Other commenters have mentioned that Floor had the flu for this performance. And she still sounds better than 95% of singers out there, amateur or professional. Damn.

Even those negative comments, when I listen this version and the Wacken 2013 one I notice that she can reach the high notes easily in this concert, even if she had a flu or she was tired, so Floor always highlights this song because of her versatility and power¡¡¡

Reinecke Fox deal with what? Tarja’s performance on the record and End of an Era is better.
Floor's version works for me, because at some point I get tired of listening to an operatic voice. Also, I feel that Floor evokes more emotion with this song.
The way Empuu fingers that last bit of the solo is so odd. Underrated guitarist in a severely underrated band!

Não é a Floor, a questão é que a banda baixou o tom para este som. Devem estar enjoados de tocar do mesmo jeito. Achei mais introspectiva... Pessoal não entende de música e quer criticar a cantora.
Floor é perfeita, tem uma voz que se adapta a qualquer estilo. Não sei o que esse povo está reclamando.
E a Floor estava com uma gripe forte naquela semana! Imagine ter que cantar gripada (gripada mesmo, não resfriada, que é mais uma doença mais fraca) e mesmo assim atingir ESSAS notas! Insano! A voz dela é de outro mundo!

somehow the whole thing is just weird..like.. she could be more louder (therefore it would sound more nice), but I think she doesnt want to oversing the music. so I mean the music is a bit quiet. overall awesome as always.

I agree, somehow sounds weird to me. Wacken 2013 was waaaay better, either her voice is getting tired or some tricks in the background or band consensus on not “overblowing” it...who knows

A decent Nightwish tribute performance.
End of an era performance is better. This is good but not as magical as it sounded then.
Nightwish is an amazing band and it is always difficult to change a singer (maybe much more than one of the other members), though this song sounds very good, nobody else than Tarja is able to create goose bumps. Both Floore and Anette have their place, but sorry nightwish is only complete with Tarja.
Oh, I dunno. In the live versions I get far more goosebumps with Floor than I ever did with Tarja. The Wacken version of Everdream is far superior to this one, but I still like this better than the live Tarja version.
And still!! Tarja turunen is better
It's not about who's better. Is more about who fits in the band and what special thing every singer can bring into the band, I guess. Floor is amazing!! I love her and I think she gave Nightwish a renaissance!!! :)

I'm new to Nightwish music, so I'm not one of the old school fans who insist on sucking on Tarja's teat. I listened with an open mind. Endless Forms Most Beautiful was many things, but generic? Get your fucking head checked.
