But the test is only good for short amount of time. Could walk right out and get it again. I'm no Trump fan but I don't see what a test does but give authorities something to go on at that moment to trace and quarantine. But in terms of assuring me someone doesn't have the virus, not much help. I don't see how that qualifies as the dumbest thing he's ever said.

This disease is not all that easy to catch, and if people practice safe distancing and wear masks, and take precautions there is absolutely no likelihood that you will catch it minutes or hours after taking the test. Unless you are irresponsible and stupid, for example attending multiple meetings and not taking precautions (as clearly she did).
It is ridiculous to say tests are worthless just because it is possible to catch the virus, and is a perfect excuse for governments who do not have a solid testing regime. Like the US does not, nor the U.K.

So, what was the crime Obama committed? What newspapers published it?
Also, the reporter call-out .. here's how it played out.
He replied to the Asian reporter, and it came across racist. The mic was killed while Trump was speaking, so the Asian reporter had no opportunity to voice her concerns on his reply until the next journalist came up. The next journalist was kaitlin collins from CNN. When the mic came back on, Kaitlin let the Asian reporter voice concerns over the question. Trump got annoyed at her insinuating he was being racist. So, per his modus operandi, he just interrupted her. Then once he realized Kaitlin was the next up, he shut her down, too, b/c he hate CNN, calls it "Fake news", and didn't want to answer any more real questions. The next person he pointed to was a reporter from OAN, one of the media stations that loves to stroke his ego and lob him easy questions that make him look good. Kaitlin tried to interrupt to get her questions, wondering why she was being shut out. It was because Trump had already decided he was done with real questions and wanted to get "good" sound bytes for his Fox / OAN channels. Kaitlin kept pressing, so he once again took his ball and stick and went home.
In no way did Trump feel like he was in trouble. On the contrary, him walking off .. he thinks he's punishing everyone by denying them the opportunity to bask in his glory. That's how a narcissist thinks.
Some folks feel that the reporters should be more polite to Trump, but respect is a two-way street. He has been continually disrespectful in the way he answers questions, tells half-truths or lies, and talks down to certain reporters. The POTUS should not be given automatic respect. The POTUS has to earn it like the rest of us. He is constantly doing things to lose it.

I am sorry but I disagree with the idea some people have of being polite. Some decorum yes, politeness not necessarily. The reporters' job is to help the population "speak truth to power" by uncovering and presenting FACTS to us. With former Presidents, politeness was given because it was received. With this moron, all they get is rudeness and patented answers that make him look and sound good and on the ball. I think the reporters need to help each other better. If one asks a question and he doesn't give a good answer, the next one should ask it again and so on until they get a proper answer to the question. Or... drive him absolutely crazy so he strokes out on stage. (sorry personal wish jumped in at the last minute)
In no way was either CBS or CNN reporter rude. They are women, one is ethnic Asian. That was why he called them rude. OAN repirter has asked questions in which premise is factually incorrect. His comments to CNN repirter about tests for the general population were split on. Kids in German high schools take a test every morning before school. Why not have that here?
