Detest is the best word to describe how millions of American citizens feel about 45. I used to think ....hate. but that is giving him too much energy! Disgust is another good descriptor. Every time Governor Cuomo mentions how many lives were lost in NY, his voice cracks with emotion and grief. Ttump's response: "It is what it is". Cold SOB.

When I first saw the clip I thought it was bad sound mixing that the music was so loud, then I realised what they were playing. I'm sure it went over Trump's head that the music was so loud no one could hear him, not that he was saying anything coherent, and the song was aimed at him. Well played factory workers!

Coronavirus Task Force - It doesn’t matter, they don’t seem to be doing anything anyway. They barely even talked at the briefings and when they did, they weren’t saying anything useful. Pence just kept parroting what Trump was saying and Trump was just contradicting his experts...
It's probably that Trump has told them he's the expert and they must listen to him. Of course if he doesn't listen to them, he'll think he can dispense with them, but someone must have pointed out to him that he'll have no scapegoats to blame for his ineptitude if he gets rid of them. Inept leaders excuse is always that 'they are following the science' though in Trump's case he'd say he doesn't need experts because nobody knows more about controlling pandemics than he.

Watching you with your family brought tears of gratitude to my eyes. Evie did GREAT with the Mother’s Day cards and so did you.
My 16 year old son’s staying with his grandma up the road since my father died, so I’m all alone, accept when I run out for take out. He plays piano and guitar for her.
It’s hard and you help and I’m grateful. But sometimes, I feel like this small pleasure is loosing its opacity. Thank G-d for vicarious enjoyment!
