Here's my theory, Homelander plays both sides for fulls to try and become president. After he gets the boys headquarters blown up by the secret service or something he breaks into the white house and kills Neuman who at some point killed Dakota bob to become the president. After he kills president Neuman in this state of emergency through his followers he takes control of the country non officially. Then season 5 could be Homelander filling important roles with supe loyalists and the finale to the show could be called operation overlord as they have to kill the tyrant Homelander
This is probably tied with breaking bad for me for favorite television series of all time and I don’t even like superhero movies. Absolutely amazing writers and fantastic amounts of detail and social commentary.

Chances are they’ll go down the comic root, in the comics homelander goes rogue and basically makes an army of supes and literally tries to take over America (of course he fails because the boys exist)
They're kind of setting that up considering Victoria Neuman is being prepped to be VP, and likely the President if they can dispose of Bobby Singer and then she becomes a puppet for Vaught similar to her comic counterpart Victor Neuman (Who was a very transparent George W Bush analog). Of course this doesn't last long as Homelander attempts a coup, decapitates Neuman and has sex with his skull.
I think these are the last 2 seasons, this one it seems like Homelander will go super crazy and kill a lot more people leading into season 5 where he is killed at the end. That is my prediction
Literally my prediction, I feel like season 4 will build it up until the final episode where Homelander just says fuck it then starts killing everyone and ends on a cliffhanger maybe a cliffhanger might show The Boys watching the news and we see Homelander with his new Supe army and a lot of destruction I just imagine that as our cliffhanger.
I doubt they have the guts to kill him, they'll just make him hurt to a point he will just be a vegetable like storm front and then they leave it as him slowly reviving and someday returning for revenge.

Nah, you can't fully redeem Homelander, especially not by having him kill a child that he took and moulded into what he'd become. Ryan as a character would be difficult to make into a psychopath, since he doesn't have the same background as the borderline/unstable and callous Homelander. Since he's still a child a more realistic scenario would be that due to his social isolation thus far, the crowd behind him and Homelander approving of him would mean a lot to him. So he'd begin doing questionable things not out of some vile impulse, but from a need to please the crowd. Almost the reverse of Homelander prior, who had vile impulses and only kept them in check because of the public's opinion of him. First his mother began questioning the things Homelander was teaching him, then he accidentally kills her. Butcher constantly disapproves of him and acts cold to him, and immediately jumps to Homelander out of a need for approval and acceptance. He'd be very vulnerable to public perception just as Homelander is. It'd be very interesting to see something like Ryan and Homelander having a wedge driven between them out of a need to be the crowd favourite, but I don't see that happening with the current direction and the fact that they're the same "brand" as a father-son team.

I don’t think redemption is possible at all. This a man who list of crimes and disgusting acts are so extensive that nothing good he could would make up for it. Even if he teams up with the boys it will certainly only be temporary. Butcher can’t and will never let go of what happened and if Ryan dies before his dad which is what I think will happen then all bets are off.
I mean there was a tiny team up with homelander and the boys in the finale where both butcher and homelander fought against soldier boys so maybe it could be referencing a later team up
Yeah, I liked season 3 but one thing that bothered me about it was it made me really doubt that he could actually take over everything if he wanted Like, 3 or 4 other sups seems to be all it takes
Billy’s wife cheated on him & Homelander took advantage of her until she didn’t want to cheat any longer. Billy is dying, once he learns this, Butcher takes the perma compound V & becomes the next Homelander.
I imagine they will implement that one deleted scene from season 2 at some later point in the story, so either next season or the 5th which is supposedly the last one. You know the one...
If anything we can expect from Homelander is that he is now at the top of his game as there is hardly anyone who can challenge him. There will be fallout as people who be talking about how Homelander killed that protestor. However he will soon realise that he cannot manage Vought and is going to drive it to the ground.
He is 10 times worse than Homelander. Homelander is such a terrible person because of literal war crimes and crimes against humanity committed to him when he was an INFANT. Soldier Boy was ALWAYS a bully, even before gaining power. He has no excuse or reason (aside from parental trauma he experienced) - he just is
Maybe a combination of 2 and 3? Homelander sees potential in running for president, Neumann starts to smear him and ruin his campaign. Homelander goes to the Boys for help taking her down, maybe they'll ask that he grant them access to huge volumes of info on Supes in exchange. Would mean that they'd have to co-exist - i can't see butcher sitting back as Homelander becomes president - but maybe they're persuaded somehow. Maybe homelander would offer butcher permanent compound V, so he can be a continuing threat and keep homelander from misbehaving too strongly?
actually not a bad theory. Homelander already admitted to Butcher he likes their cat and mouse games in season 3 when he visited his house, he likes having an arch nemesis. I think homelander redemption is very likely this season with him running for president but the twist is going to be Ryan causing mass destruction and Homelander trying to control him, but failing as it's implied Ryan is supposed to be stronger than Homelander. Also wouldn't be good if soldier boy breaks out and somehow works with Ryan trying to get payback on everyone. Could be a wild season.
True. And him being whatever he is… is not at all his fault. The atrocities committed against him are so vast and large that ANYBODY in our human race would become completely mental and feral. Completely psychotic. Bright-burn level of unhinged. Homelander turned out to be pretty decent, all things considered. Yes, totally an emotionally immature and unstable “man child”, but nowhere near as bad as most humans would turn out as. Imagine yourself: Deprived of any and all human comfort/emotional interaction until teens; Solitary Confinement MOST OF YOUR CHILDHOOD; Being assigned a manipulative older woman to molest you, resulting in a very toxic and messed up “relationship”; Brutal torture (think Solider Boy in Russia, except done to a BABY by Vought); Being forced to fight other (then stronger) mature meta-humans as a BABY; No offense, but only somebody with Superman-level of purity of heart can endure all of that and turn out seemingly-sane (even if emotionally underdeveloped). Most/all people would be Brightburn 2.0 after a HALF of that compound effect.
I’d say he’d do the same as he did as a kid. Push his boundaries and see what he can get away with. This time it’s from the public and eventually he’ll get to the point where nobody can defend him but he’ll just get mad and say they’re wrong, they’re stupid, and he can do whatever he wants when he’s gotten too comfortable. As well as just do whatever will please his personal crowd, he’ll he’d probably kill the president like the comics if they don’t like the government and that might be the “we can’t defend him” point and he’ll blame them for misleading him when they didn’t want a coup. He’d also teach Ryan what they both can get away with, making Ryan the bright burn kid with the sadism of a school bully knowing there’s no teacher to help anyone. I also hope Stan actively works with the boys against HL since HL doesn’t really like Stan and Stan’s career is still fcked. It could also flesh Stan out more. But then again, the boys aren’t exactly that secret anymore and Stan is gonna be figured out. Basically S4 is just HL sticking to whatever echo chamber he’s got and gets mad at them for finally disagreeing
Homelander just doesn't have a realistic endgame without mass pushback, as Butcher and Homelander have agreed, Scotched Earth. I hope they don't milk it though, I have to be honest there have been some episodes throughout The Boys run where I feel like it was padded out.
Imagine Homelander runs for president and says something like vote for me and I will give you superpowers. It would make sense because he sees people with no super powers as ants.
Regarding the redemption arc for homelander. Something I though would be kinda cool is homelander losing his powers and having to live a normal life and find his humanity without powers. Something like that probably wouldn’t happen until like the last season of this show tho.
@@username.exenotfound2943 That clone was not a better clone of Homelander. It was his polar opposite. He was stronger and more potent/powerful, but significantly weaker and less durable. Also incapable of flight and a plenty of other powers. Black Noir (comics) was definition of glass cannon. Good enough to cave in Homelander’s chest (since Homelander’s greatest strength is his durability), but nowhere versatile or useful enough. Black Noir (comics) was a disposable trump-card that was not MEANT to survive the encounter - just to mutually suicide/kill one another. The fact that he DID survive (albeit in a very gory and messy state) proves that he was more durable/resilient than anticipated, but only to an extent. So, in comics, Black Noir was not a “better” Homelander. He was a “roided” Homelander, being just stronger but suffering 20+ health complications because of it.
I think Victoria is so much worse than Homelander.. I mean really, Victoria head popped so many people, and not only got away with it, but she did it for such a small reason..
Not only would Homelander refrain from murdering anyone if it compromised his public image, he would, without a doubt, kill anyone either in his way or even to get more attention.
I posted this on reddit a few hours ago, but I think Ryan will end up the main villain being even stronger than Homelander and Homelander will team up with the boys to fight a Newman and Ryan combo.
Hot take: Homelander shouldn't die at the end of the show - he should somehow lose his powers instead, but stay alive long enough to give us a look at who he becomes once he's a powerless, vulnerable, normal human being with none of the qualities that made him Homelander. Would be the most fascinating way to eventually wrap up his character arc after exploring his psyche a bit more in season 4/5, in my opinion.
That is like taking Stephen Hawking and performing lobotomy on him to take his advantage away. Ruins the character completely. Homelander became what he is IN EXCHANGE for being: Parentless childhood. That messes up people VERY much; Held in solitary confinement until his adulthood (most ADULTS go insane after a few months, and he had to endure that for most of his youth); Brutally tortured by older supes beating on him; Experimented Soldier-Boy style by Vought; Manipulated by an older mature female molester; Was brainwashed to pursue “American interests” (what is good for Vought, not any morals at all)…. Etc. Homelander, as a character, may be the biggest victim of the show. His powers were developed IN EXCHANGE of his personality, as a defense mechanism. Homelander is akin to a feral kid going monstrous to survive, and then attempted to be reunited with a society (except he is doing MUCH better than what an average person subjected to all these atrocities would behave as). I understand your rage-boner due to him being a despicable man and a bully, but you are nearsighted in terms of narrative. Homelander character IS unhinged power. Homelander is essentially “what if Clark Kent was raised as a celebrity by monopolistic, corrupt, late-stage capitalist company”. Undoing 99% of his character is not justice or a good “twist”. That is simply deleting a character.
@@kingol4801 “i understand your rage-boner” dog hes my favorite character i’ve ever watched on a TV screen stop projecting what ever weird shit you’ve seen people say onto me it was a super simple premise - you strip away power from a character whose entire identity revolved around it towards the end; sounds a bit more intriguing to me than just killing him & i feel like there’s a lot you could explore with it, but it seems you’re the armchair writing expert here so my bad you spent like 20 minutes sweating up an essay cause you made a shitload of assumptions about my personal interpretations of the show but i just wanna see the most entertaining & thought-provoking art, not some kind of weird fictional retributive justice. take a breather my guy
@@kingol4801 How the hell is removing his powers deleting his character but killing him isn't? Especially at the end of the show? Its far more interesting than him getting murdered by Billy or a clone of himself (like in the comic). Do you just want the show to end with homelander getting no punishment for his murders, assaults and r@pes? Imagine simping for a character this much...what a weirdo
the only way I can see his redemption is if by some miracle he'd open his eyes and realize his son's life is more important than his own and he would sacrifice himself to save him. but that's Homelander so it really seem unlikely xd
What if Stormfront turns out to be Homelanders mom? She was married to the founder of Vought so she was a pretty big part of the company and Solider Boy (his dad) was one of their strongest and most popular hero's they had back then plus both did have a small fling in the past. I imagine Vought harvested one of her eggs and used Solider boys seed to try to create the ultimate hero. Think about it Homelander does have his dads strength and Stormfront does have the ability to fly, his laser eyes could be a small mutation from her ability to shoot lightning. If that's the case and Homelander finds out that he was hooking up with his mom, then i think that's either gonna be or bring him extremely close to his breaking point.
That guy's name is Robert Singer. The actor played in the series Supernatural, playing the character Bobby Singer. I find that halrious. I would love mashing the two together....but it won't happen, I know
I had a bad feeling that homelander could kill a lot of innocent people in a massacre with to much gore and blood and the heroes might fight him just to finish him up for being a murder
I hope this show doesn’t over stay it’s welcome. And I love the show, but I also loved the walking dead and supernatural. I hope by the end of season 4 he finally snaps and begins the war. Then season 5 is the entirety of the non-supes vs the supes (Homelander’s army). Edit: Season 5 being the last season.
They need to get Ryan away from Homelander ASAP. Ryan killed his own mother. And then being raised by Homelander. He could end up even worse than his father. I know Ryan’s presence in Homelander’s life seams to be making him better, but nothing will ever stop Homelander from fucking destroying everything.
I definitely don't think homelander could ever have a redemption arc, he's way too far gone, and I don't think that's the most compelling story line for him. Even Antony Starr said he doesn't think he should be redeemed.
Theory SB succeeds in blasting Homelander, resulting in him losing his powers. Then Butcher dukes it out with Homelander as a normal human being. Butcher beats the crap out of him. Because SB is still alive, why would they keep him alive if he didnt have a use. The big threat he poses is taking away supe powers.

I imagine they will implement that one deleted scene from season 2 at some later point in the story, so either next season or the 5th which is supposedly the last one.
You know the one...
Considering Homelander's mental state, It's gonna be fucking diabolical.
If anything we can expect from Homelander is that he is now at the top of his game as there is hardly anyone who can challenge him. There will be fallout as people who be talking about how Homelander killed that protestor. However he will soon realise that he cannot manage Vought and is going to drive it to the ground.
I want to homelander have a redemption arc and live a happy life beside your son
Congrats on 1 million 🎉
Pray to god Soldier Boy returns.
Amen
He is 10 times worse than Homelander.
Homelander is such a terrible person because of literal war crimes and crimes against humanity committed to him when he was an INFANT.
Soldier Boy was ALWAYS a bully, even before gaining power. He has no excuse or reason (aside from parental trauma he experienced) - he just is
I'm pretty sure it's confirmed he's reprising his role
Hello! Sorry to bother you! Great work! in scorched Earth 4k short video which music track did you use? Thank you in advance!
after season 3 i'm really keen to see more of black noir
Yo can I ask what mic do you use?
He is so damaged emotionally he makes the perfect insane hero
Imagine yourself:
Deprived of any and all human comfort/emotional interaction until teens;
Solitary Confinement MOST OF YOUR CHILDHOOD;
Being assigned a manipulative older woman to molest you, resulting in a very toxic and messed up “relationship”;
Brutal torture (think Solider Boy in Russia, except done to a BABY by Vought);
Being forced to fight other (then stronger) mature meta-humans as a BABY;
No offense, but only somebody with Superman-level of purity of heart can endure all of that and turn out seemingly-sane (even if emotionally underdeveloped).
Most/all people would be Brightburn 2.0 after a HALF of that compound effect.
@@kingol4801 I love that one big explanation dude
there are 2 endings to the show
1. Homelander is dead
2. Everyone else is dead
Love the new video template cookie
I can expect him and Negan not getting along
That or they make a hell of a bond
Homelander=Sigmalander
Homelander fire🔥🔥
Great video but what is the game in the background?
Homelander just doesn't have a realistic endgame without mass pushback, as Butcher and Homelander have agreed, Scotched Earth.
I hope they don't milk it though, I have to be honest there have been some episodes throughout The Boys run where I feel like it was padded out.
Imagine Homelander runs for president and says something like vote for me and I will give you superpowers. It would make sense because he sees people with no super powers as ants.
Suggestion.
You can make peaky blinder shorts videos cause it's like breaking bad and the boys and like the walking dead
Regarding the redemption arc for homelander. Something I though would be kinda cool is homelander losing his powers and having to live a normal life and find his humanity without powers. Something like that probably wouldn’t happen until like the last season of this show tho.
Im just curious if theyll reintroduce black noir as a homelander clone
They already confirmed months ago that a new Black Noir will take the old one’s place and will be a lot more talkative and cheerful
@@soggalann8407 i hope it isnt a better clone of homelander because then its too similar to the comics
Someone attacks your kid, you go into kill mode pretty quick and it takes some time to snap out of it.
Homelander became what he is IN EXCHANGE for being:
Parentless childhood. That messes up people VERY much;
Held in solitary confinement until his adulthood (most ADULTS go insane after a few months, and he had to endure that for most of his youth);
Brutally tortured by older supes beating on him;
Experimented Soldier-Boy style by Vought;
Manipulated by an older mature female molester;
Was brainwashed to pursue “American interests” (what is good for Vought, not any morals at all)….
@@kingol4801 “i understand your rage-boner” dog hes my favorite character i’ve ever watched on a TV screen stop projecting what ever weird shit you’ve seen people say onto me
it was a super simple premise - you strip away power from a character whose entire identity revolved around it towards the end; sounds a bit more intriguing to me than just killing him & i feel like there’s a lot you could explore with it, but it seems you’re the armchair writing expert here so my bad
you spent like 20 minutes sweating up an essay cause you made a shitload of assumptions about my personal interpretations of the show but i just wanna see the most entertaining & thought-provoking art, not some kind of weird fictional retributive justice. take a breather my guy
Early to a Nebraska classic
Some awkward milk related scenario lol couldn't get better than the last one 😅
Do if Shane was never a bad guy in the walking dead
the only way I can see his redemption is if by some miracle he'd open his eyes and realize his son's life is more important than his own and he would sacrifice himself to save him. but that's Homelander so it really seem unlikely xd
He's just setting a Target on his back
What if Stormfront turns out to be Homelanders mom?
That would sound exactly like what would happen
I can’t wait until season 4 😅
That guy's name is Robert Singer. The actor played in the series Supernatural, playing the character Bobby Singer.
I find that halrious. I would love mashing the two together....but it won't happen, I know
I know it’s been a little while but happy 1m
He’ll be a bad bad guy
What mic do you have?
Looks like Black Noir is back too.
I hope soldier boy comes back... they did him dirty with the finale battle...
wanna see soldier boy back
Homelander is going to appear in court for murdering the protestor
Wait...even black noir is on stage?!! Wait
It's more likely for Stan Edgar to join the boys just to get revenge
if homelander starts going off ecause he can do what ever he wants i think that when they create black noir(HL version) to stop him. who knows
Again how is Black Noir still alive?
He’s the fucking Homelander and he can do whatever the fuck he wants
Glad season 4 filming is wrapped up but I wonder when they’re gonna release it
Probably late 2023 or early 2024
i should start watching this show. when is s4?
correct me if im wrong but is that farcry 3 game play?
I think Stan Edgar is a secret supe.
imagine he gets redeemed and then killed unceremoniously but super duper shockingly
bro i never seen this in the walking dead season 4
What’s been basically foreshadowed since season 02.
The ultimate tantrum.
Bro playing far cry 6 in the background
I love Homelander!
What game are you playing on 7:40
You totally forgot homelander doesnt care anymore about backlash. As he told starlight to release the video.
Is it possible that Stan Edgar is a supe
Im ngl… the guy is about to snap
Black noire Is alive???
I don't see homelander and the boys very likely. No way that butcher will forgive him
Butcher should not live long enough.
More heads popping, of course 🤪
a think in the final season all the sups is going to lose their power cause of soldier boy power ( they will descover weapon or cure with his power )
