I usually hate the Disney live action adaptations but this one was amazing. They did the animated version justice and it was so good. And made me cry lol

I've watched the film yesterday with my sister, friends and office mates on 16 March, the very first day of showing here in The Philippines. Disney never fails to amaze me. The Beauty and the Beast story I learned since I was a kid (I've watched the animated film back in 1999 if my mind recalls it right) was exactly the story they have this time. It's absolutely amazing! You know what I cried almost the whole time watching it. This is so far Disney's best "human-ated" version of their bunch of fairy tale movies. I love the part where the Beast transforms into a hot, jaw-dropping and heart-throbbing Prince! I was like melting that time, really.

The ball dance part was my favourite. I loved the yellow dress and just loved everything about it. When ever I watch it I feel so in love from their emotions and how they look at each other❤️
WOW. Everything was hard work. 1 month shoot for just a scene & 15 weeks preparation for just the props is absolutely dedication. The movie was ABSOLUTELY PERFECT REMAKE!!! Thumbs up for this video facts!!!

This was so heartbreaking and lovely that I was left completely speechless.
The Beast was such a complex man, he convinced me that he was a person desperately furious with his self- and with his situation. And yet I cheered him onward in every step he took toward redemption!
Belle was patient and kindhearted and courageous. She had me on her side from the start, dismissing the whole towns attitude toward her. I can't wait to see it again. The relationship of the lead pair is quite surprising. I loved the dance moments best of all!
I was so excited when I found out Emma Watson was playing beauty she the perfect person to play that part she's my favourite actor

I loved all of 2017 version of 'Beauty and the Beast'! Each scene not only recreated the animated version but also enhanced the original story with the added 45 minutes of back story. I'm more enchanted than ever and cannot wait to go back!
Loved the fact that they were consistent with the original and dint change much. They made my childhood come alive and I thank them for that. This is by far the best adaption of a movie I have ever watched
In Germany the whole movie is dubbed, unfortunately. So for me, I couldn't recognise the voices and didn't know which actors were playing Mrs Potts & Co. until they transformed in the end. Lumiere was the trickiest! I didn't even recognise McGregor with all the paint in his face. It wasn't until the credits rolled that I learned Ewan McGregor was playing Lumiere!

He sounds different with a French accent. I think Lumiere & Plumette were the only 2 with French accents. Lumiere means light in French.
Lily Emma Lindsay Yeah, well I didn't hear McGregor's voice but his german dubbing. I'm pretty sure I would have recognised his singing voice - I remember Moulin Rouge very well.

I love how they took the original story where Belle's father is taken prisoner because he wanted to get the rose for Belle. And the song the Beast sings when Belle heads back to the village was phenomenal! It was just a fantastic movie.

Well I for one appreciate all the time-consuming detailing that's been done to make this movie. I just watched Beauty and the Beast today, and the visuals and special effects are all stunning! I especially like how the put together the epic "Be Our Guest" scene as well as Belle's dress :)

I saw the movie and it was amazing The costumes were beautiful and the performance in general was outstanding. The best thing about the movie is the character development, you get so much more out of the characters and their personalities without pushing it on you. Defiantly stands up to the original.

I just saw the movie and it was beautiful. I love the remake and how each character is still the same as we all know them but have different quirks. My favorite part of the movie was a newly added scene where Beast brings out a magical book and they both end up in Belle child home where it explains her mother's history.

I saw it first session it came out, I felt like I was watching a live performance of it all. Cried when the music started, had the urge to stand up and clap after every musical number, and fell in love all over again with the movie I grew up with as a kid
I always watch these behind the scenes clips for any movie I enjoyed. Fascinating how every detail has so much effort so no wonder they cost so much to make. Well worth the efforts, the outcomes are incredible! Loved loved loved Beauty & the Beast!
saw it last night and the live-action film did the classic a great justice. my girlfriends and I had to fight the temptation to sing along.
I absolutely loved the song the beast sings after he lets Belle go to her father to save him from the townspeople (mostly Gaston). It was an amazing song and the special affects for it were perfectly choreographed.
I saw the movie on 3/19/2017, I am 64 yrs. old and I took two 12 year old girls, we all loved the film, and felt it was very well done! Thank you for giving us a bit of insight as to the making of the film, very interesting! Christy
I cried so hard throughout the entire movie! It was my favourite disney movie since i was a kid and i even named my sister Belle. The beast and Belle are so cute together especially when he shared his knowledge on books with Belle! It was so so so so adorable oml i actually cant
A great version of the wonderful fairytale! I loved the movie prety much! You could see the beast's feelings by his face expression and his eyes, it was so real and beautiful! Belle has always been my favourite character, and in my opinion, no one could represent her better then Emma Watson. There were some differences in plot in comparison to the animated version, which I do like. I highly recommend this movie to all disney lovers like me. I want to see it again.

I saw this Movie in 2017 for my 11th anniversary with my Hubby. I love the XTRA Songs and Background stories!! How Maurice is an Artist. Josh Gadd was AMAZING as LeFou!!! I Love him as OLAF and in PIXELS as well.
I really loved the whole thing! The first opening song and scenes were great background to set the scenes. This version actually explained a few things that I didn't understand in the original version. Thank you for all the effort to bring it to life and the casting was perfect!

It was amazing! Every character was well rounded, and it was beautiful to watch. Incredible movie! They really smoothed out some issues the cartoon had, and made the romance more palpable. The Beast has a REASON for being a jerk! It was great :)
i watch the movie on 19 march and it SO good. i really wasn't expecting how well they handled the plot holes and the props.
especially the performance when Belle pushes Maurice out of the cellar... it just brought tears to ny eyes.

I had high expectations as I walked into the cinema to watch it, because the 1991's version is my favorite movie since childhood. Well. I am speechless. As the music started I got goosebumps, later I cried a lot, then even more and at the end I went out of the cinema as the happiest person on earth. one of the new songs in the film is absolutely love. "Evermore" is a very catchy, yet beautiful, song that really shows the beast's emotional attachment to Belle.

I was actually only talking about that with a friend earlier saying how much I love Gaston's song, and when I listen to that, I'm all like 'well, that's definitely my fav', but then I listen to Belle or Beauty and the Beast or Be Our Guest, and I change my mind until I hear Gaston again! Lol! :-)
I love Emma Thompson's rendition of Beauty and the Beast - really gorgeous, I thought. And Luke Evans and Josh Gad are fantastic singing and dancing to Gaston! And Belle is such a delightful song too with Emma Watson. Oh, but then there's Be Our Guest, which is such a well-choreographed number, and really appeals to the musical fan in me. There I go again, Dodo Life, I just cannot make up my mind. I LOVE THEM ALL!!! Can't wait to hear which ones are the stand-out tracks for you after you've seen it. I've seen it and especially loved her ballroom gown. I didn't think they would do it justice but they made it so similar to the cartoon movie, I was throughly impressed! The flow, the look, the color, I loved everything about it!
My mom, adopted sister and I saw it just last Sunday March 18th. And it was awesome. My favorite scene was when Belle asked Prince Adam about growing a beard and he growls playfully at her. It was cute. And Belle's dresses were absolutely gorgeous

The time it took them to make Be Our Guest was totally worth it, it was a magical scene and was one of the highlights of the movie.

I really liked it. I know people complain about the dress, but honestly it feels more real. That is a dress that someone everyday could wear and it was inspired by real historical dresses. As much as I loved the Cinderella dress, it was not possible for anyone to wear the massive thing other than during a filming with 20 helpers and special camera effects. It would take the same effect to create the cartoon one exact into real life. Plus unlike Cinderella which had a big part with a dress, Beauty and the Beast wasn't known for her pretty dress. It had a lot of character and plot to it. It a huge step away from most fairy tales were you fall in love with a prince and get married in the morning.I think it was wonderful and both movies cartoon and live actions work wonderfully together :)
The problem with the dress is the fact it was the wrong style, it was the wrong color, it was plain. Let me explain they should have kept to the original off the shoulder style, the gathers, and of course the Gold i repeat Gold color. Yes the dress was Gold the very artist who designed her said her dress was gold because Disney pressured him to make her dress pink and he convinced them to allow a gold dress so bell could be different from the other princess's. If you watch the animation closely you can see how the material she wears shines. Another difference to her dress and the live action is the fact bells dress has 3 shades of gold where as the live action only has a flat yellow and gold. Not to mention the layers of the live action dress are disproportionate, the top layer is way too long they should have added another to give it better proportion as well as add more layers so it doesn't sit so flat. To be honest i would have been fine with the design if the bodice actually matched the rest of the dress, it looked like it was designed for a completely different gown... Another thing you pointed out that her dress was historically actuate is quite wrong because had she worn the periods dress it would have been much fancier and had much more elaborate detail as well as a cage to give her hips a wider appearance. A quick google search would have taught you a little...
I would also like to point out another discrepancy in the point you made. You said that Belle wasn't known for her pretty dress. Your right in the actual story she wasn't known for that. Here's where your discrepancy occurs She became a Disney icon with a pretty Gold dress and Disney markets to children so ergo they emphasize the dress. Also since the story is 18th century fashion was a big deal. Your argument will be that it expresses who Belle is. A dull plain yellow dress certainly doesn't reflect her i would think a complex and beautiful gown would actually have signified the depth of her character.
@@williammahe Its cute that you make excuses for a lack luster 2 dimensional dress. The dress was flat the ruffles needed to be propped up with more skirting to give flare and stagger the taper of the skirting. The dress was also yellow which the original was not and was given the gold color to be unique. Bell is actually not much different from the original apart from the inventor part. She is just as feisty in the original as she was here. The costuming sucked plain and simple. That's nothing compared to her singing but that's a different argument... If you are going to make an iconic movie and not make too many drastic changes stuck to the original design or make something new completely like they did with sleeping beauty... As far as the cage goes they clearly didn't use the period they were portraying because it didn't emphasize the hips and yes i did google perhaps you should try harder....
