  • Pamela is known as the most famous German Social Media Influencer with 2.7 million followers on Instagram and interest in sports, fashion, and beauty. Christoph Kastenholz is Founding Partner of Pulse Advertising, the globally leading Influencer Marketing agency working with over 5,000 social media influencers around the globe.
Looking back at Pamela’s career, it all began four years ago when she started posting photos of herself on social media platforms without having a particular goal or strategy in mind. Pamela simply shared her hobbies and interests, being mainly fitness, beauty, and fashion, with her followers and quickly grew her international following reaching more than 2,7 million people today. Although she loves to post on Instagram and engages with her followers on a personal level she wants to be more than just an „Instagram girl“. Pamela is a 20-year old social media influencer but also a dedicated entrepreneur, who successfully launched her app, her personal fitness program, and a shoe collection. Next month her first book will follow. Above all, Pamela is an inspiration for young women who achieves her goals being passionate and hard-working.
Christoph Kastenholz is Founding Partner of Pulse Advertising, the globally leading Influencer Marketing agency with offices in Hamburg, Germany and New York, USA. Growing rapidly from inception in 2014 to a team of 50, Pulse Advertising has become market leader in its industry.
After studying at top universities in Germany, France and Spain, Chris worked in M&A Investment Banking at GP Bullhound in London. His experiences working with businesses sparked his interest in entrepreneurship, and Chris left London to start a fashion label in Germany with his partner Lara. While promoting his fashion label, Chris found many shortcomings in the traditional advertising methods. He realized the highest ROI in advertising was through the widely untapped influencer marketing field, and decided to pursue this opportunity.
This led to the establishment of Pulse Advertising, and in just over two years Chris and Lara have grown Pulse into the global player it is today.

I am shook about the comments. She is telling her story and it is including a great message. Do what you love and what you enjoy no matter what the external standards of your community expect you to do. And for those who don't live in Germany, the pressure to go study and be an engineer, doctor or lawyer to earn good money and do your part by paying tons of taxes for the community is immense. To be able to say "Don't care, I will do what I love" requires a lot of balls. You are judged so easily by everyone if you choose to do something different and that is not the "standard way".
I enjoy her speech more, than anyone else who has empty content but is an entertainer on stage in front of a big audience. Don't know really why people always fall for that.
And stop being jealous about her looks. If you'd actually follow her, this girl stands 100% behind her values and what she believes in. I wonder, who of you would change for her workdays that are 12+ hours and she is even working on weekends. Judge again about her just being privileged

you wouldn’t judge a person who didn’t have a great upbringing so why her? she didn’t choose to be more privileged than others, and the fact that some of you are using that against her and overlooking the amount of work she put in to get where she is is sad. dismissing the hard work that people put in just because of how privileged they are is pathetic. privilege is in no ones control. no one chooses to be privileged.

When you're Pamela, there are people and opportunities to catch you when you fall. This is why everyone isn't jumping on the "Pamela is so brave" train. If she wasn't successful at being a fitness sweetheart, she would have a dozen other careers lined up for her. That doesn't mean her personal hard work should be ignored. In fact, its admirable that she decided to carve her own path. Still, lets not pretend that Pamela's struggle is set to the same difficulty as most of ours.

Watching this got me reflecting on my own life. I’m only 17, it isn’t that old, I’ll be 18 in June. But this actually got me crying for half a hour lmao.
I feel like I could’ve done way better with everything in my life. I used to be so motivated with everything, I used to be the best student of my class (until 2 years ago), I was very social and I was genuinely happy.
But I’ve been feeling so damn low these past 2 years, I became extremely introverted, I don’t have many friends, my grades are so bad and I feel so lonely and horrible every single day. The only thing that makes me forget all of this for a moment is watching romantic movies and listening to music that reminds me of 2015-2017 lmao. I don’t have any motivation for anything at all.
I don’t have any dreams, I don’t know what I want to achieve and I don’t know what to expect from the future.
And I ask myself everyday what went wrong. So seeing Pamala and the guy talking about their achievements in their life at such a young age, made me realise that I’m a mess, I’m nothing compared to them. So I’ll just continue crying in bed :)
English isn’t my first language, maybe I made a few mistakes :’)

      Hello there beautiful soul!
First of all I think, it takes courage to express personal feelings and thoughts here, so I have much respect for it. ^^
I honestly can relate so much.
I also don't know where I should go in life or what my passions are. I must admit it is pretty scary.
But, when you are feeling lost, please remind yourself this is a blessing.
It sounds a bit odd, isn't it? Why should something like this be a blessing?
Well, in this episode of your life you will try out many different things and face various opportunities.
So why not enjoy this special time?
Also, whenever you feel discouraged or disappointed in yourself, finding yourself comparing yourself to other great, successful people and wondering why you can't be as amazing as them, I want to tell you that it's okay feeling this way.
(I also tend to worry a lot ^^)
Do you think those amazing people started from the top? Surely not. They started at the bottom, maybe from where you are/were.
So why shouldn't you be successful and happy?
Talent or skill often don't really matter. Your will and determination do.
If you are going through a hard time right now, please know that I respect you a lot.
I'm sure these times will pass and you will grow stronger from it. Although these days may be hard they are still important.
I genuinely wish the best for you and I believe in you!
(English also isn't my first language so you might notice some mistakes ^^')

Well, maybe because those quotes are the essence of life. Nothing new, but instead of finally living it people will keep looking for more motivational quotes, just to be crying in the corner at the end of the day about how bad their life is and looking for more motivational quotes instead of taking your life in your hands and to do something.

Biggest mistake ever, I regret it so hard and there is no going back.
Please don't let anyone or the society decide about your future, life is so short and if you stop to look back it's already gone.
