Enjoy your videos, thank you!
My pleasure. Thanks for watching.
I appreciate all the info. I hope to be out soon for the lake trout.
They are active right now. I hope you make it soon.
Its my 50th soon and the boss says I can get a boat. I mentioned getting one because of your videos. I have been looking hard for the right one i like the 16 sea nymph ill have one very soon and I challeng you Randell to a friendly bet on big fish of the day. My legs don't work great but I can fish. We camp raystown resort every year in September I spend time light tackle kayak fishing there but never on a troller type boat. Thanks for the videos im learning. Hope to see you out there this may 2023 I will catch a striper. Your fellow fisherman Reverend Brian
Absolutely I'd love that! Challenge accepted lol. I'll be around if you want to meet up for lunch while you're up. Let me know.
The peace to be had on or around the water is a healing blessing. Peace be with you my friend.
Peace with you also! You are so right.
Keep the videos coming Randall. I have been camping and pleasure boating at Raystown for many years but have never been able to get serious about fishing. When we are out on the lake I always try to respect the space for those that are fishing. Soon when I retire, I'll dedicate more time to fishing and appreciate and will put to use the tips that I get from the locals. I play guitar too so I also follow you on those videos. Peace!
Robert, I hope we cross paths while we are both up. Respect is critical. Thanks buddy.
I hear there are big white perch there, but I’ve never run into schools of them. I have caught hundreds of the medium ones, mostly near santon, but only a few larger….
There are some big white perch in that lake. You'll see buddy. Thanks for watching my videos.
Love it!!!
Thank you Bob
Thanks for being real Randall. You are totally right about Raystown's ability to re-wire us all. What an amazing place! I wonder if you had a Walleye on that line break. I was lucky to get one at the dive rock one year in late fall on a silver blade-bait. Keep giving us the great vids and take care!
Thank you. I'm working on the walleye puzzle... Stay tuned.
@@randallrydes Hey Randall, I showed your vid to my wife (who loves to fish at Raystown) and you were at the same spot I caught my Walleye! The dive rock is over your left shoulder at 6:40. I know you will catch one soon!
I'm on it!
Live bait has the moochizmo or fregrence fish recognize so the look better than live bait thing only goes so far….
Agreed
I’ve been to Raystown 5 times this year and can’t catch more than a smallmouth, I’ve been fishing by the dam any tips? Also on a boat
I'm sure you know more than me about bass. Stick to the basics is the best advice I can give. I'm a lake trout guy though. If you have questions about that ask away.
We should get together an fish some time I haven’t fished the lake much but hit me up
Yes! I've got a good idea for that. I'm not back until Nov but I'll be living on the lake when I'm back.
I’m game hit me up when u get back an I’ll send u my contact info
