Very interesting. First of all, Lara will always be my favorite artist for so many reasons…. Still I enjoyed Dimash’s version. You can see Lara’s influence in his performance. He chose to do the build that Lara is famous for….and it was beautiful. He is an amazing singer with an amazing range and he is in his prime. I will say this. Lara and Dimash are the best performers in their respective primes. I would venture to say, I’m looking forward to see how Dimash’s voice and performance will be in 10-15 years. Amazing music from amazing artists.

I think Dimash found the heart that even Igor didn't know existed in his own song. It's magic.
Absolutely. A perfect example of what Sveta said - that Dimash doesn't sing a song unless he hears it through his heart. It makes so much sense when you hear him sing a song that has you trembling in your seat, then feeling exhilarated, then having your heart ripped out and shredded, only to have it finally put back together with that final strong, declamatory notes. He's truly unmatchable.

I love it when an artist covers a song and arranges it the way the song was MEANT to be. The way Disturbed did with The Sound of Silence. Like this song, the original is incredible, of course, but Disturbed made the tone match the lyrics. Dimash did the same with this song. Notice how you acknowledged the beautiful love lyrics more-so in his performance as opposed to the music/vocals in hers. It was arranged so the tone of the song perfectly matched the lyrics. Genius.

Great reaction! This is the first time I've heard Lara sing this song. It was gorgeous, of course, but more like a cover of Alla. Dimash competely changed the tempo and made it more of a love ballad, imo. Since I'm always partial to Dimash, of course I pick his version. 😊

I love Lara's version better but Dimash really nails this differently. He is bringing a different emotional approach and it is quite pleasing. He knows he can't compete with Lara so he goes at it from another angle. That's how much of an artist he is. Brilliant! His offering here is a great companion to Lara's.
