I believe that all distinction of sex and gender need to go Then we can all deveop our personalities and interests free from expectations. Woman on the Edge of Time by Marge Piercy is a novel that imagines a future society drawn on ideas from Firestone Dworkin and other rad fems. iOS worth a read to see one way this could actually work

Biology is a real bitch. So you cannot remove sex and all gender differences. We are biological animals, biologically geared towards 2 seperate roles.

@@pipersolanas3322 Yes. It's biological - men cannot give birth and women won't feel what having hanging testicles is like.

I agree with you only as long as more women start filling the roles of bricklayer and sanitation worker. Oh and when the army, navy and marines are made up
      Of half women .

I agree with her that conventional sex acts are misogynistic. And men and women sexuality needs to be freed from pre-assigned roles during sex acts to break the cycle of hierarchy in sex and also to have more spontaneous sex acts than pretending to fulfill a social rule that holds unwritten scripts of misogyny.
But what I see missing here. Is that gay culture ( lesbian culture in this sense ) holds binary irreversible " gender " rules and " sex " rules of the heterosexual relationship. The whole Idea of femme/ butch think is a recreation of patriarchy.

Androgyny is where we came from and where we are going.
This is demonstrated in our Spirituality and our physical evolution.
How we get there is going to be...
    Messy.

The "virgin birth" has been coded in our spirituality for millennia.

@@Egg_Apron So have lots of inaccurate, false, and idiotic ideas. To even entertain the possibility of human “virgin birth” in the 20th century is heavily ignorant.
The historical fascination with these “virgin births” is rooted in patriarchal notions (phobias) of sex as a corruption of the female body, and of the female body as an extension of the father/husband.

Penetration does not have to have anything to do with overpowerment. Domination of one side. Or any of that disgusting ideas of love and attraction. I would rather be a fulltime monk than accept that horrrible gender dogma that also females enforce on males. its so delusional to act like this is not opression of hundreds of thousands of innocent men. who whant absolutely nothing to opressive role(play) and try to create/find l o v e

Being denied sex is nowhere near as bike and damaging than being forced to endure it. You are not describing oppression. PIV sex is not always abusive, but the issue of many men demanding to penetrate women and children persists to the point of trafficking and incest by males towards female people (and other males though not in numbers as large). Not being given access to sex does not compare to this and does not constitute oppression.

Andrea Dworkin is something of an embarrassment to modern feminism. It is true that a lot of her work was thinly veiled androphobia. Worst of all, she often displayed a very healthy amount of homophobia as well. Rightfully so, her work turned away many who would have otherwise been allies.
