Yes I didn't know how important peace was until my marriage became a place of abuse and negativity. And all I wanted was peace because their is no peace where the devil dwells.

Whew! So true. Just walked away from a 3 year relationship today because he was that type of man. It hurts and I love him but I love me and my peace of mind more
Neathy and Regina, I understand totally! My almost two-year relationship ended last week because of our differences in key values. I sugggested couples therapy to work through our traumas, but he said that he doesn't have the bandwidth to process our relationship every day. There were a few prominent moments where he checked out mentally and emotionally during our relationship though he loved to say that he is attracted to my commitment to growth. Guess it was just that: MY commitment to growing. Well, no love lost here because I genuinely wish him well. I love him, yet I love myself and evolution more. My true life companion loves God and wants to have a fun-filled life of expansion in every way with me as we BOTH willingly and joyously align ourselves with God's Plan. I am deeply appreciative for this last experience. It clarified my values even more! .... Thank you for your fellowship, Ladies. Much appreciated during emotionally tricky times. 🙏🏾💜💪🏾😊

Lady Jade definitely spoke my truth of being afraid to choose poorly a second time and it not work out. I, too, love deeply. That hit me hard. To not trust yourself to make the right decision again is a real paralysis. Praying for Jade, myself, and others like us. Loved the video and what everyone added in this soroire.
I was actually there at this wonderful event but still watched this in full again. Jessica, Jade and Sam are the type of friends I pray God continues to connect me to. They are all so genuine and down-to-earth. I desire equally yoked relationships with my future husband and friends. So LIT🔥🔥🔥

Is it okay for me to cry now? I’m in a SELF LOVE Group right now and truly writing a blueprint for my own group and I watched this! Sooooooooo many gems in this video and I hate that I missed this event due to closing on my first home (Yay)! Latteras I could hug you on today for this video so I’ll tell my cousin Nikki to do so when she sees you! I am still healing from my last relationship but as I watched this I cut it off a few times to add to my journal and wrote this:
I don’t feel bad about my singleness these days because I did right by love, I did right by my ex, and I did right by GOD! I honor myself in this season of my life because I now understand that I’m single because I refuse to settle! I refuse to be seen as anything other than what God has told me I am! Lord I trust you and ask that you continue to bless EACH of US who have decided to honor you and respect us in Jesus name I pray, AMEN
Had a great time at this event for a beautiful cause. As a future Adoptive Mom, I wanted to support this event and treated myself to a fun self-love weekend in Dallas. Great job to all who were involved in the fruition of your vision for Kingdom Royale 😀💯👏🙏🏿
On that question about why men don't come to events on self care/self love, I think it also comes down to the fact that self care and self love conversations require vulnerability, openness, and honesty. In a lot of communities, especially for black men, being vulnerable is equated to weakness, so that pushes them away. And I also think that some men may not have matured in their emotional intelligence to be able to hold these conversations. So these type of events push them away because they don't want to go to that honest, vulnerable place.

Exactly!! This is why there’s this new term going around that refer to men that wanna do the work on themselves in other to be better for women as SIMPS.
“We can’t trust people, we have to trust God”………. I’ve learned to be ok with not being a sperm bank for someone because I was created to be a wife. I don’t even trust myself but with the work I know God has someone for me. Therefore, I choose singleness right now……waiting on My person. This Soirée had a great diverse panel and transparency. ❤️
My dad died on Valentine’s Day, and my daughter’s birthday is also that day.

Yes Jessica, it’s hard sometimes but it’s worth the wait! Men and Woman remain abstinent and wait as Jessica said for that real SOMEBODY, it’s ok to be by one self ( it’s a process ) peace is imperative because it gives one discernment. When one is alone especially if we are in God self evaluation, changing one’s flaws will open up who we really are then peace within will allow us to fall and grow more in love with ourself to become ready for that Special Someone.

And in single-ness. Peace of mind is a blessing from God. But yes, I imagine a peace less marriage must be torment.

Lol I'm socially awkward with men too! I literally get whiplash when men give me " the look " I turn my head away so quickly, my palms get sweaty and I giggle more than probably should 🙄😂😂😂 I'm 30 and I only had one boyfriend for a few months. He was my first best guy friend, turned roommate, turned tryship, turned father to my son. That was almost 8 years ago🤦🏾♀️ give me grace y'all lol😂😂😂

This segment was therapeutic for me. I believe we attract the reflection of how we perceive ourselves. We’re doing nothing but attracting the energy of our subconscious, and we cannot run from it. I can personally relate to Lady Jade, the heaviness of fear and broken heart WILL lift once she lets it go.🙏🏽

“I’m afraid…” “When you can’t trust yourself…” “Why didn’t I see?” ~ Lady Jade, you spoke my truth. I am terrified to the point of tears because I don’t trust that I will make the right decision to give my heart away. Yet, I completely trust God to do the decision making for me. He will be the love I never knew I needed because his love for me will cast out all fear. I am going to do it afraid when God aligns us to meet because I am doing the work to become the best version of me that I need me to be to trust God’s choice for me.

I missed this event, but I'm so glad I was able to watch it here! Listening to everyone had me in tears! I said these things and felt like a lot of them! I'm single because I've dealt with mess! I know my worth and I want better! I want something/someone sent from God! I get made fun of for being single, but I don't care because I have my peace! I look at the things others deal with just to say they have a man/woman and I wouldn't trade my situation for theirs! I'm NOT settling anymore! I get weary because I'm getting older, but I just continue to pray! It's very difficult at times! Sometimes I feel invisible...like God doesn't see me! I just continue to pray and ask that he prepare me for my purpose and my husband! If the latter is not in the cards for me...continue to give me strength to be single! Ty to everyone that got up there and were transparent about their lives! 🙏🏾
Everything Lady Jade said around 57:50ish. That fear can really get overwhelming, especially when you think you’re pretty smart in all areas except that love thing.
