Bear Bait (popcorn crack)

Getting ready for a bear hunt? At Wildcall Acres we have a great low budget bear bait recipe that’s like “popcorn crack”. Keep the bears at the bait stand/station longer. They will work hard getting their bellies full. They will love this sweet flavour. We will upload game cam pics and the results of the hunt; like & subscribe to stay tuned.
Ingredients:
• Cherry kool-aid powder
• popping corn kernels
• molasses
• vanilla extract diluted in water with spray bottle

How long did it take you to pop two bags of popcorn and complete the process? Also, how did it work, were you successful with the hunt?

Takes me about 1 hour to pop a full garbage bag. I start long b4 season and have 60 bags on stand by.

Total time to make 2 bags + cleanup took about 2 hrs with the air pop maker. I’ll be looking for a couple more of that style popper from thrift stores etc one pandemic restrictions in our area are lifted. Yes we had a successful hunt in Sep ‘20 opening day with a young bore.
