Knowing I shoot a brand you might take a dump on some day, I know for a fact I will be rolling laughing knowing how you will detail what the company has screwed up. Why youd ont' have more thumbs ups and views is beyond me, but this is the best 10minutes of photo fun a person can have.

Also...I seem to remember this one dude who was VERY nervous about exhibiting at an art gallery, and how well his work would be accepted... It's easy after the fact to realize that your fears were unfounded, but do you remember what you were going through leading up to that?

If people were never critical of my photography then I know I'm doing something wrong. No matter how great your images it's simply impossible for everybody to like it. As far as my own work I doubt there's anybody more critical of it....my photography sucks everyone! 😊😁
This is right on, especially about embracing criticism. I wouldn't really give much if any credit to the random "you suck" but actual criticism you can absolutely learn from, even if it doesn't feel great at the time because it may burst your bubble. I can think of several photos of my own rubbery I thought were the s*** at the time, but I got my bubble burst, and came to realize that the critique was right, and I learned something.
Excellent advice... parents, school, friends should tell U this since U'r a child.
I make sure I give it a day after the edit before posting an image. You can become edit blind. The brain becomes desensitised while you are editing. You need to give your brain a break from the image so you can evaluate it properly. Give your image a day after editing just to be sure.
I used to be a member of a group on Flickr called "Delete Me Uncensored" - if you didn't have a thick skin you wouldn't last long. MOST of the other members were constructive critics and were extremely helpful, but quite honestly it a great indicator of whether a shot had any merit.
What kills me is when someone who posts a horrible shot and then watermarks it - really? you think anyone wants to steal your crap?

Ahhh yes the internet....next time you get a raging put down from a raging keyboard bravefart ask him to explain what he means. "So, dude/bro/bruh or whatever the hell you are, I don't quite get what you're saying...maybe direct me to YOUR portfolio so I can be enlightened..." That usually brings the dialogue to an abrupt end ;-)
Dude, can you talk about this in your video? I’m talking about the awful marketing and product slogans lately, especially Zeiss’ slogan for its new camera, the ZX1: “Stay in Your Flow.” WTF?! I imagine a sanitary pad or tampon commercial! “MaxiFresh pads. Stay in your flow.” 🤣 Also Nikon had something stupid. And other camera gear companies are too cheap to pay an ad agency for good marketing. Thoughts?
What lens are you using to shoot these videos? The body is an M50; correct? TIA.
Don’t hate me but I’m just using the kit lens 15-45 mm. And yes, the M50.
In an art gallery? That doesn't take any effort - just join a communist collective, dress like a semi-punk alien, take a shaken out of focus pic of dogshit and label it "Joseph's Orphans", arrange a money laundering scheme with your local hotels to fund your art trust and save on taxes, and you'll get 1st place award and international recognition. I do not know any serious European (including serious communists) who's not making fun of all that abstract Neo-nihilism pre-teen shit. Now to be serious, I don't even post 0.1% of the pics I print and keep (which are framed and in albums). Because I have no social media accounts anymore, and my pics are personal/family/friends. I have serious problems with myself thinking of the time I wasted on social media.
