That's a great addition for long distance touring. I used mine on a 4,000 miles trip last year and it saved me so much pain. They are very easy to break though, I got a knockoff set on Amazon two for eight dollars. First one snapped when I was taking it off a little to aggressively.
Thanks for your comment! I like mine for on road, but it has gotten in the way off road. Easy solution to that though - adjust it downward when off-road. Only takes a second to do. Once you are ready to get back on the road, just flip it back up.
I had one of your bikes. Miss it. There’s another style of cruise control that you flick over to the front to jam against the brake to hold the throttle in place which looks interesting. I sold the X because I like more torque but it was a really great bike. I had the same colour. Versatile is no joke

I've been using one of these Cramp Busters for about a year. It helps and for the price it is a solution that doesn't cost much.
