@@chelsiirvine8970 Connie is a sweet child with a sweet voice. There are multitudes of sweet children with sweet voices. Just because she is young and cute doesn’t mean she should win. Mr Potts practiced singing for years, in a foreign language l might add. This shy and humble man fought his way into the hearts of so many people, an amazing accomplishment. If Connie keeps singing for several years, we will then have an opportunity to follow her and see the calibre of her talent.

child,that robbed him of his self confidence, the
way it has for so many....A lack of self confidence
tends to make you quieter...and have difficulty
accepting compliments.......

Coming from a non-confident personality, that is quite typical.
this win was for all of us that lack self confidence due to bullying. Paul showed us what is possible and throughly deserved the win!
What makes this guy a winner is not only his lovely voice or charming personality, but the fact that he went out of his comfort zone and fought his shyness to become an example for us, people with hidden talents and normal lives, to be and do better than what is expected from us.

10 years after and Paul is nearly as humble today as he was in 2007. Truly a frog prince or a little lump of coal becoming a diamond, as unbecoming as both of those symbolisms are.

From Houston, Texas...I do not know why...but this simple man captures my emotions everytime he sings...This week he appeared in New York, I stayed home to see him even then. Now I find myself looking for videos of his performances during the competition. Thank You all.

It's like his eyes are speaking, he drifts into his own beautiful fantasy world when singing. I adore the way he emerges into his song lyrics, he always looks so solemn and sincere.

I saw Paul Potts on here after BGT had started there. So when i saw One Chance on netflix i watched and teared up near the end of the movie. Paul Potts deserves all the success he gets.

At 1:51 he looked even more nervous than on his audition lol, and his reaction when they announced him the winner at 2:00 was priceless. He performed without flaw and earned this win.

Paul's story still makes me cry whenever I watch the vids of his journey on BGT. He deserves everytnhing life has to offer him and I know he'll pay it back in spades. The movie biopic "One Chance" is quite a wonerful reminder, and Paul bdubs for the actor playing him, which is super-cool!
