Thank you for showing us everything! It’s a process, isn’t it? One suggestion to keep stuff from falling off the back of your desk, is nail or glue a strip of wood to the back that will make a lip. All the best to you as you adjust!

You don't need to apologize for the mess. Moving from one spot to another is always a messy business and sometimes you just got to make a mess in order to make it better. And it's very kind of you to bring us along on this journey because those of us who are messy besties will feel that we have company. I just love your new craft room and I think it's going to work out beautifully for you how lovely to have a place to sew and a place to do your other creating
I am definitely a messy crafter! I just seem to find things easier when it’s a mess!
Hi Tina, I just have to say thank you because I don’t ever see anyones space that looks like mine. I do not have a designated room so I’ve had to make my family room, dining room and a portion of my kitchen into my junk journal, jewelry making and cement art work area. I have things strewn about from one end to the other. I always know where everything is because I’m a disorganized perfectionist! It is so good to see someone with a real craft room that’s messy! Can’t tell you how much I appreciate it so thank you again for showing the ‘reals’ of it all!!!
I love the brick wallpaper and the window for light. DON'T GET RID of your OLD DESK just yet, because I would try to fit it into another area of the house. Someday when the children are gone you'll have plenty of space to move things around from room to room. Years ago fast and that day will be here sooner than you realize. You've done a fantastic job of arranging your craft room. I bet you cannot wait to try it out now.

I feel inspired...I'm actually watching this on a day when I've shifted half of my craft room into another room so it can be painted white 😁👍 I've taken a bit of video footage, will try to share the process too. I love love love your library wallpaper. Unfortunately, it does add to the cluttered feeling, but it is still very nice. As far as the mess, welcome to the club, ha, ha! My craft room was gorgeous. I kept coming in to just look at it. And then, it happened. I was cleaning out cupboards and donating and trying to sell a few items. Well, only some sold and so the rest went into the craft room. You know the drill! So, now I am back working on it again. Fun and games! I am sure we all know how you feel. Changing things, rearranging never ends, but isn't that part of the fun of it all? Enjoy your 'fun'!

Wow, what a job! Love it. I would suggest using as many shelves as possible to fit into those extra spaces and keeping like things together (all adhesives- not just glue- together, all dyed paper, all yarn, all lace, etc.). Also, labeling everything. It has been so much easier for me when I know what each box contains and I know where to put it back. Of course, I love organizing...spend more time touching and organizing my things then actual crafting! Have fun crafting in your new space!

I’d be grabbing those books in the wallpaper, they look so realistic! You might want to divide your scrap bin into larger pieces and smaller ones. Perhaps once a month have a tidying session on video so you don’t get overwhelmed. A huge achievement well done ❤️❤️❤️

Wow! You have done so so much! Moving is always a nightmare, isn’t it. I was looking at your craft mat and it got me to thinking. I saw a video my Tim Holtz in which he showed how easy it is to clean your mat with hand sanitizer. (Alcohol works too). They have a rubber scraper, but I use just a cheap one of my own. It’s so easy! Just squirt a little on and rub it on with a baby wipe then scrape off any stuck on glue or paint. Oh my! It looks brand new in just a few minutes. And I don’t have to run to the sink all the time. I really hope you enjoy your new space. What a lovely big window! So much nice natural light! Hugs, treen 💜💜💜

I love the wallpaper. You already need a bigger room. Just think about all the use up your scrap videos that you will be doing. I would still love to buy a bundle of your scrap. You could do mystery packs and destash. Love your new craft room ❤

Get some of the small Command self adhesive hooks for you desk to hang your bags etc. I have lots of them dotted about in my craft room. Looks great Tina!

It is a beautiful room Tina , happy crafting :) I am one that believes that a craft room should never be tidy :) Well maybe once in a while when we actually clean up, other than that the mess is the fun !

No apologies needed moving my craft room to the garage after 2 floods and moving it back into its original space has been crazy and has taken longer than expected.

If you saw my crafting situation right now, OMG, you’d realize a lot of us are just like you!! It’s really really difficult to find the time to cleanup & reorganize between sessions AND I don’t film!! That takes a bunch of time!! Girlfriend! Well done. This is gonna be a great space for you. It’s so bright, love what you have done. In the long run, the stand up desk will be better for your back & body , You have 2 in 1 standing & sitting. I’m blown away how you chipped away at gathering everything and moving it. I pray everything you need fits in your space and your able to do what you are really really great at. You know like Teaching us and having a play. You are so inspiring. It’s fun to see how people transform their craft rooms! I really couldn’t watch because the camera kept spinning around and made me dizzy lol,so I just looked off to the side and listened to the excitement in your voice. The wallpaper is cute but a bit busy/distracting....but everyone has different styles. Love the bay window. Your old craft room looks more like mine at the moment.....been “organizing” mine for years now lol. TYFS ❤️🦋💜

Wow, looks beautiful. I think you did very well using up all your space. Love the wallpaper. Enjoy!…..Wished I had a craft room. I craft in my living room. Right now it’s a terrible mess in one corner of my room. Today I couldn’t find my phone and text my granddaughter from my iPad to call me because I couldn’t find my phone. Low and behold the ring came from my craft table took her two times to call me because was so much junk on my long craft table before I found it. I had looked on that table 3 times. Last night the pile was so big part fell on my carpet when I went to get up. But I have no shelves . Just one storage on wheels I recently purchased. Crafting is messy. I do store stuff under my bed, my coat closet, my walk in closet and my drawers in my bedroom. I can never find anything because it could be anywhere. I live in a Senior apt. So you know it’s not big. I used to have crafts on my kitchen table but cleaned that mess up couple of months ago. Will not craft their anymore. Just my one corner of my living room. thank you for giving s a tour of your beautiful new craft room. I love it.

Can I be totally honest? I am thrilled that you are going to have a new area…..however……a pastel solid color on the walls to be the background for so MUCH stuff would have given you a cleaner look overall, and as you say, you will need to make use of every inch of space. In helping so many others, I have found glass shelves in the window add storage and still allow some light in. As you use artificial lighting for videos it would work wonders for you. Good luck and be patient with yourself!!

Wow, that is a transformation! Everything looks fantastic! And organized. How wonderful of your sons to help you out with shelves and electrical hook ups, and moving everything about the house. It is amazing how much we manage to accumulate in our craft rooms. But it is always so good to have the items we need. Great job, Tina!

I’m only half way through and i just have to comment…..it’s absolutely wonderful that you show the whole process (warts and all) from the beginning right through. My craft room is almost as bad as yours and mine is just hobby, not full on work like you. Must get back to watching. Hoping for inspiration on sorting my own bye💁🏼♀️
