White man podcast 😂
One thing I've always respected ab Duncan is his honesty. In the very best way, in this podcast he seems like just a homie and not an NBA player
This just in NBA players are humans
Idk why but this just reminded me of grant Williams saying the Celtics were the better team after losing the nba finals to the warriors.
Turns you on?
Yes, I feel like duncan isn’t a basketball player sometimes. What a great humble person.
@@ffukdemdragons415 Not even similar
Duncan is someone that every shooter can look up to. Bro has one of the cleanest shots ever and once he noticed he needed to add to his game he’s worked on his passing and cutting relentlessly. You can see the progress showing on the court these playoffs
I was extremely impressed with him attacking the basket. That takes daily work when you’re not exceptionally fast or quick.
@@jaayeee24 That boy was attacking Jayson Tatum like he was just some dude LOL
I’m so proud of the improvement Duncan has made. He’s no longer a one trick pony.
@@SushiSaiyan he exposed Jayson Tatum. 😳 That man didn’t want to play any defense.
Weirdo
He’s mentally strong. He’s came in to these playoffs, with inconsistent playing time, and hit some huge shots. And when he’s not hitting, he’s lookin for his shot with confidence. Game 6 they were using him at the very end of the game, with a trip to the finals on the line. That has to be super tough! I hope he has a good final!
Even though he missed those two shots, they were online but long not short or off to the side. That’s a sign of a confident shooter to me. Mighta just got a bit too excited? 🤷♂️
@@sgttomas Even curry on his best day rarely goes 100% from three. I aint sayin nothin. But facts.
@@FilledWithDetermination true
@@FilledWithDetermination this is one thing I never get about how people look at open 3s, and maybe the reason why it was an underrated shot for so long. it just doesn't go in most of the time, only the very very best shooters in history are over 50% on wide open 3s. but 50% on 3s is as efficient as prime lebron or giannis at the rim
As a lifelong heat fan its been amazing to watch duncans progression if you dont watch all the heat games the past 4 years you wouldnt notice but the way he gets to the basket now and even creates for other guys with his movement is amazing, his iq is extremely underrated as well hes always in the right spots even on defense hes really improved thats a credit to him and the coaches who pushed to add those things to his game
thats true his cutting is very underrated his defense tho but duncan trying maybe bulk more or atleas spo knows how to hide him to the team defense
So this season was his worst, BY FAR, season of defense. There's an unreal stat that he was fouling like a full 33% of all possessions he guarded, and in the regular season he became practically unplayable, especially not hitting shots at a 40%+ clip. This playoffs though? I don't feel like he's fouling anywhere near that level, has been totally reasonable on the defensive side of things, and has been an offensive engine for us because he can be so deadly from 3. I've always said I think Duncan can be a top 10 shooter of all-time, and I hope the Heat don't give up on him because I think there's a level to this that is closer to his playoff self than what we saw during the regular season.
He finally leveled up exactly when we needed him too...love it and can't wait to see more...there's a dunk off a back cut coming in the finals, i know it!
He's always been starter-caliber.
@@penkima4923 his defense was and still kind of is suspect so if he wasnt making 3s, he was a total liability...his D has improved(that block on that JB 3 was sweet) and now he added back cuts and layups to his game...
@@paullmight42 his defense probably will never be Jimmy or Bam, but he’s definitely a lot better than Herro on defense now
The part of Duncan game that impressed me the most during these playoffs we all know he is a great shooter but the way he’s taking the rock to the basket has really made him a threat
Duncan had been my favorite player for 2 years now and it makes me so happy to see him succeed 😊
he going crazy rn heat might win this game
What this teaches us is to stay ready. Success is when preparation meets opportunity. 🎉🎉🎉
And dat is #heatculture 💪
I was rooting for Boston but Robinson made huge adjustments for Game 7. He missed two wide open 3's in Game 6 that would have cinched the game. In Game 7 we was cutting to the basket with authority and making smarter passes which he should have done previously. The entire team upped their game to close out but he changed his playstyle. It was amazing to watch.
Duncan is a beast for being able to come in and perform when he was needed, despite his team not always needing him
The old adage of everyone staying ready, and literally everyone being necessary during a playoff run... is so true in the modern NBA. K Love, especially if he gets blasted off the floor against the Nuggets, might not play in these playoffs again. But we don't beat the Bucks without him, and his veteran leadership is worth more than we'll ever know. At the end of the day, winning solves all individual pain. I feel the most bad for Dino though, knowing he isn't going to be able to come back in time to contribute during this run, particularly if we win a championship. *Sigh*. Next year, maybe?
Happy for Duncan and happy for the Heat organization. They do it all the right way. Incredible management. What a culture
it’s crazy cause I remember you guys talking about it w/ Tim Legler before playoffa
Couldn’t believe the amount of hate he’s gotten this year, he’s improved a lot doing other stuff during this playoff run and been valuable. Miss his pod tho
yo are you a mets heat fan as well?
@@clickbait3753 I am not sorry but go Mets
So Heat win it all?
@@clickbait3753 I'm a Mets Heat fan tho. Let's go!!
@@immortalkidz no they goin to the finals
This heat team screams redemption, and Duncan is a shining example
Work as hard as you can and have a great attitude. Two major keys to success in any endeavor…
Duncan back in full force
Somehow, falling out of rotation seemed to have turned him into a better playmaker and defender.
He’s been practicing both in the off season but him and Bam have had the connection for years
He had to earn his minutes back. It’s a testament to coaches for benching him despite the contract and to Duncan for pushing through the adversity. People leave their egos at the door in Miami and it shows.
So awesome to watch his game evolve, cutting, assisting, driving to the basket. And of course nailing threes
Don't forget that he also swatted someone's 3, and picked up 2 steals.
Tommy’s lighting looks like he’s shooting the next Blair Witch Project
Duncan Robinson is a baller. I’m not even a Heat fan but you should never question yourself DR . Keep getting buckets
Duncan Robinson made Referee Eric Lewis Talk’That Andy Griffin Vernacular with that….”Y’i Outtahh….!!!” Tim Duncan David Robinson got that J.J. Reddick DNA For-sure, Respectively….!!! I’m Rooting For The HEAT, Why Not…!!! I did not expect The HEAT to get past The Knicks, especially when Hero went out and Jimmy’s Ankle got took’OUT…!!! They are “WELL COACHED, A KNOWN ESTABLISHED CULTURE & THEY HAVE AN IDENTITY”….ID LOVE TO SEE YALL WIN 🥇
this guy has a nice release and hardly misses. good to see him get the minutes back in the playoffs
I like hearing from these types of players.
Duncan is such a straight up dude, like he'd be still be the same genuine guy even if he wasn't a pro athlete.
Confidence is key!!
Its a grind man. Someones always looking to take your spot.
Spo doesn't like his style.
Can I say one thing. He’s not out of the rotation. Man is a dagger
I miss the long shot pod. Duncan's a playoff player!
DUNCAN DOES THIS FOR HIS CITY!
Miss his pod, too.
Why did it end?
There was like a 3 minute sequence in a recent game where he looked like one of the best players in the league.
😂😂😂
Robinson found his game once again
I can imagine Duncan being a great coach in his future.
When Pat Riley step down, Spo will be promoted to Pat position, Quinn will the head coach and Duncan will replace Quinn in that assistant position.
Media can be hard on players expecting them to play like a 2K players every game. Its gotten so drastic that every game they're on you. Sometimes they dont even watch the full game they just care about your production, PPG's mostly cause that is also how they make a living, by scrutinizing and dressing down players.
The Heat now is how i hoped the Bulls would be
Every casual NBA “analysts” CZcamsr always had Duncan as an entry in their Worst Contract list. I’m glas Duncan is making it count when it matters😊
What happened to his podcast?
Bro prob had to lock in for a lil bit he will be back
I think it helped him improve his game
Anyone who shows up in the playoffs is automatically a good player
Those 2 4th quarter threes in the game 6 hurt, (I’m a lakers fan) but it doesn’t matter anymore
What I like abt Duncan is he will miss clutch shots like that every once in a while and just act like it didn’t happen and just move on he’s mentally strong I definitely look up to him
Crazy cuz him hitting shots got them in that position. Reminds me of jordan poole in game 1 vs LA.
"How the sausage is made" ?!! AYYYYYYYYY YOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!
I love Duncan and butler as a Celtics fan! Hope they can win a chip soon especially jimmy but I don’t see them beating Denver as they have no one to gaurd jokic
How the sausage is made is crazy Duncan 😂
He came up big in a couple games. I’m happy for him because it wasn’t looking too good (like he said).
I don’t know what injury problems he dealt with, but I hope he can work on stabilizing his knees/legs in the offseason. His shot is less consistent, and I think it’s because of his lower half.
His lower half has looked a bit flimsy and unstable the last couple of years. I’m not comparing him to Steph, but whatever Steph did to stabilize his ankles, Duncan should do with his knees/legs.
"Sort of" happy to see Duncan succeed in this game (bball) and in the playoffs. Too bad that the Heat don't have enough to overcome such a tall and talented Nugget team lead by the most efficient offensive player the game has seen. Denver in 4. The media will cost the Heat any chance because of controversial Denver omissions, and even though the team might not say so, the Nuggets probably want to shoiw that they are one of the all time great teams by sweeping the series.
Duncan look SHEEN from jimmy neutron 😂
Makes me happy to see my wolverines 〽️ Duncan Robinson, Jordan Poole, and the Wagner brothers succeed in the NBA level
Jordan poole succeeding is an overstatement
@@sallymae5893 holy casual
Instrumental in a chip...last year ✌️
Jordan Poole is an overrated selfish BUM!
@@garrett1282 lol he’s right…. Poole is a liability…. Warriors would literally trade him for a bag of balls if they could…. Not to mention his teammates hate him and his coach barely played him in big games…. Looks like YOU are the casual lol
Personally hes new playing style will shine more on warriors offense
It’s crazy how mobile he’s become
You can tell he’s from Boston as soon as he starts talking lol
He's from Maine, not boston. He went to college in Massachusetts
3:10 Ayo 🤨
I wish Duncan had signed with the Mavs instead of resigning THJ. Luka would create so many great looks for Duncan. It would be lethal.
Hero might do more, but Duncan is a better fit for the team. I have been saying this for a while now.
JIMMY NEUTRON!!!! Mad respect keep it up! 🏀👍🏼🏆
I miss the long shot pod 😢
Happens to most players.. this is the gamble that teams make when they give players a big bag of a short sample size. Teams start adjusting their defenses to players. Look at Jordan Poole dude is nowhere near the player he was when teams were caught off guard by him.
100% happens in all sports. Once other people have film of you in the pros everything changes.
The background reminds me of oreo
The Longshot got paid and lost his hunger to pop a longshot.
Bro JJ be beating around the bush too much. Be more direct fam
@chquan Gill too focused on that gambling addiction
Idk what spo is doing honestly, Duncan is a hooper
Shooter wasnt shooting. Simple.
Jj should mentor duncan or ag least give tips as they have the same play style
where the f.. is Paul Millsap on your podcast :) , he is very competent to talk about Joker games.
it would be a damn good story, sure
Who is the guy with a hat on
Tommy Alter
this podcast probably fueld him with his 10 points in 2 mins xD
Not gonna lie, I thought Duncan was on his way into the real estate industry.
This video should be called the “Three White Musketeers of the NBA”. They just missing Kyle Korver, and Dirk lol
Miami runs on Duncan
Bro needs to be in the gym mastering his 3 we need it after strus 0/10
Why did he even fall out of the rotation?
Defensive liability and im pretty sure he wasnt hitting shots consistently
@@toothpick434 oh ok
He couldn't hit the side of a house and his defense was not what Spo wanted.
he also had a large hand injury that people forgot about
@@toothpick434 right after signing a big contract, too. management was probably pissed and robinson probably spiraled into depression
I think Herro needs to be traded. Without him Heat role players can play their game. The system of Spoe keeps afloat. No Wanna be Superstar and a ball hog.
It looks like Duncan has no chin 😂😂😂
Cuz he has a toughness issue. He has to go to the gym frequently.
The sausage .. wow
Heat? Champions? .........😂
I remember that time he scored 10 pts vs the nuggets and everyone overreacted and thought he should be starting and then the heat lost 3 in a row and the nuggets won the title.
Dude can’t play. Shouldn’t be in the rotation
Tell that to the Bucks, Knicks and the Celtics
Stak was right about these new players they SOFT 😂😂 he starting to question it instead of KNOWING you're good enough to be out there starting for a team. Lost some respect for this guy today
Says the guy with a cartoon girl as an avatar
Congratulations brother for the clown of the year award. Not everybody in one profession, let alone basketball, thinks the exact same way, react the same to adversity, and has the exact same amount of confidence. I’m proud of you, it’s hard to win this award 🏆. Idk if you know this but mid 2000s in general and 2023 are two completely different eras. We allow men to not give in to the toxic masculinity that goes around.
Imagine calling a guy from D3 who crawled his way up to NBA soft. Do you even know how much pressure you have to overcome to reach his level and the fact that he continues to work to maintain a role is already tough as hell
Man I’m glad you’re all roasting this guy 😂 LETS GO DUNCANNN
Nice troll
