I'm green as hell!!!! Is there any other videos u recommend watching so i can learn more especially all the names of the equipment and their functions maybe some troubleshooting tips. And I heard u say something about maybe some classes I could take
Well we had about eight people that did the pumper position we all had a cell phone that had an alert system when the Pressure was low or water was getting to high
It helps to have a little bit of experience in roustabout First then the pumper If you want to because roustabout and can be a pain in the ass but it is rewarding if you get the knowledge you can move up to pumper
What about Lease Pumper School?
Oh my God when you’re fixing to get off in the damn pressure will not build up and you find out it’s a leak in a 4 incher Hope and pray to God that the patch works out😂😂😂
I’ve been in a hot oil truck for over two and a half years now and have a buddy go is a pumper. How much does hot oiling benefit my chances in getting hired as a pumper?
I know this video s a bit old but I was wondering if there is some/any women who do lease pumper/operator work. I first heard about it from a woman so I assume it was more women who did it. I am enrolling in the NMJC course and wanted to find out more from people who actually do the work. Thanks!
When the water levels Are highThe salt water pump definitely has some kind a leak issue got to be careful on the porcelain pistons
We need you boys out there there’s a leak in the line and it’s down in some creek that’s flooded something crazy is that not to mention now days They replaced the injection lines with some type Pipe I forgot what material it is
How beneficial is it for them to hire an experienced NG compressor mechanic? I can pretty much overhaul a compressor from the ground up (including driver, cooler, end devices, tubing, electrical, piping), and am looking to make a change. Just pretty much wanting to know if my experience will help, if so how much. Thanks Mike
100% you would be a huge benefit in a gas lifting field; most lease operators have a general knowledge but that’s it. Would be a great asset for the team IMO.
make more videos bro
Will get on it bud
I am moving to Colorado around February. Any news, or new stuff going on out there?
Haven’t heard anything however I know it’s kicking off North of Denver toward Wyoming.
What is the typical work schedule for well testers & lease operators? Days off?
Saul Cardoza I work 4 on 2 off
I’ve worked a lot of different hitches. Mainly 8/6, 7/7 and 14/14 for onshore guys. Offshore most likely 28/28
What if it was not said 😮
Hello, my name's Chris. I'm looking for a job in the Bakken. I would like to do something like well tester/ flow back operator. I don't have any experience in production. Would I definitely have to take the night shift to get started? Or are there any other related positions that I could apply for that are day shift?
As a well tester with no experience you will be on nights unless it’s possibly a multiwell pad with another experienced tester on site. Thing is the day guy is over the overall job and it’s “your well” until turned over to production. Might want to try a contract lease operator job or even roustabout job if day/night shifts are deal breakers.
@@Jankycattlecompany Thank you
Oh yeah those separators get clogged upThen that’s when the roustabout comes in to play LOL it’s all fun
