100% agree! I had no choice in the song for my semi finals. I really didn’t like his version of it but I was contracted in. If you see what I did to green days basket case in my audition - that’s what I wanted to do again but bringing in the guitar etc.
I rewatch that first audition a lot, to be honest I didn't quite appreciate the lyrics of basket case until I watched and heard your version.
