And when the Oakland-Texas game ended and we saw the score, it felt like a punch in the gut. The crowd gave a standing ovation to the team at that moment and the players must have learned that they weren't going to the playoffs then. It was really sad but a proud moment because they were so close to doing it.

If you want to go a little deeper I think his masterpiece is 17776 which is a multimedia work of fiction that I adore with it's sequel, 20020, finally coming out this year 3 years after the first one. It was a great time getting to watch you find joy in something that I love deeply and if you want I'm sure you would have a great time with more of Jon's work.

It was likely his final at bat in Seattle (Before we resigned him) as well as happening on my birthday.
