks always!
Great stuff as always. Worked on my xj transfer case NP231 when I installed my SYE. Thanks to Matt from Bleepn for that tutorial. Great explanation on the atlas 👍
Loved it and learned a lot
Not that it is not great to see you guys but man is it awesome to see the guys that make these things work. Very cool video. Thanks
Excellent informative video. Thanks
Really enjoy these in-depth design videos.
This was a really good video I enjoyed this tremendously
Jelly definitely had the kindergartner first day of school look 😂♥️♥️💯🤙
Oh my gosh, that’s so accurate! Haha 😅😅🐶🥺
Very educational. Thanks!
Great video! Love that twin stick transfer case! Thumbs up!
Thank you very much. I was thinking about getting one for the Gladiator.
This video was very very useful! I've been wanting an atlas myself for awhile. Will probably do it along with a v8 swap in the future.
Nice info vid. Always have heard and seen atlas transfer cases now I know all there is to know about them. Good stuff thanks yall
Super informative and great information !! TY
Great tutorial video!!♥️♥️💯🤙
Can't wait to get mine installed next Saturday. (on a JKU w L96 6.0 LS)
I used AA parts in the 1970's building race Jeeps and Broncos. The swap then was a 289 Ford or 283 Chevy. That made a wild machine compared to the stock 4 cyl. Great info and great memories!
This is why I work hard everyday so my jeep can have nice things. Great videos like always 👍👍👍
That was super cool to learn about an Atlas T-Case
I've wanted an Atlas for my trucks for as long as I can remember. This video was AWESOME. One day, if I'm lucky I'll be able to afford one for my 97 Powerstroke. Those cases are the best! Treat them right and they'll NEVER break. I use redline lubricants in my Harley trans. That stuff is the real deal!
Really enjoyed this video super educational!
Phenomenal video!!!
I've learned a lot from this video! Thank you!!
Very informative. I'm thinking about putting an atlas in my TJ when I do the LS swap. I've never had experience with one but figured it would keep the most available space for a longer drive shaft.
Wow! That case is a work of art.
Awesome VIDEO !!
I learned some interesting information. Thanks!
I got an Atlas in my 02 WJ......love it, but NOW........I know how to properly use it and not wrestle with the shifting. Great video!! I needed this, thanks !!
Steve looks like such a fun, good guy.
Great video guys.
Good educational video! thank you!
I love the ZJ! I really miss mine. It was a lot better than my current 4Runner.
What a great product to do a video on! 👍💪
But I want you 😆
that was an awesome video! Seems like that would make tight switchbacks (like on BB pass) much easier for my JT!
Great video THANKS!
Nice video! One thing to remember is you can't be in low range in one axle and high range in the other. That is why he says to always put the front in neutral before shifting the rear range.
Really loving these demonstration vids! Keep it up ;)
Super informative. Good vid.
Great video!! Thanks!!
Pool jelly...but she made new friends.....that was so informative and asweome....keep up the excellent work... egarly awaiting your next video
..Safe travels
That was freakin awesome! Very informative
Great explanation about how the Atlas works.
I just love your guys videos!! Very well mixed content & educational. Every time I watch I learn something whether it's what to do or Not to do! LOL
Both of you are great people and that's what we all need in this world these days!!
So Thank You Both for what you do!!
I appreciate it!! 💖✌👍
Poor jelly had that where are you going? Don't leave me pleeeeas!! Too funny 😂
Great video! Now I want one even more.
Great video!
Congratulations on being with Axial Racing guys. Another awesome video
Yea I had to click the notification for that Beautiful ZJ! 👍🏻 Hells Yea!
Oooooohhhhhh nice!!!! I have wanted one for years.
Nice video! I have a Atlas 4 speed from 2007. It was a early Atlas 4sp and Love it. I should probably take it out and get rebuilt. I can't say anything bad and looks cool with the twin sticks. I will say it makes cool noise in 4wd and sounds like a old flat fender. Jeep. Oh my second gearing is an electric shift so I don't have the 3rd shiftier. It was offered when they first came out but no longer available.
Love these videos.
Thanks Steve! Cheers!!
Great video thank you!
Very informative. Thanks
Kevin and Brittany, hope you'll get an Atlas in your JL. I have an Altas in a 98 XJ and our JK both. The XJ uses a direct mechanical linkage like that shown on your video and has always shifted easily even with a 5.0 low range. The JK was a little tougher to dial in with the cable linkage, primarily because it's very tight clearance wise with the floor pan. Once I finally got it adjusted properly it shifts well. Once you go Atlas there's no going back. Most of our wheeling only requires 2 wheel drive until you reach an obstacle so this greatly reduces wear, tear, and strain on drivetrain and steering.
Great educational video...when my ‘99 Jeep TJ needs a new transfer case it WILL be an Atlas transfer case
Cool stuff ..... Dig it..
Wooohoo great news on potential time table
Great informative video!! Jelly is so cute!!
This was great! My 4sp Atlas is supposed to arrive by March! 🤞
Excellent vid.
Awesome video! If you love off roading and this didn't do something for you then nothing will. And Kevin, I'm feeling your pain standing next to Steve. Dude had good camera presence, BTW. Very informative video, guys. Well done.
Well I DEFINITELY learned something new today 👨🏾💻
Love vidz like this.
This is awesome … 🙌🏻🙌🏻
We're all in a Fog! I've been wondering about the Atlas Tx case; now I know! "This little guy"- hilarious! Love his Jeep ZJ - I had one for 19 years. This is all a very shifty business; I'd have to learn to drive all over again! Gonna do the Shimmy with your gears? but that has no Bearing. Amazing the engineering and design work that goes into these; much respects! Jelly loves you people more than other dogs. LiteBriteNationAtlasShrugs!
Kevin makes me look small. The Atlas dude must be one huge dude!! Great learning video I loved it!
So I had a feeling that’s where you two were heading when I saw you on the 46 in Paso Robles. I was in the White Scat pack Charger. Spirited driving alongside Kevin!
Keep up next time ;)
this was an awesome video!
Great video, learned that every 4x4 without an atlas sucks... got it. lol 😆
Ok I NEED an Atlas for my Gladiator stat! 😂 It’s all about the front dig.
Especially on a vehicle that long!
@@LiteBrite YEP! It definitely would have come in handy a few times this last year. Come on Advanced Adapters hurry up! 😂
Great Video!
Would love an atlas in my 98 5.9 limited zj grand cherokee! Now that I really see how cool it is. That is crazy cool!
This video made Kevin look alot smaller than normal. lol
I have a Atlas 4 spd 3.8 3 stick in my 08jk still breaking in I feel still learning the shifting. but love the outcome with my 5/13 gearing
I actually just dropped my Dana 300 off this morning to be rebuilt.
