Coach Nick broke down Miami Heat sharp shooter Duncan Robinson's game, comparing and contrasting how he got his 3 point shots in college versus the NBA. This might explain why so many scouts missed on him being a bona fide starter on an NBA Finals team.

Another thing the heat did was make him shoot. Two things happened, if he passed up a shot his teammates would scream all at him. After they screamed at him spo made him run laps.
Then after practice for every shot he passed up they made shoot like a hundred 3 pointers for each one he passed up.
The culture is turning him into a killer. A pure sniper and the run to the finals this year is going to pay hugh dividends .
Dunk is going to be unstoppable now. He basically has a green light to shoot from any time and anywhere.

Specifically with Robinson, where he's sprinting AWAY from the rim off picks WITH THE BALL...that's some 'next level' streetball shooter stuff. I love how he's weaponized the pump fake/shot pass off the dribble, passing straight back to the big then moving to space (given his defender bit the shot fake). I think 3 of them made it to the NBA. Moe Wagner and DJ Wilson definitely played with him and Caris LeVert I'm pretty sure played while he was there, he may have played there while Duncan was sitting out his first year there

Yeah, a lot of those guys made it to the NBA but hardly any of them is having the impact he's having. LeVert being the exception. The other guys ride the bench. Still a really good team to produce so many NBA players. They should have won a national championship IMO.

Most teams are just there to generate income/profit for their current owners. Getting the top picks is enough to generate millions in investment. Winning is just a bonus. The reason why most teams change owners after x years.
