I watched the vods, and when Skurry said that they didn't want to go looking around the map for that last pale ore, I cried so hard. Just immense pain filled my body.

honestly something that really helped me with the watcher nights was getting (spoilers?) Descending Dark and shamen stone. absolutely tears through their health.

15:59 i honestly thought this on my first play-through. it made me think that i was the one who spread the plague by picking up that charm, i felt so guilty.
on my next play-through, i avoided that little place.. and i even killed that big bug (15:52) every-time i saw them because i was afraid they may spread the infection by breaking that wall.
then i learned about radiance and felt not so bad :)

You know what would be interesting? If all the soul totems in Path of Pain were randomized as well.

The randomizer can be scary with certain settings, because if you don't disable the Palace Totems then necessary items can spawn as path of pain totems, meaning you'd have to go through the path of pain without totems. And since Grimmkin Flames are also swapped, if you get 3 flames before doing any of the grimmkin fights then the items you may get from them are gone.
