Totally Chris. I recall the Pastor at a church I attended would invite the men and young men every third Sunday out to his vacation property. We purchase fish on the way and then when we got there we would cook it. It was an amazing time for fellowship, food and friendship. Then we got down to talking and I would hear stories of infidelity, abuse, you name it. As a young man, it was the most powerful experience I've had with a group of men. I so miss that experience. It was far impacting than me going to church. This podcast today reminded me of that experience.

Love how he went back to the exes apologising and praying for them, that was a serious prophetic action. Not only did he heal the wound that he created, but he stood in the gap for the other men who caused them harm. You stood in the gap for the male seed my brother!!! May Christ enlarge you everywhere you go.

As a divorced woman who was also married 20+ years this was so good. This really spoke to me . I’m so grateful to be in a place of wholeness. Single and whole. Celibacy is such a beautiful thing for me. Getting to know yourself after a divorce is a beautiful thing. We as human beings have made so many mistakes. We have had influences in our life that wasn’t the best people to have in our space. But when you can reflect, release, become a new person that’s the joy that God desires for us. Healing, Forgiveness, Repentance is very important to be a New , Happy, Whole person . This was awesome 👏🏽! Blessings to these two men and everyone whom can relate. It definitely blessed me. Old things have passed away, a new Creature was Birthed! Gerry story blessed my soul from speaking about his childhood to where he is at right now. It’s a Shaking and Shifting in the Atmosphere. This episode gave me a lot of closure in trying to understand the mind of a man who cheats on his wife or partner. Now I actually pray for him because I know that he was broken and he probably does have shame and regret.

It made me see and understand when a man who has made mistakes, acknowledges his wrongdoings, is remorseful and is no longer looking for fleshy fulfillment or the approval of cynic people... Smh...🙋🏾‍♀️
How beautiful it is to see God step into your life, right in the middle of your mess and bless you with another chance to get it right. And how God save you from your self and change your whole prospective & outlook, healing you from your core to the outer, now that is so beautiful and wonderful, as only God can do.
I pray that the both of you find your future wife and you get another chance to “Have and Hold Her.” Please continue your journeys to seek God first and his grace and mercy will forever be sufficient in your lives.
Now your new identity is “ Godfearing Man” continue to walk in that and finish the work on yourselves. Trust me, the best is yet to come.

This podcast is so beautiful. It confirmed something the Lord showed me in a dream a long time ago. My ex appeared in a dream I had, prior to the dream when we were in a relationship; he was very jealous and did not want me with anyone else but he didn’t do what was necessary to keep me but in the dream he told my spouse to be; “treat her the way she should’ve been treated” he walked away and then past away about a year or so after. This confirms how he was finally releasing me spiritually. My God 🙌🏼 Overall you are bringing such a strong message. Thank you, as a woman I am learning so much. God bless 🙏🏼

Watching Gerry become vulnerable and exposed regarding cheating on his wife and in other relationships, dug up the root of the bitterness I have felt for my exes. In this season of my life, I am working through the pain of what I have experienced so that I can become a clean slate for the man God has kept just for me. This episode has truly helped me to see that my prayers to be healed within will happen not just for me but for them as well.
I applaud you both for being bold, open, and transparent. I pray that you will continue to do the work that is vital for the transformation of lives for the Kingdom. This message was not just for the men who have cheated or continue to cheat. It was also for the women who have experienced the pain of their consequences. I will be praying that this episode becomes viral. There is true healing deep within the lessons learned here.

What an amazing podcast. I’m a divorcee six years in after a 40 year marriage. It has made me as a woman take a hard look at myself and repent.
Sometimes when we’re in pain, we are not considerate of the pain that we may be exacting on another or sometimes we don’t care at the moment.
I guess when you think of the scriptures in the New Testament regarding the woman who was brought to Jesus and Jesus said until the crowd “let him without sin cast the first stone“ none of us are sinless. Thank you again. I will share this with others as I believe it will bring healing and hopefully ignite the process of restoration to man and women.

Wow! As a woman married for 30 years and experiencing divorce because he would not stop the infidelity; today God has opened my eyes to his pain. I always looked at it intentional and today I release him and the pain for me and my sons to God. I did not truly understand. I’m so sorry for our black men that don’t get that approval. I’m so sorry that they are unwilling to be venerable. I’m so sorry that they do not know how to communicate. I did not know all of this either. I was willing to learn. I had to stop the emotional pain because he would not. I am so glad that I have found this additional help for my recovery from betrayal and divorce in these podcast. My heart leaps for joy and new revelation from God! God bless you and your guest for being LIT!!!!

This was amazing! Powerful lessons here. Many issues we face in adulthood begjn in the home with our parents and guardians... The need to feel loved, appreciated, approved and accepted. We start doing things and becoming less than we were meant to be just to compensate for what we lost or missed out. This podcast always reminds me to keep working on myself in this journey and that God is my why. Living intentionally and transparently. "God can't heal what you conceal." - Laterras (2021). I might end up writing a book right here because of the lessons I keep remembering. 😅😅😅
Thank you for another great episode! It's great to hear from the men what causes them to cheat and how it actually makes them feel like afterward. 🤝

It's OK to connect the dots of some of the causes of our negative behavior, some of which stems from childhood. But what makes us strong men and women is picking ourselves up and taking accountability going forward to right our wrongs and live enriched lives that honor God and others. Thanks for the podcast. Powerful segment, the part when he said he went back to mom hometown and released some stuff is what got me. I moved to Texas 7 years ago from Flint, Mi. I was divorced almost 2 years ago. I just had a chance to go back home and on that trip it was laid in my Spirit to go lay on the land where I grew up and release somethings, issues I had dealt with. I am so grateful to have heard this podcast in confirmation to what The Creator is doing in my life. So grateful this brother is choosing to heal and be better for the next woman. Thanks always great encouragement on this channel.

Great podcast! Powerful! Let me just say, I appreciate the transparency from both of you. I wish that more men (and I'm sure some women) understood this concept on the front end, prior to the damage being done. Honesty is always the best policy. I can only speak as a women who has been through some things, but men do not understand that the truth followed by an apology (genuine) goes a long way. Not only does it allow the person affected by your actions to make an informed decision, it allows you to let go of the guilt, shame, and veil of dishonesty. Thank you for the enlightenment on marriage vows too. I've never been married, but I will take the advice of looking at vows as an oath. It's important to understand something and not just recite it out of tradition. That makes perfect sense, lol.

Same. But he's a serial abuser. He's fresh out something and guilt ridden. The fact that he's on this show points to his strong need to "correct [himself] publicly" , the begging of his ex, and calling all the others ...but I've been with this kind of guy before. Hate to say it, he won't change. He's reading all these comments getting the praise he wants to feed his ego. His unseen actions will determine his effort. This public correctipn ain't it.
