Yes. Loves his Mum. His whole family in fact. Dimash has asked his Dears rather than bring flowers, to instead, consider supporting the charities he has links to on his site. Those bouquets he does receive he sends to Children's Hospitals and Aged Care Facilities in whichever city he happens to be in. He is a good human! As for the Audience response, 'Westerner's' tend to misinterpret this. In that part of the world it's considered rude to leap up and down and shout and draw attention to yourself and away from the artist.
It is probably a very subjective opinion but I love the performance of this song from 2019 a little more. It hits different with me. :)

I can't help but burst out in laughter whenever you react to the audience's "lack" of passion. It is a question of cultural difference. Slavic audiences are not known to show much emotion in public but will give flowers instead to demonstrate their approval. You'll find this kind of response whenever Dimash sings in front of a Russian audience.

What a wonderful song🥰. The lyrics are so beautiful❤️. Love Is Like A Dream was written by Igor Krutoy for the Russian singer Alla Pugacheva some years ago. But Dimash sings it totally different. And more beautiful.
Igor Krutoy is the famous Russian/Ukrainian composer, producer and songwriter. He has come out of retirement to work with Dimash. True masterpieces were created. He writes songs that only Dimash could sing with his vocal range, such as Olimpico, Stranger or Ave Maria. You’ll often see him accompanying Dimash on the piano. The two have no contract. Their cooperation is based more on mutual trust. It’s more like a father/son relationship.
This performance of Love Is Like A Dream was from the Slavic Bazaar in Belarus 2020. It’s an International Festival of Arts and a contest for young singers, which he won in 2015. Here in 2020 he sang as a guest. I like the performance with Igor Krutoy a little bit more but this was waaay more funny. I laughed so hard. You almost couldn't see him for all the flowers.

I love this performance so much. ❤ It shows how much Dimash is loved by Dears even though this was not a Dimash event. Most of the audience are not Dears and have never heard him sing but Dears who were there showed so much love to him. Dears kind of halted the show with their love. ❤
Then he says, "Today is my mother's birthday." and with a twist of his wrist, all Dears followed him down the stage to give her flowers. 😂🤣😂
You only appreciate how his voice has grown when you hear the original version of this piece and compare.
It will be Dimash’s 29th birthday on Wednesday 24th🎉 Regarding what he was saying after the song, he won the Slavic Bazaar in 2015 with a score of 175/180, I believe it was the first major singing competition that he won outside if Kazakhstan. He then had his first headlined tour Unforgettable Day in 2016 and then in January 2017 he had another big breakthrough when he took part in, and came 2nd, in the Singer show in China.
I just wish he could make a similar breakthrough in the west. He did take part in the American talent show Worlds Best in 2019 which he voluntarily withdrew because there were children taking part and he wanted them to advance to the next stage rather than himself.
I’m in the UK and the only person I’ve met who already knew of Dimash is Chinese, I do my best to introduce people to his music and I feel that anyone who hasn’t heard Dimash sing is missing out in something amazing.

When Dimashhas done concerts or appearances in the west there is what can only be described as a media blackout. Dimash gave a sold out concert in New York and not one major newspaper mentioned it. It really is annoying how he is ignored 😥
@@phaedree2657 It’s bizarre that a concert with ~17000 in attendance by an artist of Dimash’s talent and style wouldn’t get coverage, not even in the arts sections of local news.
I’m in the UK and I was happy to read an article in the Yorkshire Times on May 3rd about Dimash, and his performance of the Kazakh national anthem at the Vegas boxing match was mentioned in national papers when they covered the fight, but I’ve not seen anything else. The only person I’ve met here who already knew of Dimash is from China.
I want to spend the word about him so that his talent gets the recognition that it deserves but I don’t know how to go about it.
I agree. It is hard to get him any publicity here in the US.
So I take written info with me everywhere to give to whoever I can. At the vets, the dentist, the car repair, mega stores and all delivery pple. Some are amateur musicians so are interested, but I never know their reactions, if they do listen to him. He was recently on the big electronic screen in Times Square, but unfortunately not singing.
He is now in L.A. working with some producers, but I really hope he does NOT let them put him into "box" as they do here

I have been to 2 concerts and tried to interest my sister and BIL in him. She said, " We've heard him but we don't watch him ( or follow him) l don't know why some pple just do not understand what a talent he is.

Hes not only loved for singing, he is also humble, sweet, multi- talented, thankful, giving, caring.. I could go on. Hes the perfect example of how a human should be❤❤. Hes just pure beautiful inside and out.
I love this performance just for the avalanche of flowers at the end and the respect and love he shows to his mother. He must miss his family very much now he's living in LA with just his bodyguard for company.

Dimash first shot to fame after the competition show "Singer" In China. This is not that stage. He was referring to having won the Slavic Bazaar international competition on this stage 6 years prior. This was his return to that stage not as a competitor but as an invited performer.

A beautiful performance as usual but I prefer the one with Igor Krutoy, there is an intimacy with that performance that is pure magic. There is no bad choice with the Voicebender only preferences. Every time I say this is my favourite until the next time when I say the same. In Baltic countries it is not done to shout and scream and stand up as we do in the west, it is seen as rude instead they shower the artist with flowers, these he donates to hospitals etc. UKDear 💜👍🏴

The Slavic Bazaar is an international singing competition show in Belarus and Dimash won it in 2015, that was his first big international win. From there he was invited everywhere and in 2017 went to China, where he hit the jackpot, millions of Chinese fans, CZcams fans, etc. And he still keeps it humble. He does love getting gifts from his fans, flowers are overwhelming, but he does give away most of them to hospitals and nursing homes. I really got to check out your livestreams, looks like fun.

Dimash recounts his very early "monkey act": getting on the stage as an audience applauded his parents. He accepted the attention, making the audience laugh and applaud more!
The flowers are donated after each concert, I think by the same group of children. His family does thoughtful, quiet charity, sharing, as I remember, a lot of food with the needy, and more. I don't network with any Dears, but I hear that many fan groups emulate his deeds and do other good works.
Dimash is a good influence because he likes being generous and practicing other moral virtues. He's a very thoughtful, mature young man who also loves his country and his fellow Kazakhs.

The people who are "not entertained" are usually there because of a desire to prove he's not the greatest singer, and they are stunned when they hear him. BTW, as to being a good boy, he really is very gracious and kind to everyone around him. I have only seen him grimace one time in a show where the "leader" was a bit off. OTT, he's known for being very outgoing.

Someone has probably already commented about this, but when you see a large crowd like that, and they don’t stand up for a standing ovation, it’s because they are Russian. The Russian people feel that standing up and clapping is rather rude. That’s what I’ve heard. Some will stand, however. But for the most part they stay seated.
This was an annual talent competition that he won, before he performed on the Chinese TV show, "The Singer" in 2017. That was his big break through to world notice.
I think he Dimash, just lost his, Grandfather, I myself watch and listen to Dimash every day now, his music is a big part of my life now .go figure you no with Covid and all.
Yes discovered to the world, BUT he already was a big star in his own regions - Kazakhstan, Russia, Belarus etc. He came thru competions run in these areas, is and was already held in high esteem not only for his singing, musicianship, erc, but for so much more. He holds lots of high esteem awards from his country and those around him. Reviewers seem to think the singer made him - NO- , but the Chinese did immediately rftr his 1st performance share him with the rest of the world . Thank goodness
