      I've never had any interest in bodybuilding, but this was still one hell of an entertaining interview. Ended up checking out the other ones, but only Shawn and Dorian have enough charisma to listen to.

      @@threexfromwsg Yeah, I had always heard such negative things about him through the years that may or may not be true but from where I sit behind my computer screen, he seems to be an okay guy. That passion drove him to make the best of a very niche and subculture profession; bodybuilding.

      @@arpegio88 only one I've heard negative things from was Shawn Ray wich isn't surprising he talks shit about himself even lol. I listen to alot of Rx Muscle Dave Palumbo, Gregg Valentino, Lee Priest all those guys have always talked about Wayne with respect. All the crazy funny stories from those guys I've been wanting to hear from Wayne for awhile too. Hope he's on more channels and does more stuff like this. He's very knowledgeable and has alot to tell & say yet.

    Damn I always thought Wayne Dimilia was the villian of bodybuilding according to shawn ray and some others, but after listening to this interview, Im beginning to change my mind, it really does make sense when people say, its two sides of the story, in this case i can honest to god say i may have misjudged, without knowing real facts. I can also honestly say, I CAN LISTEN TO WAYNE Tell stories all day long, this guy is a damn good story teller, look at patrick, he is speechless and just intrigued listening. GREAT INTERVIEW or in this case, GREAT I WILL SHUT UP AND LET THE GUY SPEAK episode sorta interview :)

    I was a vip ticket holder in 2003 my first Olympia. I called Wayne on his personal phone about buying a $650 ticket which was a lot of money for me for a bodybuilding ticket. He spent about an hour on the phone with me talking about that upcoming Olympia. I remember I was so surprised the head of the ifbb would spend that amount of time on the phone taking about buying that ticket. Was Wayne a true dedicated person to that job

      I am also Arabic and never a camel until I came to the states.
      It is stereotypical that if you are Arabic, you either have camels , desert , oil or wear Turbans. Most Arabic people don't have any of that.

      Steve Reeves the 4th any relation to the bodybuilder? I remember the Epic movies when I was a child. The screen was Texas style out in a Drive-In. That size of a Silver Screen does not exist anywhere in the world. So you can imagine the size of that giant on a screen in the Texas Prairie Cowboy Drive-In

    Wayne DeMilia sometimes has too much to say, but it's probably the most interesting bodybuilding interview on the Valuetainment channel so far. There has been a lot of talk about Joe and Ben Weider, but here we get a direct look into the engine room of the IFBB and although Patrick has to pull Wayne back on track several times, you can see that he is really listening. I hope some of the current people behind Mr. Olympia and other IFBB competitions will take note of this interview.

    Wayne's passiom and incredible detailed memory 40-50 years after his prime in body building promotion. So many great interviews with Italians 🇮🇹. In tradition, story telling is verbal with passionate and detailed and doesn't have a time limit.

      mixalis DeMilia has said himself any of these Should have been given the nod over Yates or Coleman at one time or another later in their reign's, but DeMilia doesn't control the judges. And maybe one who for years wants bigger man, wins. Steve Wienburg, Now they been changing the tune e.g. rohden's win in 2018
      How the judges gave the win to dorian again in 97, Nasser was the better guy that day.
      Kai should have won against heath once.
      Victor martinez should have won against jay.
      As reigning champion, favoritism existed more. Now the other categories exist, and bodybuilding is less popular, & arnold voiced bloated guts, they changed the "agenda" view, what they mark on.

    I can't believe Wayne Demelia is on this show. Of all the people in bodybuilding. Wayne had dissapeared for twenty years but for some reason I'm more interested in this interview than any other bodybuilding interview. Only Valutainment could think of having this guy on. Well done.

The rest of the time he was training year round and blasting gear year round. He did not win Mr O because he couldn’t not because he didn’t want to or he didn’t put in the work.

    This was one of the best and most entertaining bodybuilding interviews I’ve seen on here. Wayne definitely is a self promoter but you can’t argue his passion for bodybuilding and how since he left the IFBB the marketing and growth of the industry hasn’t not become what it was from the 80s-2000s

    Wayne Demilia always brought the image of Bodybuilding forward. Bodybuilding grew and evolved because of Wayne Demilia. Unlike Jim Manion who damaged the image of bodybuilding.

    Patrick is extraordinarily well rounded. Is there no topic he can't communicate about? He is a great listener. He asks great questions, there is no one he doesn't manage to connect with on some level, and he never intimidates. The more I watch his work, the more respect I have for his skill.     Another piece to the history of bodybuilding. Wayne mentions Robbie Robinson who was one of the greats and a trailblazer of the sport. He also is instrumental in breaking racial barriers in the sport. Please get him on so he can add his knowledge to the history of bodybuilding!     I've been following bodybuilding for 49, almost 50 years. That was incredible! I want to hear more! I've never learned so much about bodybuilding or any other sport for that matter in such a short amount of time!

    One of the best interviews I ever watched, heard so much negativity from Shawn Ray about Wayne, after listening to him he’s a extraordinary person in my eyesight, Patrick you should invite him back, Wayne can tell some great stories.

    All the years that Wayne has been around the game this is the first full depth interview I have ever seen of him.. and I liked him.. nice interview he comes off very passionate and very human.. his love for the sport and the athletes is so palatable... nice job Pat!

    When Wayne said he was 70 years old I couldn’t believe it ! He looks WAY younger . Also he’s a good storyteller and his personality is just perfect for the business he was in

    I had no idea there was a bodybuilding series! After watching all of them, this was the most entertaining and enlightening interview on bodybuilder I have ever seen. And I've been following it and strongman for the past 40+ years. I just wish there was more of this guy around! And Patrick is the best interviewer, when the guest is on a roll, you say nothing... AMAZING!

      We wanted to compete in mr olympia. It's one of his favorite sport

      He wanted to be Mr Olympia when he was 18 and did a couple cycles but very soon he realized the health complications that he would have to deal with (his father had heart problems) so he quit but he still had the passion for the sport.
      I believe sooner or later he will be involved in the sport tho

    Patrick have you considered interviewing Bill Pearl, 5 × Mr. Universe and TRUE ICON of the sport? He is 92 now, I believe, still trains at 4:00 am, six days a week, and lives here in Southern Oregon.He is thoroughly approachable, charismatic, and engaging. He has fantastic stories of the Golden Era and just a general wisdom that the fans would truly appreciate.
