The Osmo was cool, but needs a V2 or a Pro version for the few missing features, like audio jack, tripod mount, wider FOV for vloggers ... pretty cool. Missed the Morning Jolt,. Its a classic. I like to watch technique videos with examples ... I can't afford a bunch of new gear anyway, technique is more important gear to me.
We enjoy your videos Mark, we understand if life takes a priority you have to do what you love to do, just know that your Jolts and videos were appreciated.
The great part about this show is that unlike some "large hair you tubers" you have confidence and don't focus on getting audience etc. Make it the "morning jolt" but have that be the joke. Or feed it overnight for the next day

Happy New Year Mark :) Good to see you're doing fine. I really enjoy your sense of humor and being passionate about photography. Whatever you create will be fine and entertaining, and those the points basically. Now I'm on finding my style using the Fuji and learning about the film simulations and finding the ones I like so I simply shoot .jpg if it's not a paid job. Also, focus on learning composition and photography in general. Whatever you decide to do focus on what is important to you :)

I'm currently sitting at my computer scanning a bunch of 35mm negatives I shot a couple of weekends ago. Oh what an adventurous life I lead lol 😊 Maybe I should sell up and hit the road too....actually, scrub that idea, we don't have a Florida here in the UK. Truth, my friend, and you brought that truth in your "rants". The ONLY reason I now have a Pana G9 is because the G7 took one to many drops and now the mechanical shutter doesn't retract. I can do it manually, and the electronic shutter along with video work just fine, but instead of sending it to get fixed or buying another one, I decided to get a more robust camera. I've had the G7 since its release. Happy New Year! A "Morning Jolt" every now and then is necessary to bring me back to earth instead of looking at the dreamy clouds of new gear I really do not need.

Or just do a photography talk/news video like this morning jolt with interesting topics.
Not only did I NOT upgrade my gear....I got rid of it. Bye bye cameras. Don't ever want to see another camera or related junk! Enjoy your point of view however.
i caved. i never bought sony due to ergos and bad battery life, but they finally slowly making bigger batteries and bigger bodies (so i'll give them respect for that). fuji still has that crappy grip that you need to buy an extra grip acessory super expensive. 4th gen x-trans and still have the crap battery. sony changed battery during 3rd gen full frame. and software editing (was hoping fuji would follow suit espeically with xh series). i'm done with fuji, i joined the dark side. got a used eos-r for about $1700 used. crazy deal. gonna sell my gear go get the f4 zoom. i've had 4 fuji bodies int the past, and 2 of them developed issues. i'm going with tried and true durable canon. i've had 4 sytems, went back to canon, i don't care about bleeding edge anymore, just need something reliable, and software friendly. thought about nikon but xqd, i'm not buying that.
You are brash, no b.s. voice in a sea of CZcamsrs trying to mask commercials as tutorials. It would be sad to see that voice in the community go away. I do hope you do something else and as a photographer myself I hope it's photography related. Everything may have already been done and there may be videos on just about anything photography related, but honesty is pretty scarce. The community could use more.
