I've just read about those experiences way too many times. Of course, not all of them have to be genuine, but there are lots of other celebs that almost noone has anything bad to say about or who are being praised as very polite by servers, filmstaff, fans who've met them etc. Emma Watson is not one of them.

She's an actress, so her singing level is really not bad at all! But the most amazing thing after seeing this is how she deals with all these people on set. Imagine having a hundred people silently watching you as you passionately talk to a talking candle stick that isn't there yet
I have been as an extra on several TV series and movies and I can tell you, that most of the time it is very boring and tiring job... you have to wait endlessly for the cameras to be moved somewhere else, doing one scene like 10 times or more... terrible
Agoraphobication Depends on what kind of acting too. Film is different than theatre, for instance. In film there are special effects you have to imagine and close up takes. Theatre has its own challenges, but there's a lot more interaction and I've personally found that the actors feed off of each other's energy and work off each other more in theatre. it's also live, so there is almost this higher charge of anything can happen that you have to roll with, the people are actively responding, there are no do overs, etc. Both are lots of fun! But I prefer live theatre more ☺
its not that bad once you're used to it. and if youre around professional crew and actors and shit.. all the people watching you get it and have been through this so many times and they honestly dont feel awkward so you shouldn't lol
I know a lot of people criticize her performance and how she was cold compared to the animated but like... it’s a more realistic reaction? She was there against her will and separated from her father who she loved dearly and was her only family... why wouldn’t she be cold and off putting to the beast? I may be a little bias bc I do like her and Harry Potter a lot. I think there was definitely things that could’ve been done better but overall, she and the film were good. I do agree though, she doesn’t have a good range of roles (same character) so everything she acts in it is mostly the same.
I mean it's probably just me, but I find Belle's yellow dress really underwhelming. Her dress is iconic, but in the movie it looks so small and boring!! I wish her dress had been more like Cinderella's in the 2015 adaptation.
Althea Dinglasan they constructed the dress the way they did so it would flow a certain way when she danced, and close-ups reveal that they laid down gold detailing and crystal onto the dress skirt. The designer made very specific and more simplistic choices for a reason. The trailers don't do it justice. it flows beautifully and is very elegant. Frankly, im glad it is nothing like the cinderella dress. If we have the same design expectations for all the princesses to have the same dress, it would be so dull.

I love Emma but somehow this role doesn't fit her, in some way I think? Here's my observation: The way she portrayed Belle is like a polished lady where as Belle... She's a lady, don't get me wrong but she has this charm of an untumbled stone. She has an unassuming air. She's a bit detached doesn't give off a snobby vibe but a warm, approachable one. I think Belle is quite a nerd but well-behaved that's why she's graceful about it. Every bookworm gets this feeling, like every fiber of your being is alive when you're holding a book and you just don't care who pass by - then when someone ask you about what you're reading you're like pandora's box that has been opened people would either back off or get enthralled as well. That's why despite the people around her talking behind her back, her eyes are not dull but is quietly lively. I haven't seen that in her portrayal 🙁 in the scene where she's taking a stroll in the plaza, she's giving off vibe of someone tired, and complaining. She's absorbed on what's around her rather than absorbed on what she's holding 😕 Those short scenes are telling so much. Belle is innocent and easily impressed. I haven't seen that expression in Emma's eyes. I can't be harsh with her singing cause I know she's no singer, as long as she has embodied Belle but even that... I'll just mesmerize myself with the setting and the giant library then 😁😁
Blame that on Emma struggling to push her feminism onto a character that was well enough as it was. And also on her poor acting, for fuck's sake, it's almost like she's being forced to play this, what the shit.

When I see Emma Watson in that bright yellow dress, she really is a beautiful princess. The smile, the beauty, the voice, the style is what makes her unique and special.
You can search on Google that she has had a nose surgery...and I said don't encourage people to get surgeries and get themselves plastic...emma Watson is my role model I won't speak a word adverse about her but if she didn't have any surgery then she would have been more inspiring
People need to stop making judgments on this movie from only seeing the trailers and or the behind the scenes. They don't show everything so, until those who keep saying the same negative things over and over actually watch the movie the negative comments mean nothing.
Watched the movie yesterday and it was perfect. It was exactly like the orginal plot line and didn't change anything. It was fabulous! Beauty and the neasy is my fav Disney movie
That was really impressive- but I kind of wish Gaston's main outfit had the evolution Belle's did, & looked a tad more natural, more in-keeping with the 'historical period' the story's meant to be set in- the guy is a hunter, after all- I don't know why they didn't make the dyeing a bit more subtle, and less high-school play-like
There's also a problem with the beginning, the point of making belle stand out (and have everyone say that she's odd and different) with the blue dress is that no one else is wearing blue and I see a lot of blue out there
Michelle Criss that's true. In the animation they made it a point to make Belle be the only one wearing blue but in this film plenty of people were wearing blue. I guess they decided not to stick with that particular concept. sigh...

I have been as an extra on several TV series and movies and I can tell you, that most of the time it is very boring and tiring job... you have to wait endlessly for the cameras to be moved somewhere else, doing one scene like 10 times or more... terrible
Agoraphobication Depends on what kind of acting too. Film is different than theatre, for instance. In film there are special effects you have to imagine and close up takes. Theatre has its own challenges, but there's a lot more interaction and I've personally found that the actors feed off of each other's energy and work off each other more in theatre. it's also live, so there is almost this higher charge of anything can happen that you have to roll with, the people are actively responding, there are no do overs, etc. Both are lots of fun! But I prefer live theatre more ☺

I know a lot of people criticize her performance and how she was cold compared to the animated but like... it’s a more realistic reaction? She was there against her will and separated from her father who she loved dearly and was her only family... why wouldn’t she be cold and off putting to the beast? I may be a little bias bc I do like her and Harry Potter a lot. I think there was definitely things that could’ve been done better but overall, she and the film were good. I do agree though, she doesn’t have a good range of roles (same character) so everything she acts in it is mostly the same.

I mean it's probably just me, but I find Belle's yellow dress really underwhelming. Her dress is iconic, but in the movie it looks so small and boring!! I wish her dress had been more like Cinderella's in the 2015 adaptation.

Althea Dinglasan they constructed the dress the way they did so it would flow a certain way when she danced, and close-ups reveal that they laid down gold detailing and crystal onto the dress skirt. The designer made very specific and more simplistic choices for a reason. The trailers don't do it justice. it flows beautifully and is very elegant.
Frankly, im glad it is nothing like the cinderella dress. If we have the same design expectations for all the princesses to have the same dress, it would be so dull.

I love Emma but somehow this role doesn't fit her, in some way I think? Here's my observation: The way she portrayed Belle is like a polished lady where as Belle... She's a lady, don't get me wrong but she has this charm of an untumbled stone. She has an unassuming air. She's a bit detached doesn't give off a snobby vibe but a warm, approachable one. I think Belle is quite a nerd but well-behaved that's why she's graceful about it. Every bookworm gets this feeling, like every fiber of your being is alive when you're holding a book and you just don't care who pass by - then when someone ask you about what you're reading you're like pandora's box that has been opened people would either back off or get enthralled as well. That's why despite the people around her talking behind her back, her eyes are not dull but is quietly lively. I haven't seen that in her portrayal 🙁 in the scene where she's taking a stroll in the plaza, she's giving off vibe of someone tired, and complaining. She's absorbed on what's around her rather than absorbed on what she's holding 😕 Those short scenes are telling so much. Belle is innocent and easily impressed. I haven't seen that expression in Emma's eyes. I can't be harsh with her singing cause I know she's no singer, as long as she has embodied Belle but even that... I'll just mesmerize myself with the setting and the giant library then 😁😁
