Rusty Strapping Tensioner Tool Restoration - Old and New Restoration Projects
In this video I restore four different things.
1) I'm restoring an Antique Strapping Tensioner Tool.I bought this tool from flea market some time ago. This strapping tensioner is very rust and some parts are jammed due to rust.
I thought this strapping tensioner should be restored now. I began the restoration by disassembling the tool.After separating all parts applied electrolysis process to remove rust from all parts.Painted the part of the tool that was to be painted and buffed the parts that were going to be buffed and hot bluing the parts that were going to be bluing.And assembled after cleaning all parts of the strapping tensioner.

Its not an "antique" for sure. It isn't even very old per se. They are cheaply made and still available for little money. There are models for plastic as well as metal strapping.
