why do felons lose the right to vote but a candidate can become president with a felony -- what gives?

NDA's are not illegal, and the jurisdictional flaws are obvious. You may think it's "ok" to allow this to happen because you may dislike Mr. Trump, but the big picture here is not about Mr. Trump, it's about the corruption currently in Government to facilitate such a miscarriage of the laws of this country.

@@forreststump11 , Trial courts in Illinois, Maine & Colorado ruled that Trump engaged in insurrection. The congressional Jan. 6 Select Committee concluded he incited the insurrection, all in addition to what he's said & done publicly. The SCOTUS only ruled that states don't have authority to remove a candidate for president from the state ballot, it didn't rule that he's not an insurrectionist. Also, the crime of insurrection includes some of the crimes he is charged with in Special Counsel Jack Smith's case against him in D.C. Those convicted of engaging in the Jan. 6 rebellion weren't charged with insurrection, they were charged individually with the specific element of insurrection that they engaged in, i.e. trespassing, assault, obstruction, property damage, aiding and/or abetting the insurrection or insurrectionists. Trump doesn't deny he supports the Jan. 6 insurrectionists, calls them "hostages," would pardon them if president, as he did others who conspired with him, like Bannon & others. He doesn't have to be convicted of insurrection in a court of law to be an insurrectionist. His conduct before, during & after Jan. 6 has established that he's an insurrectionist.

Under Biden lowest unemployment in history, fastest economic recovery of any industrialized country post Covid, 200 million Americans vaccinated in 100 days, wages outstripping inflation, fifteen million new jobs created, passed the inflation reduction act and infrastructure bill. Under Trump, worst record on Covid of any industrialized country, highest unemployment numbers in history, fastest drop in GDP on record, increased the national debt by 8 trillion dollars, with 84% going to the wealthiest 1%, and corporate interests and 0.04% going to working families.
