Christian could be a whole practitioner for forgiveness. One could learn a lot from Christian, on the power of forgiveness. The fact that he didn't relive his childhood, via an adult, is amazing. May God continue to bestow blessings indefinitely.

My dear brothers, conversations like that, insights like that, inspirations like that are of utmost necessity for the whole humanity. I'm a woman and listening to this with such gratefulness. I feel that men starting to be able to come on that level of Connexion together is what the world dearly needs for a great healing. Because it feels very reassuring for a woman to simply know that 2 men can hold such a safe and loving space for one another, and therefore have that level of openness and vulnerability. Honestly, Christian's testimony makes me believe that there are really demons that walk among us. I don't understand what kind of human depravity would have someone doing something like this to a child. It's almost inconceivable. I'm so glad that you have miraculously managed to turn this childhood trauma into your ministry. I could hardly muster up the wherewithal to get through this interview.
His story is quite sad and unfortunate, and I'm glad that he was spared. He's truly a blessed man. Surely you've heard sick and sadistic stories of things done to children/ppl all your life, unless you weren't paying attention.

Not only is he physically beautiful, he is even better looking emotionally/intellectually. I got to get my heart right because I had visions of finding the people that would treat a child in such a way. I am in tears because our children are so innocent and to see or hear of them not being LOVED,, NUTURED as they so deserve, hurts. Nonetheless, the beauty, the courage, the fortitude to forgive TRUMPS all that has occurred. I thank him for giving us permission to be open and vulnerable and how freeing/beautiful it is, if you just embrace it.

I love Christian Keyes. The phrase "I didn't want nothing" to close a conversation is actually a tradition in the Black community and part of AAVE. I have heard it all my life and find myself using it more myself as I step into my own full Auntiehood. ✊🏿
I would buy his autobiography or self help book. Maybe he could even write a parenting guide for young black fathers. I only started following him a few weeks ago and embarrassing enough, I only did so to add a lil sexy to my daily scrolling. I wasn’t expecting any depth and definitely not someone so open, authentic and inspirational. I’ve been literally taking notes so that I can apply his copping methods to my own life. Moreover, he is always riding for our people unapologetically. I hope he inspires more young brothers to align themselves with his values.

Wow! Christian Keyes is not only intelligent and down to earth he's extremely handsome.
As a women I truly appreciate seeing men (grown men with a grown man mindset) being honest and transparent. At some point we've lost our way. We forgot how to connect with one another. Yes there were circumstances that facilitated the drift, but as we learn to push through it, lean on God for direction and understanding we can heal. Not just ourselves but our community and future generations. We need our Men of Color to be whole(spiritually, mentally emotionally and physically...in that order). Thank you for creating a safe space for men to shake the chains of a oppression.

This reminds me that we never know what someone has been through throughout their whole entire upbringing. I was a foster child growing up and trust me therapy does help. I am a strong advocate for mental health!
I wish you and anyone else that went through this didn't have to. It is horrible. I worked for Social Sevices for a little while. It took everything in me to not slap people into reality. You dont get the time back. How can you hurt children like this. There is a special place for them. I met a guy that went through it. It is alot to deal with.

First of all, I would like to say congratulations on how your career is exploding! Secondly, you’ve grown into a great man after such a horrible beginning! Thirdly, I wholeheartedly agree with you in regards to reading increases your vocabulary. I began taking my boys to the library. When they were young every summer there would be a competition as to who would read more books. Till this day, they both still enjoy reading books reading is one of my hobbies, as they say, reading, is knowledge.

I went to The School for Creative and Performing Arts with your Coffee co star Gabrielle Dennis here in Cincinnati OH 👏👍👌. She's a great actress and a nice person. There are a lot of famous folks who went to SCPA and are originally from Cincinnati!! I'm so sorry you had to endure that physical and mental abuse...no child should ever have to experience that kind of upbringing. You are the bigger man for excusing your adoptive parents for physically taking their anger out on you and your brother and your birth parents for physically and mentally rejecting you and your brother. The onlookers would never know you experienced that because you figured out how to hide your internal scars and dry your tears 😟😢😟😢. I'm so sorry Christian...any kind of abuse is unacceptable period!!!! Anyway on a happier note...feel free to wish me a happy 47th B Day on the 23rd of this month 🎂🎉🎊🎈🎁. This was a really good interview and to learn Christian and I have been through some of same things in foster care was very brave of him to tell. Not everyone can talk about those types of experiences without still feeling traumatized. Thank God he was able to forgive and let love in heart be the ruler. I love how transparent he was with what happen to him at young age about his adoption family that's so sad what happened to him and his brother But all what he went through it's didn't make him bitter, but it made him better and what devil meant for evil God turned it's around for his good, God bless his latter days more than his beginning. Where do you find smart (intelligent) men like this, nice to the eyes, can laugh and smile. Forgiving the devils ppl. It's very hard to forgive ppl that doesnt want to be forgiven, reason saying this if a person wants to be forgiven how or why would they keep hurting you. But where is God's true ppl? Some talk God but they are so far far away from Godly behaviour. They do things that show you they arent Gid's ppl. These two seem to be nice men that know how to have fun. Not being liars and wanting to hurt ppl. Thank God for men like this, wish more men could be like these two. Wishing them the best!

I'm glad you were able to forgive your mother. You have have a lot of humility in your heart to forgive . It was nobody but God, that got you through it .

I as a woman of God now 🙏 understand what you shared about forgiveness and being abused. When hearing about all the abuse you went through brought tears 😢 to my eyes.
